Here are a few more pics of our Christmas session haha. It was Marleigh's bath and bed time so we only got just a few of her smiling. It's been snowing here since noon. I'd say we have 2 inches at least. Michelle, I loved your pics. Do you guys have any hills to go sleigh riding?

Trish~  Emma and Olivia definitely would have fun!

Michelle- Love the pictures.

Steve~  There is a board meeting Monday night if that means anything to you.
Trish, The road is covered but you won't have any trouble. Just take your time. We may have gotten 3 inches on the porch, it looks like. The Hospice nurse is coming back out this afternoon.
Michelle I would hate to post any pictures of our snow, compared to yours it doesn't even exist. Only dusting on the ground...but by tonight I think it will be a different story. Winter weather advisory today. so we should get some good pictures tonight. I can't imagine looking out my back door and seeing a CASTLE! But I think Emma would love it. I can hear her now, TT can we go see the princess that lives in that castle? And play dressup? Janet I am sure she and Olivia would wear that castle out! Sounds like mommy is just going to go to sleep and wake up in Heaven.

when I Wake Up (On Some Glad Morning)
to Sleep No More (Jewels Adorning)
happy I'll Be (Over In Glory)
on Heaven's Bright Shore (Telling The Story)
with The Redeemed Of All The Ages
praising The One Whom I Adore.
when I Wake Up (When I Wake Up)
to Sleep No More (To Sleep No More).

Just like the song they used to sing!

She is just resting up now so she can get ready for her new adventures of praising God!

Jeris last name is "Dorsey"
and I am sending an invitation to the blog to her daughter and her son. Sue is her name and I am pretty sure she can share some memories of her mom and ours! give us another insight of her childhood hopefully!
Rita are the roads to your house bad? I am coming sometime this afternoon. Emma spent the day and night with me yesterday. Jacob spent the night with a friend, Tanner went to a ballgame at West so it was nice. We played with the Wii and watched music videos (she is quite the Carrie Underwood fan) and before we went to bed we had a tea party and read books!
Have a good day folks!
Beautiful Pictures Michelle. Looks very cold there. The Pines are TALL.

Mommy slept amazingly peaceful last night. She had some Cheyne-Stokes respirations (She would breathe deeply, then shallow, then stop) yesterday and in the evening, But when I came and got in bed with her at 1:00, she was breathing evenly and still is. Bobbie and Elliot came about 7:30 and they sat up with her until 1 and then Me and Ruth SLEPT with her the rest of the night. I just told God to wake me if He came to get her in the night. Maybe she'll get to go today :) Keep you posted.

The two tall pines standing alone are Swiss Pines. That is what Grandpa's will look like one day.
Enjoy! Now y'all need to post some.

This is the castle out our backyard. It is about a two minute walk. It is Burg Dagestein, with first recordings about it in the 850's AD. The farmer let me plant a Swiss Pine on those castle grounds for Grandpa when he passed away.

Hey, everybody! I heard someone wanted to see German snow. We had a blizzard two days ago, with more than 8 inches of snow falling in one night, on top of what we already had. You know how that goes. This is the farmer's field right out our backyard.
Trish, the video was amazing!  The song "I'll be home for Christmas" has taken on a whole new meaning.

Monica~ Could you please send us another picture of Marliegh because my kids are not wanting to share the one they got in the card today?  LOL  Olivia wants to wear Marleigh's dress.  She said that it would fit:)  You all looked beautiful!

Love you all!

Trish, I loved the video :)
The Hospice Nurse (Lori) came today and she was wonderful. She washed Mommy's hair and put a Foley Catheter in place. She had some urine retention because everything is slowing or shutting down. She commented that we had created a wonderfully peaceful place for Mommy to rest until she goes home. I told her we were just waiting for the angels and she said, "Oh, they're already here". She said this was a sacred place and she could tell as soon as she walked in the house. Mommy is so comfortable and looks very peaceful. She did say that Mommy is very close.
Trish, the video is priceless, I love it so many memories ,you did a beautiful job, you are so talented in that dept. unlike me , not good at anything I can think off.Glad Lonnie is doing good, sounds like he is all healed up, and Trish you do have some of mommy's gene's ,you just have to figure out which one's they are, Like the rest of us, We have both their gene's .some more than others. That's what makes us who we are.
I have your Birthday present, and will bring it soon.
I am glad you are feeling some better, and hope you can start your treatments soon , and then maybe you can get to feeling really good.Love reading all the memory story's and , Julie I don't think, I will get a hair cut from you, any ways soon LOL. Kinda like my chicken, story remember?
The video of family memories is a beautiful, meaningful reminder of one of the closest, most wonderful families I have ever witnessed in all my life.
Taking the trip with you down memory lane this morning was priceless. Thank you Trisha.
Love sent to all of you today.
Julie
Trish, the video, it's beautiful!! More tissues please...
Sorry about that! I cried the whole time I made it and it took me two days! I have tissues in every room. According to Sue, and she got this info from her Mom and the thompson book that Mommy has, I think. That was born 1896...sorry about that.
And Jeri said the thinks that they did marry brothers or at least cousins. Not sure what Jeris last name is. I will call Sue today and find that out.
I am supposed to get some results today...or at least thats what they tell me. But just like the weatherman, when a doctor tells you a certain day it probably means a week or two later. But trust me i have all their numbers and as you all know I KNOW how to use the phone. And if that doesn't work I know the way to their doorstep. I talked to Lonnie this morning and he was in Clarksburg heading to Morgantown for a meeting on a cell tower that he is going to do. He is definately branching out! BEfore you know it he will be nationwide then global. I can see him now sitting in A piece of big machinery in Africa or down in S.America digging a hole and moving dirt! LOL If I know him he would move it all the way home and make millions on S. America dirt..He is so much like Daddy its kind of scary. I just wish I could say that I was so much like Mommy but I don't think I got that gene! blog more later, y'all have a good day.
Trish
I have your B-Day present, just forgot to give it to you. Will send it when someone is coming your way. Sounds like you had a good time at Emily and Zac's. That was probably better than going out to eat :)
Trish: Rita watched the video, but she will have to buy some more tissues before I can watch it.

I read the information about Mommy's birth family, and I have some questions:

1. Lurana's birthdate cannot possibly be correct. It says she was born in 1926, but Mommy was born in 1923.

2. Did Violet and Martha marry brothers? Both of their last names are Wolfe.

3. What is Jeri's last name?

Do you have any idea when you will get your test results?
So I have enjoyed reading your alls memorys! Jacob is upset because he didn't get to do any of that stuff. By the time he came along there were no more grandkids his age. He moved on to the great grandkids and most lived out of town. Thanks for the birthday wishes. We went to Emily and Zacs this evening and she and zac cooked Spaghetti and garlic bread. It was good! Started snowing and the roads were really slick til we got to Hinton. I took a stroll down memory lane today and made a video. It is eleven minutes long so if you want to watch it get a box of tissues and sit down. Mommys sisters, Juanita, Jeri, and Blanche all called and sent Mommy their love. And they all declared what a great sister she had been through the years. Jeris daughter Sue gave me the names of the family that has gone on. She has only two sisters left, of her birth family, and that is Hazel and Jeri-twins! They are: her mother Lurana Mae Bowen-this is how it is listed on head stone, B-07/26/26 D-7/16/71 Violet Wolfe Martha Wolfe Woodrow Taylor Bernice Dickens Maxine Smith Hazel Goodson Geraldine Harry (Gene) Holstein One set of twins-dead at birth Mommy also had a twin brother that died at birth and hazel and jeri! Wow 3 sets of twins. I am finished with my IV antibiotics. Still waiting on the ENT to tell my what the culture shows that he took and the CT scan of my sinuses. Wont be able to get my chemo til after he gets the report.
Donna Witt said she had the farm fixed up for people if anyone wanted to stay there when people started coming in. Some did that when Daddy died. Hope you all enjoy the video. I know I don't have everyone in it but I had to work with what I had.
Love ya,
Trish

Evening
Everything is still the same here. Addy came up today and stayed with Ruth while I ran to Beckley to the bank. Steve and Teresa came up for supper and Pastor Butch and Judy came up this evening.
