Below is the obit for the gentleman who passed away at Dawson...The piece I sent from the paper.  I found out Monday, that I worked with his sister-tn-law at the Red Cross.  She texted me and told me that he had died and they didn't know what had happened.  She said his best friend had done CPR and brought him back but he didn't last until the EMS arrived.  His daughter is 15 and his son is 21.  Terri said that her sister (Debra) and niece are having a really hard time and would we please pray for them.  I told her we would.  Thanks.
Randy Bernd McCoy

Randy Bernd McCoy, 40, of Prosperity, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010 in Dawson, W.Va.

Born April 2, 1970 in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany, he was the son of Perry Franklin  and Lura Mae McCoy.

Randy was a maintenance supervisor for the Federal Correction Institution. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and anything to do with the outdoors.

Aside from his parents he is survived by his wife, Debra Bolen McCoy; son, Petty Officer 3rd Class Joshua McCoy and wife Deanna of Virginia Beach, Va.; daughter, Cassidy McCoy of Prosperity; brothers, Perry McCoy and wife Vanessa of San Diego, Calif. and Mike McCoy and wife Sheri of Matthews, N.C., best friend, Ray Moles and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 1 to 3 p.m. with a service starting at 3 p.m. in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel, Beckley. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

Friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Dr., Beckley, WV 25801.
