Mommy just opened her eyes for the first time since yesterday evening. She just looked at us and is holding Addy's hand right now. She closed her eyes again and seems to very comfortable. Ruth and I gave her a warm lotion bath this morning and she didn't respond at all.
Julie, That was funny but I can't believe you told that on yourself.
I spoke to Judy (Pastor Butch's wife) and told her that we didn't want a dinner after the funeral because so many would have to leave and go on home, and besides, it was so much food that I'm sure, much of it went to waste. I told her to tell the people of the church to put that money towards the building Fund which would be a lasting memorial. This is Rita, not Ruth. Forgot to sign her out.
