The poem from Vonda

Mom's chair really looks nice, she looks like she is enjoying it too.

 

Mommy got her a new chair today. We took her to the furniture store and tried it on for size. The overbed tray fits under it nicely and she can get in and out of it easily. We took her out to eat at Bob Evan's and she ate good. She ate more bread today than I have seen her eat in a long time. They were soft and hot with lots of butter. Blain ordered a piece of coconut creme pie and she said "That was Daddy's favorite." She is on the couch resting before Amy, Greg and Clara come to see her this evening.

Happy Early Birthday Grandma!!! Vera and her husband are sitting to the right of Grandma.

Wow, It looks like everyone had a wonderful day, so glad Mommy enjoyed her special day. and Mom you sure looked BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a few highlights of our day. Vonda, this is Mommy receiving the flowers from you and David. You can see Ruth reading her the poem. It was beautiful, did you write it? You can also see the 2 silk flowers and I told her what you said. She has been saying all week that Glad Times goes with Sad Times. Mommy came home and went straight to bed, she got up to take her meds and eat a bite and then straight back to bed. Will post more later.

I'm going to WalMart this evening and If I find a good watermelon, I'll get it.

Is anyone bringing a watermelon?

Well , We know what is wrong with Blain, Having to Live with Rita all this time, Is Stressing the POOR Man OUT LOL, Blain We feel for you , Just Kidding, Sure glad it all turned out good so far.Love you All.

Blain did get to come home today. Blood workand EKG was all good. Chest X-Ray was good (Where the Non Hodgkins Lymphoma was). He will have a Stress Test on June 3. The Cardiologist did tell him that he could have a disease of the heart that these tests cannot detect or in his case, damage caused by the radiation. He's more upset that he had to miss work and he couldn't chew while he was in there. He told them he was going to go home and plant potatoes, mow grass and weed eat. I told them that would do more than their stress test anyway. Mommy is asleep on the couch taking a nap waiting on lunch!

They discharged blain today. He is on his way good. Didnt find anything but
did set him up for outpatient stress test

Are they doing test on Blain today? I'll make potato salad, slaw and some puffs. I could get the ice cream for the cake, do we need that?

Blain is being admitted to the hospital for chest pain. He is having a stress
test in the am.

I put those pictures up on facebook and tonnss of people commented on how cute/beautiful she is! The speech pathologist sounds like he'll be really good for her.

I've never packed up a whole place to move (mostly just my room before) and it is not easy! Our landlord took us through the house yesterday and said we could start moving things in whenever we wanted. I'm going over to shampoo the carpets this afternoon and then this Saturday after Grandma's party we're moving all of the big stuff. We're so excited to not have people walking over top of us all of the time and people being loud all over the building. I'll put some pictures up next week after we've got everything in.
