The best time to get a urine is 3 days after an antibiotic. When on a prophylactic antibiotic you still check the urine because sometimes the urine becomes resistant to the drugs. Or it overgrows the small dose and you have to bump it up. But if mommy isn't taking her meds then she isn't getting enough to prevent a uti just enough to probably grow a resistance.
And as for hospice I have never used them so I am not sure what they do or don't do. But I will call tomorrow and talk with them and find out:). Sounds like mommy knows thanksgiving is coming and she is ready for company! Just wish we all could get over our bugs so we could go visit.
