Bobbie, God is good. He is even concerned with the little things.
Are we planning labor day here at the house. That just seems so far away, but I guess it will be here before we know it.
Danny, we are all still praying for you.
Trish, I also like the background for the blog.

Glad to here Danny is finally getting some answers. We will continue to pray that all goes well. Rita, just call when you get the bench.

I second that! Praise the Lord for that report! And this has been filling up since January?
Teresa what did I tell you? Did the Lord not grant your heart's desire about the chestnut tree? Guys, she said to me at Easter, "I'd like to have that chestnut tree down!" He loves us so and He even cares about the little things! I have to tell this because it makes me smile right about now. But, I was looking for some rye bagel chips and could not find them in the many stores we had down here (including the giant.) I looked about a month for them and then we girls were going to take our sisters trip and I specially went to Walmart to check one last time for them and there they were and across the top of the bag in gigantic lettering were the words SPECIAL REQUEST! I laughed right there in the aisle at God's since of humor!
Praise The Lord for Danny's Report!  Trish, the bench should be here by Memorial Day but of course, there are no guarantees.  I will pick it up and I thought, perhaps, Steve could help me get it over there.  As soon as I see it, I will take a pic and send it to Trish so she can post it.
You folks down in VA take cover...or build you a bomb shelter!

Monica, we will continue to keep all of you including of course Kim and Andy in our prayers as these tornadoes continue. I have never heard of so many tornadoes in all the years that we lived in that area as I have this year. I guess the weather conditions have been just right for them. Also, trust me when I say I won't lose sleep over cutting down another tree.
Emily, I love your tulips unfortunately they just don't last very long and I'm glad you liked my kitchen. I'm really enjoying it.

Zac brought me some flowers this evening!

So pretty! They even matched my little milk bottle.

I have a week of classes and a week of finals left, so I'm basically stuck doing homework for the next two weeks. Had a great time this weekend for Easter though! Thanks Steve and Teresa for having us all up...your kitchen is awesome!

Have a good weekend everybody. =)

We made it home about 630. Surgery is scheduled for next Friday but not sure of the time until Thursday. Dr Rozower said his would be the easiest case taking one hour. The way he described it scoop it out, tie off the bleeders, then put in a drain. He will come home with the drain and keep it for a week then back to UVA. He was really nice and Danny liked him.
The hematoma seems to be encapsulated so it doesn't create a critical situation. The radiologist told him yesterday that if he felt a sharp pain in the center of it to apply pressure and get his butt (oops! Sorry Livvy and Kaiden) to the ER which would mean whatever's bleeding inside has ruptured and bleeding out. I am just glad to finally get to the bottom of it.
Just wondering so I can plan, when is our next get together? Rita do you think the bench will be here by memorial weekend? Do we have to pick it up?

I saw on CNN that the death toll in virginia was 6 bringing the total from the south to 202. According to the national news the biggest month for tornadoes is May!

Love to all and Danny says thanks to all for the prayers:)
Trish, so the areas of blood in Danny's chest, is that not considered to be something critical? Is it something they will be able to take care of easily with an easy recovery?

Teresa, I hate yal had to cut down another tree :P I don't remember this at Grandma and Grandpa's but when I was growing up Mom and Dad's neighbor had a huge chestnut tree. We would go over to gather burs to bring home and I always ended up pricking myself no matter how careful I tried to be lol.

The weather was quite harry here again last night for most of the night hours. Around 1 am the news advised a Code Red and said for Pulaski County and Radford to seek shelter. Once again we were at work. As of the 5 pm news they only have one confirmed touch down tornado in Halifax County with 1 fatality. As far as I know there wasn't any significant damage around our area which is good since the town of Pulaski and Draper are still recovering and cleaning up from 3 weeks ago. Well, I'm going to get back to the kitchen. I have pintos in the crock pot, need to make cornbread and zucchini, squash and onions!! Drop by for supper if you like :) Love to all
Thank you Emily for the post. We will be praying for everyone in the surrounding areas. Danny and Trish we will be praying for you both and I hope everything goes well, keep us posted. Also we had some storm blow through on Monday evening and me and Steve came home to find a large limb out of the large chestnut tree in the back yard, so guess what, we have no chestnut tree there anymore. I cant say that I'm going to be upset. I didn't like raking up all those chestnut burs anyway and worrying that someone was going to step on one. Love you all!
Trish, we will be praying for you .and Danny.
Danny and I are on our way to UvA . Our friend who is an emergency room doctor has taken a special interest in danny and stopped by his work yesterday and suggested he get an ultrasound:-) and no he isn't pregnant! Lol It showed exactly what we suspected all along I just wish they had done this before. It is filled with blood. Danny said it looked like the moon with craters. And the craters are pockets filled with blood and they are still bleeding. Due to high risk of infection it will be difficult to drain so... I will post when we know something . David and julie he got your card:) but he can't even hang in there because it hurts his arm! Lol

Thank you for using Picture and Video Messaging by U.S. Cellular. See www.uscellular.com for info.

Tornado warnings for us in Mercer county, greenbrier county and down around Bobby and Andy and Kim. Maybe Meadow Bridge too? Please pray for safety!
