If you haven't seen this video, watch it all the way to the end!
This is how I imagine Daddy will be when Mommy gets ready to go meet him. Only the bench will be full with everyone else that is there. Shoot, he will probably already have a mansion full!
I SAW DOLLY TODAY! She was so gorgeous! I wondered why Paul was so adamant about coming to Pigeon Forge this weekend. He knew she was going to be here since it was the first weekend Dollywood was open for the year. And he was hoping to keep it a surprise until the parade started but our trolley driver told us! It was an incredible 70 degrees and sunny today, a gorgeous Saturday. However, even if it would have been pouring the rain it still would have been a great day because I SAW DOLLY! She waved at me, and we were in the front. I'm surprised I didn't bust through the tape when I saw her. I think I peed a little!
Hey all~Mommy and I got up around 6 this morning and she had breakfast...yogurt, 1/2 banana, Hot tea. Then around 8:30, she had a boiled egg, sliced tomato, piece of toast with real butter, tomato juice, and Hot Tea again. She is drinking a Sprite now. Vonda and Shawn, Mommy got your cards in the mail today. We'll be looking for all your pics this week to put in her little album that sits by her chair. She looks at it all through the day. Steve and Teresa are on their way up. It's sunny but cold here, had a big frost. Bobbie, did you sleep at all through the night, or did you hear Marleigh everytime she took a deep breath? I asked Mommy if she would like to go to church this evening and she said she would LOVE to. She had me call Georgie to see if she needed a ride. I did and she does.

Our little peanut stayed with us for the first time last night! She is the best thing too. Got up, eat her bottle at 1:30 on the dot, and back to bed she is! I notice all in my house are being very, verrrrrrrry quiet!
Trish, Dad looks the pic of health in that picture-16,17 years ago?
Rita, Mom looks mighty pretty too. Marleigh took a nap with Gramma yesterday too on her bed. Mom went right to sleep with Marleigh cooing at her back.
Mom, if your awake across town, she burped twice for me. Her 30 min. on her side are up and I'm back to bed! Piece of cake!

This is a pic of Mommy yesterday before we went to the Dentist. The other is a pic of the frost frozen on the trees this evening. Bobbie, Monica, and Marleigh came up today and stayed while I went to buy groceries. I bought Mommy a little photo album for all the pics you send her. They are for 4 X 6. She ate good today and turned in for the night at 8:00. She asked me if I was going to sleep with her tonight and I told her yes and to not hog the bed. She laughed and said she wouldn't. Gonna turn in, we get up before the roosters. We plan to go to church tomorrow night if she rests tomorrow. I'm gonna take a nap with her, especially after getting up at 5.

Lonnie's harmony was way better than those Stanley Brothers. Haha Granny is becoming quite the little runabout isn't she. We are going to have to get her and Rita one of those BArney Fife Motorcycle-moped deals for the summer...Does anyone have a visual on that one? LOL Love to all- I f anyone needs a bed, we have two extra here.
Hey Ya'll. This is me and Mommy checkin' in. We went to Beckley today and you should've seen Mommy pushin' that buggy thru WalMart. After going to the Dentist today, Mommy and I was starved to death so we went to Bob Evan's for breakfast. She ate a biscuit and gravy, fried potatoes, about 4 bites of my cheese omelet and 2 cups of Tea. She's becoming quite the Tea-aholic. But she licked her plate clean. We went to WalMart and bought her 10 (yes that's right) pair of knee highs for when she wants to get all dolled up. Then she bought her a new nightie and a duster (I don't know why they call it that either). She bought her some peppermint patties and it was the funniest thing. There were 3 different kinds. She squeezed all of them to make sure they weren't hard and she picked out the softest one and bought the freshest bag!! We came home about 1:45 and she had been up since 5:15. I got her to lay down for awhile but she didn't stay long. We just ate supper (dinner, depending on where you live) and this is what we had, just in case you hear of an explosion on Backus Mtn.
Pinto Beans, Fried Potatoes, hanovers (freshly dug), pickled corn, raw onions and Cornbread. Mommy ate good. I told her we would have to open the window tonight and she just laughed. Bobbie~Ya'll can have leftovers tomorrow, there's plenty.
We are watching the local news and eating peppermint patties. Bobbie is coming tomorrow and possibly bringing Marleigh and her Mommy.

It looks nice and warm there. It's nice and warm too but I'm stuck inside cramming for my organic test tomorrow. I told Grandma that and she said it wouldn't hurt for her to send me up some extra prayers. That is surely true!!! I can use all the help I can get.
Yes, I do get to hug on her and snuggle with her at night. Blain's jealous too. LOL I told her who was coming in this weekend and she is already counting on it. We have devotions every morning and we are reading Job now. I told her about Steve hunting a job and we stopped right then and prayed about it. I told her that Trish was having surgery and we stopped right then and prayed about it. If I asked her what she wanted for supper, we would probably stop right then and pray about it. LOL She ate a good lunch. Started out eating pizza, then after eating some of it, she said she didn't like it. I asked her if she liked the egg salad we had yesterday and she said yes, so she had egg salad and a dish of fruit. I tried to give her a Reese but she said she'd eat it later. She is taking a nap on the bed now. I told her I would try to keep the phone from ringing, and she said let it ring, we could sleep tonight!
Yes, Rita if Mommy keeps up this routine she will have to sign up for weight watchers, or get on that 4-wheeler and do a few spins.Rita I am so jealous of you , you get to hug Mommy every day, so while you are at it you better give her one for me and a kiss every day. If you know whats good for you, LOL.The sun is out here also Bobbie and my flowers are starting to come up,So I take it Mommy has a pal now.OK Mommy don't you and Rita get into too much mischief today.
You'uns probably had to git up at the crack of dawn to work that breakfast in your day! We are watching Sesame Street in VA and enjoying the sunshine. It always warms the LR in the early morning. I sent some pics for your album Mom. You should get them just any day. I love you Mom. Rita can give you a big hug for me.
Gramma-ish! Bobbie, you really ought to write! As for Sadie and Grandma, Sadie likes to be near, but not too near. She will slowly come to Mommy and be petted, but she is just so skittish. She lays under the dining room table while Mommy sits in the rocker by the french doors. She will go lay by the couch when Mommy goes to the LR. Just so ya'll know, Mommy ate for breakfast...a yogurt, Graham cracker, tea, pineapple juice, slice of bread with peach preserves, and a boiled egg. We're going to have a snack soon! If she keeps this up, I'm going to have to sign her up for Weight Watchers! Make her count her points! It is beautiful here today and we are looking out at the sunshine and counting the baby calves across the road.
Beautiful pics! What would have been the month for the pics at Lonnie's cabin? And what does Mom think of the dog being in the house? Better yet, what does the dog think of Mom being in your house! Does she want to trail about after her?
Mom was telling me how she got her crop of potatoes last year. She said she "cut all the eyes out of the potatoes and gave them to Dad to plant." She said he didn't think they'd grow. She said "yes they will, plant them." Tell her I am expecting a bumper crop as mine are growing up out of the potato bin! Now where did I put that little paring knife Ruth gave me!
I made vegetable soup yesterday with Rita's green beans and Ruth's tomatoes. Marleigh made her first visit to Gramma's house! I wanted it to smell Gramma-ish for her! Great gramma, if you lived over the hill from us, we could have run you some over on the donkey!
