Good Morning All
Monica just called and it looks like we may get our first grandbaby on March 8th after all(instead of March 14th DRATS!) She doesn't seem to be progressing on her journey out so they may have to help her. Not to worry, they do this everyday! She will know more on Friday. We down here are getting anxious to meet her!
We had a good visit with Mom and Dad over the weekend. I'm glad Ruth and Vonda decided to stay put because it was the worst weather I have traveled in for a while. When we topped Sandstone Mt. it was like a different world! A Blizzard!
I must give credit where it is due! I like following Teresa's visit. All the washcloths, soups and spices are even organized! Oh! and the snacks are in a beautiful basket! I do not seem to have that talent! But we are going to have to watch her when she is around Dad, he said she was trying to trip him! The nerve of her! :)
Rita, I took up the rugs in his bathroom because they kept turning up under the legs of the walker. That is such a small space for him and his walker but I might should have left it outside the door. All day on Sat. he stayed bent over from his chair trying to pick up the rocks out of the floor. I told him when you cleaned this week YOU WOULD SWEEP THEM UP! I know don't thank me! Mom and I didn't know what else to tell him!
He didn't sleep any all day long and he was up 6-7 times that night. He sat down on the floor beside his bed and it was kinda hard to get him up one time. Another time he was coming down the hall by the freezers looking for the bathroom. Elliott had a time trying to convince him that the door outside was not the bathroom door.
Sunday morning he was a different person. He was quieted down and wanted to sleep all day. He understood and talked sense, but he was so tired from all that walking at night and no sleep. Mom said she kept telling him he needed to go to sleep and stop talking so she could get some sleep!
Rita, what a wonderful idea to move the bird houses! Mom loves to watch the birds the birds. The red birds in the trees are so easy to see with the white snowy bottom behind them.
