Monica, you know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words! Marleigh is speaking volumes in those pictures! Her facial expressions are hilarious and adorable! Her cheeks are at that cute pinchable stage.

Hello Michelle, you'll have to post a picture with you in it as well!! Marleigh had her first jar food today....Pears :p I think they might have made her jaws tingle because after the first taste she started laughing uncontrollably. It was a hoot!!

Michelle, We wouldn't mind having the recipe either. Better Yet, You could just make it and send it Airmail =P
Michelle, great to see you and the girls on the blog! And you are able to post pictures too. This is the best way to share them with us, much faster than sending them via CD or attached to email. Girls, Mamaw and Papaw love and miss you. Love the picture of you all in Paris. Michelle, Mom needs the beef and broccolli recipe from the Island Cookbook. She is now eating beef and can't wait to try that recipe again. Hotter than Hades here too today. Must be near 100. Cut the grass today and boy, was I wringing wet when I finished. Love you all.
Hello Michelle, Joe and Girls
Good to hear from all of you. Joe, would love to hear from you and how things are there! Hotter than Hades, I imagine!
Grandma looked at the pics Michelle. She is doing better today. I say Better, because yesterday, things were not so good. Yesterday her BP dropped to 78/44. That was with her feet up. The Home Health Nurse was almost here so we just gave her Sprite to drink and it came back up. She called the Dr. and she told us to only give her half of the BP med we are giving her now. So far today all is well. I am giving it to her at night, and then taking her BP frequently throughout the day. She has been more alert today and has eaten well. Bobbie came up today to spend the day and Mommy has been awake most of it. We had a storm today....wind, rain and then sunshine. Beautiful day.
Mommy watched Dirty Dancin' today and said she liked to watch them dance. I think she liked watchin' Patrick Swayze!
Since I made it onto the blog, I am trying this picture of Joe and the girls at the Louvre in Paris. Aleya is on the left, Tarin in the middle, and Toria on the right. This was in May of this year. Love to all of you, and I hope I do this right. Michelle

Michelle you can email all of your posts if that would be easier. Its under settings then go to mobile or email I think.
Tell all the girls hey from Dawson!!
Monica, the taller one is Becca and the other little girl is Trina! I have pictures of you all climbing grandpas apple trees too! I remember they were soooo thrilled with all of the trees! Shala was a toddler and Brent was just a newborn! Sorry Mimi but you weren't even around yet!
Hello from Germany! We read about all of you all the time, and love it. Grandma, we love you so much and pray for you all the time. Amy, congrats on the baby. Joe is in Afghanastan, but follows the blog. The girls are doing great and are learning some German. More later, as I try to figure this out. Man, I hope I don't send this to someone else's blog! Brooks Hocevar

Here are a couple of pictures of our latest addition. The delivery went pretty well - out in one push! So my recovery has been great and we are looking forward to taking him home tomorrow!
Amy, Greg, Clara and Brooks
Congratulations to the Hocevar/Cadle family :) Looks like Clara is calling her peeps to let them know about her little brother! He is beautiful! Marleigh had her 4 month check up yesterday and she weighs 14.5 lbs and is 24 3/4 inches long. Already 2 feet tall!! I can't believe it. We get to start her on jar food now. I wasn't able to make it to the store today so we will go in the morning and stock up. Trish, who are the two little girls in the top picture beside Addy?

some old and 1 new!

grandkids!
We will be praying that all her circuit's work.
Rita,
this is a trick we had to use in the nursing home at times.
Sometimes because pureed is still not enough, we would use baby food!
It is not only pureed but also strained and there is absolutely noooooo lumps!
Just a thought! It worked wonders on my patients! She doesn't actually need a lot of calories right now and you would be surprised about the portions as well.
It might be worth a try. You will probably have to season it up a bit for flavor but the consistency is wonderful!
Good Morning
Congratulations to you Amy and Greg, Miss Clara and all the grands and Aunts and Uncles. He looks like a perfect baby. I am glad it is overwith for you Amy. How many great grandchildren does this make for Mommy? I have lost count.
Mommy is having trouble sleeping at nights. She naps mostly in the mornings, so I don't think she has her days and nights mixed up but it seems like she can't get comfortable after about midnight. I think it may have something to do with her sleeping on her stomach. She sleeps on her side for the first half of the night, then when she turns on her stomach, she is up the rest of the night. Doesn't matter how many times you turn her on her side, she goes right back. She use to sleep on her stomach all the time. She is also reverting back to the way she was eating when she was in the hospital. Can't remember to swallow, spits out the food, holds it in her mouth...that is our present biggest challenge. Ya'll pray that she will remember how to eat. Hey, she remembered how to pee again!!
She LOVES watching I LOVE LUCY! She did really good with the OT this week. She worked a wheel with her arms for about 20 minutes. She TOLD us she had to go to the bathroom this morning. That is the first time she has told us she had to go, and she REALLY had to go. It's like we take 2 steps forward and 3 back. Talk to ya'll later.

Congratulations Greg and Amy, and Big sister Clara, Baby Brooks is a Handsome Dude!

Trish~Unless Kim is hangin' out at the kiddie pool, we haven't seen her-LOL! No really, where is she staying? We are at Landmark.

Way to go grandma! I called the house yesterday several times and by the third time when I heard,(laughing) "We're just getting grandma off the potty, " I said, "Is that all you all do?"It was pretty funny!

We are having a good time here. Took the kids to Family Kingdom last night. Both kids wanted to ride the big roller coaster- which they don't meet the height requirement for. LOL

Mom~ I have to agree with Monica on that one about the beans! Save some for my family cause you know they aren't going to get any if I have to cook them:)

AMY & GRAG~ Congratulations! Post some pictures. Glad to hear that all is well. Hard to believe that Clara is the big sis!

I don't know about you all, but I am kind of glad for mom's pep talk (lecture) about the blog. I like keeping in touch and hearing what's up with everyone! Love you all!
