By the way,
Wanted to share with you all, Grandma's calico cat is a momma now. She has 2 little yellow kittens in the dog house on the little house!
Also, Paul Sears, told me that Goldie fell and broke her nose, wrist and possibly ankle. She is staying with Gloria and I told him to get me her address so we can send her cards. Remember her in your prayers!

Marcia, those pictures of Preslee and Montana are precious! Montana absolutely LOVES attention and it looks like she is getting it. She loves kids and it looks like the feeling is mutual!
I picked Mommy up this evening and we swung by her house. Steve and Teresa had spaghetti made and Kelsey made no bake cookies. We timed it just right. This was 9pm! Grandma filled up! She sat down at daddys spot and looked at me and grinned and said, "now you know whose place this is don't you!?" I told her YEP and now it was going to be hers. She seemed more reminiscint instead of sad tonight. She just moseyed around and looked at stuff. We cleaned out the medicine cabinet and got a ton of laxatives, pepto and black strap molasses! That must be what is wrong with mommys BP. She always told Dr. Anderson that the Black Strap is what kept her so healthy. So Rita, the next time you are up there, I left a bottle for you. She says a tablespoon a day does the trick. If only we had known, we could've saved ourselves a lot of worry with all those blood pressure pills, huh?
Mommy seems really excited to be getting together with the family on Sunday. That is all thats been on her mind all week. When we going to Lonnies! Sure hope his cooking lives up to the expectations, but as always I am sure it will!
And Marcia, the only reason you like the telephone is because you like to talk more than you like to type! LOL
see ya'll sunday!

I can get some hot dog chili, I don't make it :p I think I'll get some slaw too, we can use it for the bbq and hot dogs, that is if you don't already have it taken care of. Marcia, don't be a party pooper. BLOGGING IS FUN!!!! Those were beautiful pics of Preslee and Montana. Looks like she's right at home, both of them. We'll be coming in tomorrow sometime. See you then :)

It is beautiful here today!! Not only is it sunny, it's WARM!
Mommy, I bet you're vision is better than mine is now.
Hope to see ya'll Sunday! =)
Hey all, just to let anyone know that may need one, I got the certified death certificates for daddy. I know some places of business may require a copy to allow you to collect bereavement pay. Just let me know and I can either fax them or mail them.
I have had both eye surgeries now and my vision in my r eye is 20/30 and my left is 20/25. He said it would continue to improve even beyond that. I got fitted with my cpap so that I can actually sleep now. So I should be good for another 10-20 years ;). Thanks for the prayers and I hope everyone is doing good and enjoying the sunshine. Yesterday when I went to daddys his daffodils are turning yellow. I bet he is in heaventhinking someone better get to work on his yard. Me and mommy are going to collect a few from there and Danny is going to fix her a garden bed for her to weed!
Little calico cat is pregnant so I am trying to convince Danny to let us being her here. I do believe mommy will enjoy nursing baby kittens. And she is so friendly I think she would let us. Danny tells me no but I don't think he will tell grams no! What do you all think. I went to see mommys doctor today about her blood pressure as it is still on stroke range. Shebis so sensitive to meds and has already tried numerous ones, that we are kind of limited. But she is starting her on a blood pressure patch called catapress and you change it once a week. It's the lowest dose so we can actually go up on it if need be. The side edfects are similar to the ones she is already taking so she should tolerate it well. We got her swing situated at Ritas and she was almost as tickled as Olivia and Kaiden.
Jacob and I are going up to take her the medicine and visit before our Passover service tonight.
Mommy said she was going to sunrise service with me on Sunday morning and we have our Easter cantata at 11am if anyone is in and wants to go. That will still give is plenty time to get to lonnies for lunch.
Love to all
and hope to see you sunday. Mommy will be here after her church on Saturday night to stay and of course the final four with wvu will be on. She is so excited we are going to dress in blue and gold and go to bed. Lol

My Prayer
She walks through the house looking for a glimpse of what was. But he isn’t there, not at his desk, not in the kitchen and not in the bedroom that they shared for near seventy years. She wants to hold on to something that reminds her of him, to have him close to her, but she can’t find the right thing. There is nothing physical there that she can hold, that isn’t already in her heart and soul. She mourns her loss and loneliness with tears but only for a second as she rejoices knowing that in heaven she will see him one day. I tell her,” Mom we will plant his flowers in my yard for you to tend on earth while he tends to yours in heaven.” She smiles the smile that only she can smile and says, “I would like that”. “You know we have two precious flowers in heaven that he is holding right now! If we try and live right I know that we will go there one day and be with them.” I hug her now small frail frame and wipe her tears as she did for me more than forty years ago-but now seems like only yesterday. She looks the same only with the snowy white hair, the same as her mother. I can only imagine at the loss she feels as I have known love that is deep and true, but only for one third of the years. My children I know are comforting to me as I know that hers are to her, but it still does not fill the void that laid by her side all the cold nights when she would warm her feet on his or awake in the middle of the night and say, “honey, are you awake?” and here the familiar voice say “yes” even if she woke him up. My prayer is for you to find peace in your heart and soul because I know that is what he would want. He tried to protect you as your memory failed. When you would forget and leave the water running or when you would turn the stove on high and I would get the all familiar call, “Trish, what do I do, Mom has the stove on high again”? I miss those phone calls as sometimes it was the only way that I could help, as he always had things under control. As he knew he was becoming sicker in body and spirit, he wouldn’t ask me to do his bills or check the checkbook. He would say, “Sis, will you get my bank book that I keep my statements in” knowing he would have to tell me where it was so that when the time came, I would know. Mom would be taken care of even in his death. Yes, she will miss him, like a hurt that she thinks will never heal. But thanks to God in Heaven, it will…
