Ruth you had it pretty close...vermifuge. If you look it up on google you will see that it mostly talks about it being used on cats and dogs. Ha ha ha But then it also says that the chinese use it in all their herbs. Grandma was ahead of her time with the knowledge of the herbs. Actually I think that it is the active ingredient in the medicine they used to give as pills for pin worms. I know I took it once but can't remember the name of it, but I know it made me really really sick and it was purple.
O didn't know that you got off the bus at grandmas and stayed the night. Did you guys walk all the way back to her house, I guess?
