This is from our spring carnival at our church. One of the clowns made me a flower while Kaiden was sitting on my lap. He loved the balloons!

Good Evening~Just checkin' in. Love the Header pic and the new look. I can see it better. That little red head sure looks like her Daddy. Especially in the black and white photo. I cleaned at Mommy's today and Daddy worked all day in the living room, copying some old pics. Pics of his Grandma and Grandpa. He gave me one pic of Grandma Treadway and Uncle Lee sittin' outside over a bucket. Don't know what was in it. Lee was just a little boy, I think it was taken in 1939? Anyway, before I left, he had given me all these old pics of his cousins, uncles, etc. I don't know if I want to claim kin to some of them. They were a rough lookin' bunch. Nobody ever smiled in the pics. I guess there wasn't much to smile about. I made them 2 skillets of cornbread and 2 skillets of biscuits (I make mine in the iron skillet). That's all they were concerned about, was having bread to eat. Mommy is having trouble remembering all of her ingredients for the cornbread and it doesn't turn out. We'll just have to remember to keep them bread made up. I stole Daddy's suit to take to the cleaners so he can wear it to the reception. Mommy said if I told him I was taking it, he would say it didn't need it. I hope he doesn't miss it!!! Shane, are you following this blog? You might as well put your 2 cents worth in. This week is going to be hectic. Blain told me this evening that the company he works for is taking 10 percent of their pay and we are having to pay the premium for our insurance now. (We've never had to do that before) Also they are raising our deductibles and co-pays. He said some of the guys are really upset, but he told them, they should be thankful that is all that has changed, with so many of the mines laying off. I am thankful for the job and the premiums that we have to pay. It sure beats the alternative!!
I was talking about mine and Paul's engagement pictures. Amanda Reed took them and they turned out awesome! Everybody will get to see them at the reception.
That's terrible for Jacob, I hope he feels better! And I hope you guys don't get it!

Emily posted our new Header picture. Do you all recognize it? No hints... Addy are you getting excited? I know what you mean about the sick dogs and all the little presents. Jacob was sick last night with the diarrhea and vomiting. He could get as far as the bathroom but couldn't seem to make it to the commode, so needless to say I was cleaning all night...5 times. Finally I told him to sit in the shower and puke and poop at the same time and I would just hose him off. Today he has a fever of almost 102. I called the doctor and they said it was all going around and would probably go through the house hold...yeah for us!!!
Monica how do you rate so much time off or is it accumulated and you have to take it? Either way, I hope you enjoy it. Me and Emma hung some easter eggs on a tree yesterday, it was so nice and warm and today its cold and wet! Spring is definately in the air. I am going to post some pictures of Emma and I at Hawks Nest on tuesday with Emily.
ttyl,
What pictures are you talking about Addy?

Hey there!

Hey Everybody,

Can't wait to see you guys next Saturday. It's gonna be some kind of shindig. Unfortunately, we had to decide against the ramps. 4 hours in one room after a ramp dinner just wasn't in everybody's best interest!
My 2 babies, Bandit and Fozzie, (yes they're dogs) were so sick yesterday! Bandit threw up everywhere!!! And Paul tried to clean it up, bless his heart, but then he got just as sick as they did so I had a wonderful little presents all over the carpet when I got home yesterday. I'd hate to see him with a poopy diaper!
Janet brought the kids over yesterday so she could see our pictures and Paul took Olivia outside to play fetch with Bandit. She would throw the ball and he would go get it but then he got tired and he would just stand there and look at her. So she would say "Go get it...I'll get it!" and then she'd take off running. It was precious!
Take care everybody!

Hey Folks~I've had the babies so they don't leave me alone long enough to blog. Monica~What a nice vacation. Are you both off? I guess things are going as scheduled. Not too much to do, Addy is having the same caterer that Emily had, just not the same food. There isn't much for me to do except "write the checks"!!! I did find me a dress to wear at Belk. I had to pay a fortune for it though. It set me back $10. No really, it was $86, but it was on clearance for $21, and then when I went to pay for it, it was marked down more. My kind of shopping. Eat your heart out, Bobbie. The shoes will probably cost me $80, but not the dress!! The kids went home just a little while ago, so I'm going to have a cup of coffee, catch NCIS and relax a bit.
Good morning, it's nice and sunny this morning I just hope it warms up. We're off until April 18th so now I can get some spring cleaning done!! My favorite :)
So Rita, how are things coming along with the reception? Everything going well I hope. I'm going to go downstairs and listen to some soundtracks for church. See ya.

A PSA level of 6 isn't bad. Daddys ran around 6 for a few years just from the BPH(benign prostatic hypertophy) This just means it is enlarged, and iterrupts the urine flow, hard to get started, that kind of thing. But he has been on proscar for several years for that. Vonda said Davids PSA is 22 but he didn't want to have any other tests done either. I am pretty sure that Ruths brother in law just had something for Prostate Cancer, but can't remember. Fortunately, when you get as old as Daddy and Lee, it progresses slow . Daddys doctor told him one of his many other ailments would be what would take him out of this world. Daddy just laughed and said well he had plenty of 'em (ailments). But they are right, if it spreads it usually goes to the bones, starting in the hips.
Does anyone know what kind of cancer Mick had. I know it was something to do with his lungs and bones, but not sure
Trish, Daddy said his psa level is 6 it's been there for a while.
