Happy birthday Adam and Corey!
Thank God for good reports on both Mommy and Lonnie!
Zac is almost done with his training at Starbucks. He'll go to full time hours next week. He can make most drinks now...although he says that he's not very good at pouring things fast (lots of spills, lol). And everyone thought I was the messy one.
I have one more week of classes and a week of finals. I've done more work in the past 3 weeks than I have all the rest of the semester! We'll be moving at the end of May to a real HOUSE! Ya'll will have to come visit. =)
Happy Birthday Adam and Corey! Mommy, Tanner and I are at Amy's and Gregs and of course Miss Clara. Lonnie I have been giving Mommy all the updates on you and she was thrilled to get the latest. I am sure as soon as we get home and she gets rested she will come and make a visit to your house. I showed her your picture on the ramp and that seems to please her for the time being. Mommy did OK on the trip up but she wouldn't shut her eyes and take a nap at all. I think she was afraid she would miss something. So she was pretty tired the first day. She has slept at least 12 hours each night. She likes Amys bed and pillow so well that she is taking her pillow home with her. LOL She told Amy she would take that and anything else she wanted to give her! I went to the Cleveland Clinic yesterday for a check up and the doctor said I am in remission on therapy. Which means most of my symptoms are gone. I am still on medication and he said for at least 2 years before they would try to wean me off of it. My lab work was actually better than it has been for 3 years! I am only on 5 mg of prednisone and hopefully will be off of it totally in about 4 months.
Praise God for whom all blessings flow!

Lonnie it's so good to hear you are doing good,See what prayer will do , and we are still praying for a speedy recover. so you keep minding the doctors and Marsha. and you will do ok. '
Happy Birthday Adam and Cory, And hope you have a million more.enjoy your day, and know we are thinking about you .
Lonnie got good reports from the doctors yesterday. The plastic surgeon was pleased, he cleaned up the area and told him it look good. The orthopedic dr. told him he was doing good. His arm looks good the dr. told he could use it because his plate made it very strong. His leg only had the tibia fractured, the dr. said normally both bones fracture but he only had the larger of the two bones fractured. By the xray, you can see alot of boney fragments. So it was broke badly, but it is on the mends. The dr. did not put on any cast, he has given him PT instructions even for his rt leg. Steve has come up to have breakfast with Lonnie, he said they will be going out to the garage to work on a lawnmower. He was looking forward to his visit.

Yum! Spaghetti!
Thank you for using Picture and Video Messaging by U.S. Cellular. See www.uscellular.com for info.
Lonnie, that is a nice looking ramp you got at home. Shawn and your buddies did an awesome job! Looks like your doing good yourself :), that's great!! We did have a good time last night and it was a packed house. It was in Princeton at the Princeton Church of God. I was unaware that Guy had added to his family. He has 7 boys and a girl now. She is 4 yrs old. I also never knew that he is a pastor. He mentioned that he and his wife started a daughter church of another church either in Texas or Tennessee, I can't remember which he said. He seems so down to earth when he talks and it's simple talk. That's the kind I like lol!! Rita, those are some great pics you took. Mom and I couldn't tell that Rita was excited to be there at all :) When we were finding our parking spot we saw Rita parked at the very front beside the handicap parking and then I believe she and Ruth were sitting on the second row of the artist circle. There's just something about gray hair isn't there LOL!!!!!!!!!

This is the ramp that they put in for Lonnie to get in and out of the house. He is more tired today than he has been, I think he is doing too much at times. His first followup is tomorrow in Charleston. His leg looks pretty good we haven't done the dressing change today but we are getting ready to do a bath so I will change the dressing later. Just to let you know for everyone who is sending the cards, he has counted them and they are now taped to the wall so everyone can read them if they want. He told me he did not know he was liked so much. He has been pleasantly pleased. It has lifted his spirits.

Grandma told me one time that--I think she was out hanging laundry maybe? Anyways, she just had a feeling that she would one day marry a man named Ralph that played guitar. I thought that was so neat. =) And I agree with putting stuff like this somewhere where we can all see it. I love hearing about how everything happened.
family history
Bobbi,
That is a great idea about knowing how everyone got saved. There is so much that should be written down. When we were coming home from the funeral I asked mom how Grandma and Grandpa Hatfield came to be in MI. That was just something I always wondered about but didn't ask. I would also like to hear how Grandpa met and courted Grandma. Is there a place online where it can all be compiled Trish? You are the online guru :)

I can't hear the stroll over heaven song without crying anymore. I didn't know that about Grandpa...I'm glad you mentioned it Bobbie!
Mommy said that Daddy was in the coal mines when he got saved. He came home from work one day and hugged her real tight and told her that he had given his life to the Lord. She said it happened before they moved here to Greenbrier county. Of course she started crying when she was talking about it and this morning we were listening to Alan Jackson and he came to the song "Stroll Over Heaven with you" and she started crying. She said thats the song I love to hear.
Does anyone remember the particulars of how Daddy's salvation came about? I was trying, and I can't remember his testimony. Not like I can Mom's! Rita, could you ask Mom about that and tell us what she remembers.
The Bible in Revelations says that we are overcomers by the "Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our Testimony." There is such power in both of these! And I would like to hear each of your testimony! I know you'll need to overcome something, so be thinking about what you would like the rest of us to know about your experience!
My memory is not so good anymore either, and this is something I do not want to forget about my family.
