We made it home about 630. Surgery is scheduled for next Friday but not sure of the time until Thursday. Dr Rozower said his would be the easiest case taking one hour. The way he described it scoop it out, tie off the bleeders, then put in a drain. He will come home with the drain and keep it for a week then back to UVA. He was really nice and Danny liked him.
The hematoma seems to be encapsulated so it doesn't create a critical situation. The radiologist told him yesterday that if he felt a sharp pain in the center of it to apply pressure and get his butt (oops! Sorry Livvy and Kaiden) to the ER which would mean whatever's bleeding inside has ruptured and bleeding out. I am just glad to finally get to the bottom of it.
Just wondering so I can plan, when is our next get together? Rita do you think the bench will be here by memorial weekend? Do we have to pick it up?
I saw on CNN that the death toll in virginia was 6 bringing the total from the south to 202. According to the national news the biggest month for tornadoes is May!
Love to all and Danny says thanks to all for the prayers:)
