Paul was writing to the Ephesians:(NI)
"I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." (4:1-3) "Be kind and compassionate ot one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." (4:32) "Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." (5:19-20)
This paints a picture of Mom doesn't it? Momma was the peace keeper in our family. Always on the lookout for a way to be kind. Always the first to forgive. And I have this mini video clip in my brain of her singing snatches of songs and humming late at night while the canner was coming off and cooling down. We drifted into sleep many a night listening to her songs of Heaven. I'm going to miss those soft, warm arms hugging me. And that little kiss on the neck.
