As you can tell from the time of the post and the length of the post I am still jacked up on prednisone but it is coming down :)
Oh My Alice!  I am sure the meds you have been on have made your bones soft!  That just sounds painful!  I bet it was right on that old funny bone...which wasn't too funny!  I wish you were close so I could take care of you!  I guess your loving little husband will have to do that!  Sounds like he has done OK so far!

Monica,  how about that daycare!  I have been praying on that...so sad!

I went to the Dr. to get all those fancy lab tests back!  Well he didn't tell me a whole lot but what he did say was that there was NO LUPUS!  So praise God for that!  Pretty much what I already knew, same disease, treat the same way.  The meds I am tolerating.  Yesterday I woke up with a fever of 102...Of course I went to the dr and they have to check everything because you never know if you are really sick or its just a virus...thank the prednisone and imuran for that too!  Just a virus!  My white count had dropped to 4000 which is still normal but starting to get low which means I will pick up lots of little germs and bugs or big germs and bugs!  Usually when I am on prednisone it shoots way up to 15000 which fights those bugs!  The Imuran on the other hand drops it!  But I am feeling fine today and I worked at Frankford elementary school as the nurse!  What a fun day!  Got to do lots of nursing!  You would be surprised at what little kids need,  that are actually needy!  And its not just Barbie Band-aids!  Anyway I feel like God has put me here because he ain't moved me and I am getting so many blessings!  So here I stay until that job comes with insurance! Don't yall forget to pray for that!  I would be in the poor poor house, not even the poor house, I would be in the box next to the poor house had it not been for the Cadle Co and their insurance!

I am not sure if I posted this poem or not so I will post it again.  As I was working on the Mothers Day program for our youth at church I couldn't find anything I liked so I wrote my own!  My youth will each just say a line and go from one to another!  We had such an awesome Mother, its easy to draw inspiration from her and as I look at the other awesome mothers in our family I see how her example has moved right on down through each of her daughters, daughter-in-laws and now the granddaughters and even great granddaughters!  Happy Mothers Day to all you gals!
Love You!!!

When I think of Mother's Day

This is what first comes to mind

Clean clothes dirty laundry

Matching socks?

Cold lunch...with a happy face note

Don't forget my baseball practice

Band boosters!

Fund raisers

Football game

Cheer leading practice

Breakfast lunch AND supper....and snacks

Money money money

My pet... but did you feed him

New dress hair appt make up? Please!

Prom? Yes?

Then when I lay down at night after my day this is what I see

My mom praying for me on her knees, as she does dishes, in her rocking chair

Always thinking of me

Always worried did she make the right choice

Late nights helping me with homework

Telling me no

Telling me yes

Occasionally maybe

Taking me to church

Cheering me on....no matter what I try

Working everyday.........attending EVERYTHING

Mom this is what I will remember this is what you have taught me.

Jesus is important in your life and therefore will be in mine because of the example you have been.  Through him anything is possible as I see in you everyday because of the love and devotion you show me.

"Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates."

Proverbs 31:25-31 KJV
We will be keeping Alice in our prayers,Love you guys

Happy Birthday Clara!!

I have a prayer request.  A friend of mine has a daycare here in town.  From what little we are hearing on the news, today part of a shelf fell and hit a child in the head at the daycare.  The child has passed away.  I'm sure she, as well as the staff, other children and the child's family are devastated.  Please keep them in your prayers.
Happy Happy Birthday Claria

I have a prayer request. Jeremy Tinchers house burnt to the ground this morning. He was tanners football coach and will be Jacobs. He is Gladys Perkins Tincher son who worked for danny at the Cadle comp. he has only been married almost a year! Came to see danny the day after he got married which was just like a week before he died. Last year this lady that took care of several nieces and nephews died and these two young men that otherwise wouldn't have had a place to go latched on to Jeremy and his wife and he became their legal guardian. It started in the garage and their vehicles went up in smoke as well. They have lost it all so to speak but they are all ok! Just remember to say a prayer for them!
I worked at Rupert today in the kindergarten classroom! Guess who was my buddy all day! You got it !! Preslee:)

Emily,

Haven't you donated to locks of love before? Is this the second or third time? That's absolutely incredible to me. I don't have the patience to let my hair grow that long. But your hair looks amazing. I agree with Mom, you do look very grown up!

Emily, what a wonderful gift you have given someone!!  I'm sure they will be so happy.  If only they could know where your hair has traveled and what a loving family it has come from :)

Rita, love your porches!!

Trish, love the shirt :)
Emily~  Wow!  Love your hair:)  Mom, Porch looks nice!
I donated my hair yesterday...15 inches. My head feels 10 pounds lighter!

They are the same size except for the offset.  It is 10 X 5...just right for my table.  He got me commercial grade railing for half of what it costs and that was with the posts also.  His brother is a contractor as well, and he went to a homeshow at the fair grounds and picked up all I needed.  We're going to stain it grey.  I wanted black but he said, "You don't want BLACK."  I didn't know I didn't want black.  LOL  It seems bigger because there aren't steps at the back and the front is so open.    Looking for the Bright Red chairs now.  I am looking for a Bistro table and chairs now....the iron kind...for my back porch.
Both patio and porch are bigger aren't they.  They are beautiful!  Rodger did a great job.  You are going to make lots of memories with the grandkids there!

Trish, I'm diggin' the Duck shirt!

Hey everyone, good report at the doctor:)  Placenta is where it should be, baby is 5.5 lbs (which apparently is HUGE), blood pressure wasn't bad, and as long as he turns in time, we are on track for a natural delivery.  We could see him laying on his little arm on the ultra sound.  Can't wait to hold him!

Care to add your branches and help complete the Family Tree

If anyone is interested, help me build the family tree at, http://www.geni.com/family-tree/index . You may have to copy it and paste. I know Addy has already done this and I find myself forgetting who has how many children and grandchildren. Not to add any info that you don't want anyone to know. Most important, I am thinking, is just who belongs to whom, for those of you that are interested. If my memory serves me correctly, I remember Mom saying, at one point, she knew she had 69 children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I find myself, not having a clue what all their names are and which children belong to whom. My bad, just can't seem to keep it all straight. Thought this might be a good idea where EVERYONE CAN ADD OR CORRECT and keep us all up to speed. Especially since you young'ens are continuing to keep up the family tradition and more and more branches are being added. You may have to create a password etc. but let me know what you think! Again, please feel free to correct any errors that I may have already made. Love to all, Timmy, Cindy and Justin

Love the story about Colin:)  Amy, too funny on the menu.  Couldn't quite tell what Clara was saying in the video, but my how she is growing.

We go for an ultrasound tomorrow evening.  Here we are at almost 33 weeks.  Doesn't seem possible.  Won't be long and he will probably be kicking me on the outside if Kaiden teaches him his power ranger moves. lol  Say a prayer that all is good with baby and mommy's blood pressure.  I really want to finish the year with my kids at school.  Everytime I am not 100%, they worry that I will leave them.  Monica & Addy, I am pretty sure none of us want to relive that surprise visit the last time I was on bedrest.  Talk about HIGH Blood Pressure.  I can't believe you two didn't put me right into labor. lol

By the way, thought we had a name picked out.  Had t-ball games and there was a kid that drove Matthew and I crazy that day with the name Alex.  Guess what?  That's out! So we are back to square one!
I think Clara needs to work on her S-P-E-L-Ling!

Greg and I went to dinner last night and ramps were in 3 dishes on the menu! What's next- rutabagas!
How Precious!

Facebook post for you NON facebookers :)

I have had the best evening with my nephew Colin! Just hanging out and catching up. We are driving down the road and I ask him, "Colin, whats your favorite song?" If you know Colin, he loves music and has a large vast supply. Every genre, from Michael Jackson to Michael W. Smith! So he spouts off a title which in the first place I am amazed because I thought he liked so much he could never pick just one! I didn't understand what he said so he repeated....a few times. So I say, "let me check my iphone I have some of his music" It was burnt cds that had just track numbers, no titles! So here we go one by one to see if its THE song. Track 6 starts and he says thats it thats it "My Place In This World" So we turn it up and he is jamming in his off key, muttery voice but the lyrics he is singing is coming from way down deep. And he knows every word! I haven't listened to this song for a long time so of course I am crying and we have it way loud- he is playing it on piano on his side, I am conducting on mine! For those that know Colin, you know his struggles in life. He has down syndrome and I am sure has wondered about his PLACE in the world! I thanked him for reminding me of this beautiful song and the fact that YES we ALL have a place in this world!

My Place In This World

The wind is moving
But I am standing stil
lA life of pages
Waiting to be filled
A heart that's hopeful
A head that's full of dreams
But this becoming
Is harder than it seems
Feels like I'm
Chorus:
Looking for a reason
Roaming through the night to find
My place in this world
My place in this world
Not a lot to lean on
I need Your light to help me find
My place in this world
My place in this world
If there are millions
Down on their knees
Among the many
Can you still hear me
Hear me asking
Where do I belong
Is there a vision
That I can call my own
Show me I'm

This is the picture Janet was talking about. Lorie sent it to me. What a gem it is. Do you recognize that little girl? Miss addy!! That was in our first house at Dawson. The one where the wind blew outside and the curtains moved inside;)

David it's funny you mentioned daddy's sayings. Jacob read the one I stitched for y'all "can't never could but try was a pretty good dog" he said what does that mean?! Lol
The one he always told me was "sis your in the light" ok I got the picture! Move out the way! I really miss him in the spring! it's so easy to imagine him in the yard! doing trimming planting digging mowing and weed eating And telling me he ain't planting no garden and in the same breath asking me to pick him up 15 different kinds of seeds. ;)

I went to the doctor Tuesday and she tells me 4 more weeks of the high dose steroids before I can consider backing down. She said hmmmm you don't look like a prednisone patient yet! Then she tells me 6 weeks you will! Welcome back round face and cheeks out to my nose. I haven't slept for 3 weeks. I lay in the bed and wait Til time to get up and my brain works all night. And this is WITH a sleeping pill! My sugars running high so I am trying to watch that. All because of prednisone. She doubled the imuran, which is the immunosuppressnt. Goldie did uncle Dave ever take that? Makes me sick. Nauseated and flu like symptoms achy all over and in the evening I get this lovely rash.
I see a rheumatologist at The Greenbrier on Monday. I told her if I could stay here and she treat me instead of going to the Cleveland clinic would be easier but if all else fails to Cleveland I go. I asked her if she thought I was getting lupus and she deferred that question to the rheumatologist. Everything else I have is in that little box of diseases. I remember mommys sister marthie had that and I remember going to visit her when she was so sick and I am sure now right before she died.

I am so excited for these babies to get here! Just think next time we get together at Labor Day there will be a new little Treadway And then another right after! You guys are doing your job with the go forth and multiply! Mommy would be proud!
I have to tell you I watched the best video of marleigh at her church Easter service. I am here to tell you as soon as I can get the clip recorded it will go viral. Y'all just wait!

Love y'all
Don't forget to say a prayer for me Monday! And the doctor:)
