Rita
update on danny
We went to UVA on Thursday and the last 2 days have been a whirlwind. We got there at 10am and saw 4 doctors, only stopped long enough to get a diet coke and catch our breath. We didn't get out of there til 4pm. They all agree he should have a radical chest resection which is very involved. It will require the cardiothorasic surgeon as well as the plastic surgeon. They will be removing his chest muscle and taking possible the collar bone and some ribs, then move the muscle from his back to his chest and take a skin graft from his thigh to replace over his chest. They expect it to take about 6-7 hours. The Mayo clinic can't see us until the 26th of May and that just seems to long to wait. The Cleveland Clinic is going to see us on Tuesday and if they are in agreement with UVA, we will go to UVA on Wednesday and have surgery on Thursday. We got an awful lot of information in the last couple days, but we are still expecting miracles. I see no reason why when they open him up and start testing margins that they find no cancer cells! That is our prayer right now and we are believing, so I am asking you guys to help us with that prayer. As Mommy would say "all things are possible with Jesus:)"
Will keep you updated as we know more. Best thing about going to the Cleveland Clinic is we get to visit with The Hocevars;)
Love to all,
Trish and Danny

Senior Center
It was entertainment night at the Senior Citizens Center .
Claude the hypnotist explained: "I'm here to put you into a trance;
I intend to hypnotize each and every member of the audience."
The excitement was almost electric as Claude withdrew a beautiful antique pocket watch from his coat.
"I want each of you to keep your eyes on this antique watch. It's a very special watch.
It's been in my family for six generations."
He began to swing the watch gently back and forth while quietly chanting,
"Watch the watch, watch the watch, watch the watch..."
The crowd became mesmerized as the watch swayed back and forth, light gleaming off its polished surface.
A hundred pairs of eyes followed the swaying watch until, suddenly,
the chain broke; it slipped from the hypnotist's fingers and fell to the floor, breaking into a hundred pieces.
"CRAP!" said the hypnotist.
It took three days to clean up the Senior Citizens Center .
Claude was never invited again.

New Message
Thank you for using Picture and Video Messaging by U.S. Cellular. See www.uscellular.com for info.
Most of all the other beautiful things in life come by twos and threes, by dozens and hundreds. Plenty of roses, stars, sunsets, rainbows, brothers and sisters, aunts and cousins, but only one Mother in the whole world . . .
I trust everyone had a good Mother's day. I know, it's bittersweet. When I look around in our family, I see a lot of great Moms. So let's not beat ourselves up OK. We must have done something right! Momma was the best example wasn't she? She truly loved her kids and grandkids and she was not ashamed to show them. I regret now that I didn't pay more attention to those little things she did. She always put the other first and she always did things wholeheartedly. I fall so short when I step up beside her. I miss her today! Blessing to all of you
