We're getting heavy snowfall now. We're probably somewhere around 18 inches and counting. If it does this all day, we will surely pass the 2 ft. mark. Nothing is moving here, so needless to say, Blain couldn't get out for work. They don't have power at the mines, so the cleaning plant is down and they aren't trucking any coal. They had a coal truck to overturn on Rt 20 yesterday, but no one was hurt. These are the kind of winters we were having when I met Blain and I STILL let him move me up here. Must have been love.... or something! I've got a fire in the cookstove and I plan to can some vegetable soup today. We were up at 4 and out at 5:30 scraping the driveway.
My little man is 2 today. Happy Birthday Kaiden!! As soon as the road is cleared, we will head to Maplewood. I figure it will be tomorrow afternoon, at least, before I see anything resembling a snowplow. How is it down there in Virginia? Bet most of those Virginian's are ready to move to Florida!
