Beautiful picture of you Momma! I'm praising the Lord with ya! Steve, is that picture looking up the hollow? Do I see the edge of the pines on the hillside? Magnificent picture of light and dark!
Marleigh girl, sorry about the mosquito bites on the forehead! She was helping me gather walnuts last evening. Landon tells us about our boo-boos,"Don't worry, they will go away!" He hit Shawn Micheal today and I made him tell Shawn's mother what he done. She told him,"We DO NOT HIT OUR FRIENDS!" I love these guys!

Teresa and I were helping Mommy with some physical therapy exercises while Rita was in Beckley today, and we were trying to get her to raise her arms. Teresa raised hers and told Mommy to do the same and say "Praise the Lord!" And she promptly raised her arms and said quite plainly: "Praise the Lord!" She did it about three times. The first time I was shocked, and the second time, I grabbed my phone and took her picture. I sent Trish the picture and she posted it. (I am not technically savvy enough to do all that. I was lucky to send the pix to Trish!)

Leaves
You won't have to miss the complaining about all the leaves for long. I'm going to continue that tradition!

So far mom and baby are doing ok, And as far as I know he isn't named after any one. yes, It's the fall of the year , and I miss Dad too, I miss calling home and him telling me all about the flowers and all the leaves he had to get up.I know I told him well the good Lord put them there and he could take them away, and he just laughed, and would say ,I guess.and I miss Him.
Vonda he is gorgeous! ANd he looks so big! Braylon is a unique name. Is he named after anyone? Mom ok?
Bobbie, great minds must think alike! I have been noticing all of the flowers and have thought the exact same thing. I really miss Daddy and all the things he taught me. I am trying to remember them now and I keep thinking there is so much more I should've learned from him. He would've loved this fall season with its warm temps and cool breezes but I can hear him now complaining about the leaves falling and how he would never get them all cleaned up. Then by the time I send the boys to help him he and Mommy would have them all cleaned up and hauled away!

This is Braylon, born last night , weight 7lbs. and 9oz. 20 1/2 ins long. he isnt cleaned up yet.

Are you getting all rested up from your trip to Charleston? Not sleeping all of these pretty fall days away are you? It has been so nice here these last few days, the breeze is blowing and the leaves are beginning to fall. Still sleeping with my window up!
I miss Daddy gathering his flower seeds at the closing of another year. It was one more way of giving away part of himself! Have a blessed day everyone

Afternoon~We made the trek to Charleston this morning to get the staples out of Mommy's hip. They X-rayed her and said everything looked good. Dr. Sop (aka Mr. Hottie) said she was doing very well. The trip, did however, wear her out. She is sleeping now. She slept all the way down there and back, but I guess she missed her morning nap in her chair. He said to come back in 2 months or if she didn't feel like it, to just call him. (I think I'll break a hip and go in her place) We got the results of her urine and it is clear, no UTI at this time.
We have some pics on Ruth's camera but will have to wait until Trish can get them on the blog.

glad Grandma got to go to church! tell her i love her and miss her and will hopefully make it in to see her soon!
zac and i stay super busy! we have both been working and doing school so we have seen very little of each other, much less anyone else. i'm starting educational leave from work in 2 weeks, so hopefully i'll make it in a little more often. zac also starts a new job this saturday that will come with a set schedule, so that will make it easier to plan things and see each other and ya'll.
miss you all so much!!!!!!
