After the liver biopsy the dr told us that the CT scan done yesterday showed a new nodule on his right lung SO they did a biopsy of that while we were there. We won't know the results of that until monday so guys keep praying. He is working miracles everyday. Danny is in quite a bit of pain from both biopsies and the positions he had to maintain during. He had a low grade fever today they think from his chest wound so they wouldn't do the central line due to risk of infection. He is hoping to bring him back on Tuesday for the line and chemo. Anyhow that's the plan as of now. Thanks for the prayers,
Love to all

Happy Birthday, Greg!

Happy Birthday, Blain!
I e-mailed people last week with the request that they send me recipes. I am working on a family project and I would like to have EVERYONE represented. That means all you fellows, teenagers and children can send me your recipes. Even if you can't cook, you have favorite recipes that you like to eat. Have your parents submit the recipes for you. I do not want any of you to be left out! They do not have to be "your" recipes. They can come from anywhere.
It was 17 years ago that I had cervical cancer and 10 years ago that I had breast cancer.

Kenneth W. Hagin (Jr.) was at our church a couple of weeks ago for a crusade, and he was speaking on his father's (Kenneth E. Hagin) favorite scriptures (Mark 11:23-24): "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."

He told about living in Port Arthur, TX, when he was young. He remembers that a relative called his Mom and Dad to tell them about their baby being born in the hospital in Houston. He said that doctors didn't expect the baby to live and they wouldn't permit the parents to see the baby because its face was so deformed. He said that when his father got the word, he told them via telephone: "That baby will be fine!" He said that his parents then got dressed, went to the hospital in Houston and when they got there, the doctors told them they could see the baby and that it was fine! The doctors said they stood by while the baby's head "exploded" and its facial features became normal. And he is still alive today.

His father said that there are times when you just need to believe and speak. Jr. said that you need to Keep Saying It Until You See It and Do Not Get Separated From the Statement That You Make.

I personally do not believe that God wants any of his children to be sick, and Jesus took stripes on his back and purchased our healing just as he purchased our salvation.

As I was praying this morning, God told me: Do not listen to the negative. Say only what I say because with your words you create your world just as I created My world with My words.

Julie, I bet you can weigh in with your testimony! And others of you out there also.

Praise The Lord

Just want to tell you Danny, that you are on our Prayer Chain and we are constantly praying for you and believing God for another Miracle.  I said another one because, as you may remember, it was 10 years ago, this month, that Blain got his second diagnosis of Melanoma.  You could tell when the Drs. gave it to him that they weren't very optimistic, Even telling him that, at the most, they would give him 10 years to live.  Well, Today is his 50th birthday and it is pretty much, exactly 10 years later and well.... you know the rest of the story.  I know that it is because the Great Physician showed up!!!

update on Danny

Evening all,
Just to update you all on Danny.  He went to UVA on Wednesday.  They did an ultrasound of his abdomen and there is a spot on his liver that apparently wasn't there in May when they scanned him.  The area is 2.1 cm and they would like to do an MRI but with his heart valve they can't so he will be going for a liver biopsy on Thursday.  He will also get a central line that day for his chemo.  The plan is to start chemo on the 22nd.  He will be admitted that day and his oncologist said he would be there til Monday or Tuesday.   He will start chemo no matter what the biopsy shows at this time.
Please continue to pray for him as he undergoes these tests and starts chemo.  We know this is all in Gods hands.  Like Danny often says, he might be in the drivers seat but he doesn't always do the drivingSmile
Love to all,

Trish
