Oh My Alice!  I am sure the meds you have been on have made your bones soft!  That just sounds painful!  I bet it was right on that old funny bone...which wasn't too funny!  I wish you were close so I could take care of you!  I guess your loving little husband will have to do that!  Sounds like he has done OK so far!

Monica,  how about that daycare!  I have been praying on that...so sad!

I went to the Dr. to get all those fancy lab tests back!  Well he didn't tell me a whole lot but what he did say was that there was NO LUPUS!  So praise God for that!  Pretty much what I already knew, same disease, treat the same way.  The meds I am tolerating.  Yesterday I woke up with a fever of 102...Of course I went to the dr and they have to check everything because you never know if you are really sick or its just a virus...thank the prednisone and imuran for that too!  Just a virus!  My white count had dropped to 4000 which is still normal but starting to get low which means I will pick up lots of little germs and bugs or big germs and bugs!  Usually when I am on prednisone it shoots way up to 15000 which fights those bugs!  The Imuran on the other hand drops it!  But I am feeling fine today and I worked at Frankford elementary school as the nurse!  What a fun day!  Got to do lots of nursing!  You would be surprised at what little kids need,  that are actually needy!  And its not just Barbie Band-aids!  Anyway I feel like God has put me here because he ain't moved me and I am getting so many blessings!  So here I stay until that job comes with insurance! Don't yall forget to pray for that!  I would be in the poor poor house, not even the poor house, I would be in the box next to the poor house had it not been for the Cadle Co and their insurance!

I am not sure if I posted this poem or not so I will post it again.  As I was working on the Mothers Day program for our youth at church I couldn't find anything I liked so I wrote my own!  My youth will each just say a line and go from one to another!  We had such an awesome Mother, its easy to draw inspiration from her and as I look at the other awesome mothers in our family I see how her example has moved right on down through each of her daughters, daughter-in-laws and now the granddaughters and even great granddaughters!  Happy Mothers Day to all you gals!
Love You!!!

When I think of Mother's Day

This is what first comes to mind

Clean clothes dirty laundry

Matching socks?

Cold lunch...with a happy face note

Don't forget my baseball practice

Band boosters!

Fund raisers

Football game

Cheer leading practice

Breakfast lunch AND supper....and snacks

Money money money

My pet... but did you feed him

New dress hair appt make up? Please!

Prom? Yes?

Then when I lay down at night after my day this is what I see

My mom praying for me on her knees, as she does dishes, in her rocking chair

Always thinking of me

Always worried did she make the right choice

Late nights helping me with homework

Telling me no

Telling me yes

Occasionally maybe

Taking me to church

Cheering me on....no matter what I try

Working everyday.........attending EVERYTHING

Mom this is what I will remember this is what you have taught me.

Jesus is important in your life and therefore will be in mine because of the example you have been.  Through him anything is possible as I see in you everyday because of the love and devotion you show me.

"Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates."

Proverbs 31:25-31 KJV
