Thanks Vonda!  Tell Vesta she will LOVE it and that Olivia wants to see pictures of her school too!
So glad the surgery went ok and all is well, we will keep him in our prayers.
Ray just came out of surgery and the doctor said all went well. Thanks for
the prayers
Olivia looks sooo pretty on her first day of school. glad she likes it, Vesta's first day will be next week.

Prayer Request

Please remember Ray Cadle in prayer, I took him to the ER because his pulse rate was in the 30's. We are waiting now for him to get a pacemaker. Homer depends him sooo much and this was quite unexpected. So keep Him and Loretta both in prayer.
As a matter of fact, I DID NOT cry!  Aren't you proud?  I was actually telling them about their trip:)  I don't think anyone recorded the song.  It turned out to be a really nice day.

Today was Livvy's first day of school.  The only frowns were when she had to leave.

Nice! Janet I saw you reading something, I know you can't read something without being sentimental and crying so can you share with us! Did anyone record the song? would love to see that!
Very special memories for them and you guys too!

We surprised Blain's Mom and Dad with a 50th wedding Anniversary Celebration at their church today. We had them renew their vows. It would have been a complete surprise except that they drove by the church last night and saw our cars there. They knew something was up but just didn't know what. Blain and his two sisters went in and sat down right after worship service started and I think they thought that was the surprise...Well, ya'll know Blain...And then after worship service was over, he had the rest of the family (they were waiting in the fellowship hall) to come in and they were a little overwhelmed. They all came to the front of the church except me (I was taking the pic) Their grandaughters and great grandaughter sang at the end of the ceremony "I want to stroll over Heaven with You" accapella, and it was really special. All of Charlie's siblings came except one and she lives in Conn. 4 of June's siblings were there. We presented them with a mini vacation in Pigeon Forge, complete with a 2 night, 2 day stay at the Willow Brook Lodge, 2 day pass to Dollywood, and Dinner and a show at Dixie Stampede...as well as a little cash for expenses not covered. I think they will really enjoy that. It will be in Oct. so they can enjoy the leaves changing in the Smokies. It went off without a hitch (whatever that means). Plenty food and fellowship with their church family as well as their "families". Just thought I'd share. Thank You Steve and Teresa for staying with Mommy so we could take part.
