As I scroll through your life photo by photo I see the infant so wrinkled and red placed in my arms that evening on June 8th almost 18 years ago. The click of a mouse scans too many years I have to go back just for a glimpse of that crooked smile and tussled hair. There you are a toddler trying to catch your big sister following her every foot step even to play football or ocassional dolls. Fast forward to kindergarten-it's hard to believe-there goes my little man, he could care less about me.
Loving to learn, do, and play: Boy Scouts, football, b-ball, hunting; Grandpas, uncles, Dad and yes, even brother.
Friends you made and still have today, who have helped make you the man I am so proud to call my son
This is only a mini marker in your life as you stretch your wings, but will forever be embedded in my heart and mind just like a sting.
Only good things can come to you as you have a solid foundation. Its up to you now Tanner, take the bull by the horn!
Remember that God will always keep you in the palm of his hand and Grandpa Ralph will be watching
When you go hunting or walking in the woods, pick up a leaf or smell a flower, or let a turkey go just because it has young ones-
Listen and you will hear him...
