More Trout

Tim that one sure looked nice. Michael and Devin got into the act today and landed these nice speckled trout in the Gulf. It was Devin's biggest at 16 inches. Michael's was 18.
Won't be able to make it in for Mom's cookout but will be thinking of you all. May try to call her that day.

We will be coming in on Friday for grandma's birthday. We're going to stay with Paul and Addy. I'll make a fruit salad and an angel food cake with fruit like the one I made at Steve's for Kelsey's graduation party. Happy belated birthday Julie ;) We took Marleigh on her first "mall" trip today. She went shopping for great-grandma Vivian!! She is now asleep at moms, I think she got tuckered out just a bit.
Love you all,
MP3
Mommy is wondering who is coming in for her cookout ? She is excited. Talking about "her people". Lonnie treated us to lunch today at the carriage cafe on rainelle. It was really good and mommy ate well. It's located in the building that marsha used to work. I was showing her some pictures and she said she would like to go to her old house but was afraid I didn't know the way.
By the way David nice fish. Makes tanner jealous!

David, Here's your competition.

You all made My Day

Thanks for all the wishes on my Birthday. Ruth, you shouldn't have told me I was old. I didn't know I was old at 57 and now I'm depressed. Ha! All your birthday wishes made my birthday special.
Michael, David and I went fishing Saturday in the Gulf and this 21 inch speckled trout will now be mine to grill! We caught a few others too but this was the biggest one.
Love you all, Julie.
Happy Birthday Julie, May the Lord bless you and yours and keep you in all your ways.

Summer you are indeed a beautiful young lady! When did you get all grown up~is what I want to know? I know your parents and grandparents are so proud of you guys. And you look so good together too!
Addy, when you were in high school you wrote a poem about your grandma. Could you dig that out and post it here for us to read. You entered a contest with it I think. With her birthday coming up, I would like to read that again.
We are getting a good soaking down here too!

Summer you are beautiful! Who was the lucky guy and I like the boots!

Hey Everybody,

It sure has been a busy day today! Mom and Dad brought Grandma over for dinner, Paul's parents came as well. I fixed Chicken Pot Pie (Bobbie's recipe!), salad with baby spinach, strawberries, grapes, broccoli, and dressing, and for dessert...chocolate pound cake and chocolate cake with chocolate-peanut butter dressing! Needless to say, we will all be a little fatter the next time you see us!
Grandma ate really well today. Even had two pieces of cake! But she said next time I could fix her dumplins. When Mom told Dad we were having Chicken Pot Pie he thought I was making one of those frozen deals! Can you believe it? He must have misunderstood and thought he was going to Janet's, sorry Janet couldn't resist.
After dinner, the men folk went ou to the garage and us ladies sat in the living room and visited. Grandma went to the bathroom but wouldn't sit down on the seat because she said my house was too cold! haha, I'll have to get a seat warmer for her! Now I am just scanning some pictures and listening to the rain.
Our family has been praying for careers and career changes for some time now, and something tells me those prayers are in the early stages of being answered!
Paul put in an application last Monday at Lewis Chevrolet in Beckley, and they told him they would be calling throughout the week to set up interviews for this past Friday. We prayed and waited, and Thursday evening rolled around and we hadn't heard anything. Friday morning, Paul was on his way to Beckley to drop off his resume where Matthew works, and PRAISE THE LORD Lewis called to schedule an interview for Friday afternoon. We should know something by Tuesday, but they gave him a tour of all the offices and asked him if he could start Wednesday if they called on Tuesday. They told Paul the job was between two other guys, one doesn't have a liscense and the other didn't seem interested after he applied.
Well, I've rambled on long enough. So everybody take care, and I pray your day has been as blessed as ours!

Love to All,
Addy and Paul

Morning All~ Mommy got up this morning and was fine but after a while she asked me who I was. She didn't know me. So I asked her if she remembered Trish..her baby girl and she said no. She cried and said "I can't remember." I asked her if she remembered her husbands name...she said no..then asked me where he was and I told her he had gone to Heaven a few months ago. She said she didn't remember. I showed her a picture of Daddy and she said she didn't remember him. I showed her a pic of Lonnie, Trish, and Bobbie on the blog. She didn't know who they were. She asked when she was going to get to meet some of her family. She asked me where she was. I told her my house and she said, "Well, who are you?" I asked her if she remembered Jacob, Tanner and Emily...showed her Tanner on the blog and she didn't remember him. Then Blain got up and came into the Living room and said "Good Morning!" I asked her if she knew who that man was and she said, "Blain". I told her we were going to Addy's for dinner today and asked her if she remembered her and she grinned and said "yes." She seemed her normal self after that. We were watching "Jentzen Franklin" on TV and "out of the blue" she said, Daddy use to watch him. Just thought you all should know. We went to church last night and I think, the whole church came to hug her. She seemed to know all them.
Also, please don't buy her any dusters, housecoats, nighties or anything to sleep in. Trish and I, both, have plenty. At my house, we sit out on the deck and she likes to look at all my flowers in the pots and baskets. I went to the greenhouse the other day and bought a bunch and she watched me plant some of them. I told her we would watch them grow and bloom. She could use pretty things for her hair. Combs with flowers or something, just not heavy ones. Other than that, I don't know of a thing, unless it would be a nice church dress. We get all dolled up for church! Something with pretty colors, not dark. Maybe a Red Dress!!
