Hey everyone! Danese Elementary students and families created cookbooks for our PTO fundraiser. The cookbook has over 600 recipes. Proceeds are going for a trip for the kids at the end of the year since the school is closing. Cookbooks sell for $12.50. If anyone would like a cookbook for Mother's Day presents or just for yourself, let me know.

Those of you that can make it on Saturday for their birthday celebration it is 2-4 at our church. If you could let me know for sure if you are coming so I have somewhat of a head count:) thanks and love to all. Oh by the way, when Dannys hair started falling out he was all for buzzing it but he didn't have that much to begin with! Alice you go for that wig! With some of the temps we have been having you will need all the help you can get staying warm. That's the big thing that changed with Danny since his illness. He sits around with a blanket and complains of freezing all the time.
I know I haven't posted in a while, but I do read daily! Happy Birthday Jacob! No matter how old you are, you're still the youngest in your family. (That's what I keep telling myself!)
Alice, sorry to hear about the sickness but we are continuing to pray for you, and Danny as well. Maybe you guys can go wig shopping together! I bet Danny has some great tips for you Alice!
We miss you all! Love, Addy and Paul

Update on Alice
The surgery went well, the Dr. said that she got all of the cancer she could find. The chemo treatment will take care of anything that is left. The chemo makes her sick but so far she is doing pretty good. Her next treatment is March 7. She is supposed to have 6 to 10 treatments, depending on how well it works. We are going to look for a wig pretty soon, they said she will loose her hair by the second treatment, but all and all she is hanging in there. The nausea and dry heaves seem to be the worst. Please keep us in your prayers.

OK, I knew either Goldie or Carol would give us the rest of the story. You all know, if you still have questions you want answered about the Treadway family, you'd better get them before Goldie and Carol go to Heaven!! I don't know who else we will ask!! Goldie and Carol...ya'll don't have to be in no hurry now! There's Joy too. She could probably shed some light on things. It's a good thing to know that Mary and Eliza Stover were not kin, even though they lived in the same community :)
I went to the Osborne Funeral today, as did, Teresa and Steve, Marcia and Lonnie, and the entire Crag Community. The place was full...I saw alot of Mommy and Daddy's Neighbors. It was so sad. Three Coffins in a row...all alike...with a flower arrangement on each. Norman Fleshman did the service and their cousin prayed. You DID feel a sense of Community in the room.
Hey,
No the lady was not Grandma Treadway's sisters daughter.Aunt Ollie was married to school teacher named Grafton Williams and they didn,t have any children.
Proably this lady,s mother was a Stover from up the river. You know both great grandmothers were Stovers. they said they were no relation.Great grandma Treadway was Mary Stover and Great grandma Buzzard was Eliza Stover...They proably are related, but you know how we people are..haha
It was awful to hear about the Osbornes. I didn't know Lacy's people, but when the obit was posted..I did know his two brothers... Laton and Melvin were both members of the VFW..
Take care and PRAY for us..
Love Goldie

I believe this was Daddy's first Cousin?? Wasn't Ollie Grandma Treadway's sister? I wonder if Daddy was named after her husband? Just wondering?
I'm planning to go to the Osborne's funeral. They have opened our road that was blocked last night.

Jeff Briant actually found them Rita. I remember him saying that he didn't show up for work though. After they couldn't raise them on the phone, he started calling some of the neighbors and Jeff finally went to check on them Tuesday afternoon. Him and his wife were still up there when I went up after work. Jeff said that Danny had been to there house to watch the Superbowl. When he found them Danny still had the same clothes and coat on that he had when he left his house. Probably came home right in the middle of it all. Very Sad. :(
