Teresa
I have a treadmill that you can try out.  You can change the incline, speed, and it measures your heart rate. It does alot more than that, if you read the manual!  It is in good working condition.  You know, it ain't like it's worn out or anything :)  You're welcome to use it
Does anyone in the family have a treadmill or stair stepper that you are not using, I would like to get one to try before maybe getting one of my own. I want to make sure I will even use it before investing in one. Thanks

Loved your poem Trish.

Hope everyone is doing well, love you all
He wants us to remember! It's getting easier everyday to remember him and not his illness ! There was so much he loved about life and I see it everyday. I didn't even mention football, red koolaid, pizza. Gospel music! And babies!! The list goes on and on:)
Trish, I remember those things too!  This made me cry and Remember!

Food for Thought

An old Portuguese proverb:

"God writes straight with crooked lines."
Trish , that is so beautiful, Danny would be proud of you.

Dear Danny

I remember you with sunshine and laughter
A twinkle in your eyes, a dimple in your chin
A mischievous heart melting smile

I remember your heart so big, so true, so full of love, so full of forgiveness
Always a kind word, always time for me.
I remember your hands so rough and calloused working in your shop
Creating, teaching, learning, always loving

I remember your arms and how strong they were always ready for an embrace
Ready to give, ready to receive. Whether deserving or undeserving, whether for comfort or love, always ready to give.

I remember you holding Jacobs hands his so tiny yours so big, so trusting.
I remember the countless hours of baseball you would throw to Tanner sitting on a bucket.
The endless hours of "read me a book daddy" to Emily.

I remember the smell of grass as you so eagerly rushed the first grass cut of the year.
Petting Gracie's ears all the while complaining of her slobbers. Rubbing bears chest at night before you would go to sleep. Throwing the cat out of the bathroom so he didn't hog the shower.

I remember peanut butter, had to be JIF! Boiled eggs, Kraft macaroni and cheese, homemade rolls, Kraft cheese by the slice, buttery toast, Mountain Dew, little Debbie's

I remember your compassion for your fellow man. Your willingness to do, to help,
All these things I remember so easily were so much a part of you, and I call on them everyday to make me a better person. I hear you in my head and my heart. Take time for Jacob, be a little lenient while other times "kick his butt". Help Tanner make decisions but don't do it for him, let him stand and make his own mistakes. Emily, help her be who she wants to be, be there for her. Love Zac for loving Emily-his better half. Remind them it takes 3 in their marriage and hope our example was enough here on earth.

I remember the love for your parents as they are growing older and I know you would take care of them. I do that with your love, just as you did for my parents.

I remember your feeble words the night before "I'm Scared" but also your strong words "I am so ready to go Home".

The memories of pain and anguish, sadness and despair are all fading and all I see is your happiness while kneeling in the presence of the King, the place you so longed to go for so long but didn't want to leave us. As you told me many times, it isn't goodbye, it is "I will see you all, my family, when you get here!" We are finding a happy place with your memories, your promises and most of all Gods Grace. Our days are full of life and thanks to you we can see it through your eyes and think this would make Dad happy.

The pulmonary doctor I used to work with dr shamma was racing in the Boston marathon! She was 5 minutes from the finish line when the blast hit. She was uninjured. So sad:(

Greenbrier county was beautiful today!

On the Other Side Video Dailey & Vincent

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=556E2_S52i4
Bobbie you said I looked Healthy and Happy!  Boy are you way off!  They have me on so many drugs for my disease now I cant eat without making me sick and my sugars are high so I am not eating sugar!  So the weigh comes off needless to say.  I am working on being happy.  I know thats what Danny would want its just really hard sometimes..  The first thing I thought of was the song Mommy used to sing "You asked me why I'm Happy and I just want to sing, because my sins are gone! "  I am happy in the Lord so he gets all the glory for the make over, but I have to say thanks to Janet, Mary Kay gets a portion of that too!
I will share this story.  Danny has been on my mind a lot this spring as well as Mommy and Daddy and all this prednisone wreaks havoc on my hormones so the tears come always and easy.  I went to Smoot Baptist Church to revival on thursday night.  Nyla Lytle was singing, she picks a guitar and sings bluegrass style.  I sat with her and asked her what she was sining and she said she didn't know yet.  So when she got up to sing she sang her first song then she said God was telling her to sing a different song.  She started picking it our trying to find the right key and I just started crying.  It was Dannys favorite song his last few months "on the other side" by Daily and Vincent and of course we played it at his funeral.  Of course when I testified and told this Nyla just said I had no way of knowing, but God did and it felt really good to cry with friends and God.  The only reason I went to church was because Jacob went fishing and I didn't want to sit at home by myself.  You guys continue to pray for my health and happiness.  It is coming along.  I find reasons to praise God everyday.  I have had 2 really fun days with Rita and hopefully I will get a job out of it.  Already got some good thrift store finds!  Yea!!!!
Love you guys,
My next step is to see yet another specialist.  My numbers are in the lupus family:(
Trish
Monica, We don't look too shabby for 2 Old Great Aunts, huh??  We clean up "purty good", wouldn't ya say?

Trish, you and mom look great! I will be praying for that job!

Funny thing, and it might just be my computer scree, but as many times as I've looked at the blog and the picture from Easter, I never saw Reese until just now! She blends in so well with the colors of the wood floors!
Yes, I do see resemblance there! And you look soo healthy too!  Or maybe its happy! Something. . .

The job is at the same place where I got Marcie her job!  It is Gentiva Home Health.  The director is a friend of mine...we went to Nursing School together.  We rode together, she lives at Danese.  She has worked for them for 13 years.  She went on to get her RN.  Steve, have you talked to management of the job I'm trying to get for you?
Trish really looks good, doesn't she?  She is wearing size 8 pants.  I think we look alot alike since we are both growing our hair out, Whadda ya think?
It is for home health nurse  in Greenbrier County. The office is in Summersville but I would work in Greenbrier.  Sounds promising!
You guys do clean up nice! Give, what is the job?
WOW, you guys look great whats the occasion ,only one thing wrong three are missing:)
Whoa!  Rita and Trish, you both look fabulous!

What would the job be?
You guys pray hard! Rita took me for a job interview today. The benefits are wonderful. If I can stay healthy long enough to work it, it's right up my alley.

Full obit will be tomorrow. Phyllis son in law

Janet, I only mentioned Christmas so you would know how current the addresses were.  If any of you ever need brothers and sisters addresses, I have to keep them current for business purposes.

Tuesday, April 9, 2013

Thanks for keeping us updated because sometimes I see these names, but am not sure who they are or if they are related to us.  I appreciate the clarity.  Trish, I will help when you girls do food.  (Mark, hush!)

Ruth, thank you for sending me those addresses.  Very helpful!  However, I noticed that you had to throw in that they were on your Christmas card list.  Was that a hint? lol

Monica, Pinterest isn't time consuming for me yet because I don't know how to use it very well. :)

Bobbie, the basket in the picture is an antique basket that I bought years ago in an Antique shop in Radford.
Goldie e-mailed me with the following family news:
Uncle Linden's second wife died and Cherie is burying her tommorrow.  Aunt Carol had knee replacement surgery and is in rehab.  Debbie yesterday said Carol was having some problem with the recovery.  Aunt Joy is scheduled for surgery on both hands on April 16 for trigger fingers.  Georgia said that Kevin had been hit by a falling tree but his injuries were not too serious.
So very sorry to hear.  Please post addresses for Phyllis and Jamie when you can get them.
I just talked to Phyllis. He was on beech knob logging and cut a tree. It lodged in another tree and when he tried to cut it down it fell on him. Jamie is pretty hysterical. She hasn't been allowed to see him yet and they have sent him on for an autopsy. She said money donation instead of flowers would be appreciated. And I asked her if she would need food and she said that would be great. Rita, Teresa, Marcia , I thought perhaps we could put our heads together and take them some food. Paper products drinks I know that stuff sure came in handy when danny died. Someone even brought me laundry detergent. Things I ran out of but didn't think to buy. Just let me know what everyone's input is. Phyllis just went on and in about what a good man husband and father he was. They used to go to Smoot church but had not been recently. She did say pastor Luchsinger and his wife had been there to see her.
Love to all
I know daddy loved roger and roger was always a big help to him. I can't help but think he and mommy would want us to help them❤

Lonnie's Address:
I just called Phyllis and got voicemail. I told her the family wanted to help in some way so when she calls back I will let you know what we can do. I imagine money would do them more good than say flowers. I also asked her if we could help with food if many were coming in and so forth.
I apologize for that.  Thanks Trish for correcting that.
Phyllis last name is Martin
I just talked to Mary and she told me that Phyllis Pozzie Bryant's son-in-law was killed in a logging accident yesterday.  His name is Frank Bush...it is her daughter, Jamie's husband.  They have 4 children ages, 2 - 15. He was approx 35 years old.  Please pray for the family.   I will post arrangements when I know them.
Teresa, did you also make the big basket with the blanket, in the family picture?

Monday, April 8, 2013

I sent Janet all the addresses she requested as I had them on my Christmas card list.

Sunday, April 7, 2013

Janet, I am not on pintrest.  I don't think I would have time for that.  I barely get my email, blog and facebook checked of the evenings.  Adding another social media to that would probably cause major dysfunction to my OCDness!!  lol  If you don't have time for Christmas cards how do you have time for pintrest???  :)  xoxo  Love ya!!
Monica~  If you had bothered to notice...my son keeps me pretty busy.  With two boys, don't count on one next year either.  Haha Love ya:)  Are you on pinterest?
Janet, if you bothered to send out Christmas cards you would've already had these addresses :P  xoxo

Janet
TT, hop e you feal bettr.  Love you, LIVVY
I just left the emergency room. I have been fighting this disease for about six weeks now. My auto immune disease is full blown. She thinks the hand surgery triggered it. She told me if I would stay home from work and rest she wouldn't admit me. So off to bed I go. I, unfortunately will begin the high dose of steroids again. So that 70 pounds I lost....I will probably find. Also starting a new immunosuppressnt. So you guys pray hard, marleigh ,Clara , Olivia , Kaiden, all you little guys that means you too!

Whenever I was little, power outages meant heading up to Grandma's. For some reason she always had power when we didn't (and if she didn't, she had the stoves). I remember Daddy's car got stuck at the bottom of the hill and me and Tanner walked up and ate Jell-o and watched movies with Grandma while they dug it out.

I think winter might finally be done in Morgantown. Looks like 60s and low 70s for this next week. I have all of my finals this coming week, then our spring break, then back for another month and a half before summer.

Love and miss you all...have a good weekend everybody!
I hate that we missed Easter, Sounds like you guys had a nice time.

Trish, I enjoyed our surprise visit yesterday:) Hope you are feeling better!

Bobbie, I will post pictures of us in sweats on the beach.  haha  The one day that it was warm, we all got a little sunburned.  oops!

We had a nice, relaxing time but the trip back was...interesting.  To sum it up, these are the texts that were sent on the trip home.

Janet~ (1pm) We are headed home, been on the road about 3 hrs.
Monica~  Be careful coming home, it is sleeting here.
Janet~ Where r u? Home?  It's 38 and raining here but I have no idea where we r.
Monica~ I am at work but it it supposed to change to rain later in the day.
Janet~ (2pm) Ice here
I took about an hour nap until Monica woke me up.
Monica~ Our rain turned out to be snow everything is covered be careful coming thru va
Janet~ (3pm) uh yeah, two inches on the interstate and we are stuck in traffic
Monica~Where at
Janet~ (4pm)The wreck was about 45 min s of wytheville but now we are in a snowstorm
Monica~ :(
Janet~ (8:30pm) Almost home...Sandstone was shut down and a mess.  That 7 hr trip only took us 10.5 hrs

Needless to say, it was a LONG trip for this pregnant girl and Matthew has something against stopping to pee.  Thankfully Kaiden finally said, "Dad you better find a peeing place because I gotta go bad!" lol

Hope that gave everyone a good laugh for the day!  Love you all!

Mom~  I am pretty sure that I would never have done something like that unless Addy put me up to it.  She was bold at a young age.  lol  Yes, I did call because it had happened for three days in a row. I can't remember who the weather man was, but I think he quit not long after all that.  lol  If you are going to describe the memories of power outages, it simply cannot be done without talking about the washtub, hours of monopoly, yahtzee and rummy, as well as HIKING up to feed the cows.  Now those are memories!

Friday, April 5, 2013

There were a few new faces Ruth.  My sister and her 3 kids were with us and my brother Curtis and of course my mom which you have seen on many family occasions.
Monica, You remind me of Grandma Treadway with your sense of humor.  I am also, reminded of a time when my girls were still home and we had experienced a blizzard that year.  Well, Shortly after that, we had another "threat" and so as we were watching the "weather man, aka meteorologist" he GUARANTEED that we were due, at least, 18 inches+, or some such number.  Well, of course, people cleared the shelves at Walmart, bought up all the gas their last dime would afford, and PREPARED for yet another dump!  When we all woke up the next morning and expected to "not be able to see out the window", all we saw was a skiff (that means light dusting) of snow.  And that was all we got.  I believe, and I know the girls will correct me if I'm wrong, it was JANET (only because Addy wasn't old or bold enough yet) who called the TV station and told them that she thought the weather man was "an idiot".  She obviously wasn't the only one because that evening on the news, there was a picture of him with a target on his face.  Seems he had received SEVERAL calls for that "GUARANTEE".  Even I, couldn't believe a weather man would have that word in his vocabulary.  Well that is my funny for the day.  Girls, I'm sure I didn't get it all right, but I DO remember, that I couldn't BELIEVE Janet would do that!! Janet, do you remember his name? He was a regular back in the day.  I DO have alot of fond memories of us all being snowed in...it involved board games and ALOT of home cooked food, playing in the snow and power outages.  I don't remember the power outages being such a big deal then.  WE melted snow on the cookstove to bathe and lit candles and such. Cooked on the cook stove... those were some good memories.  So the next time you are stranded at home with no power, remember, it just might be a blessing in disguise!

Thursday, April 4, 2013

Funny Monica, I think our spring that sprung had a leak in it!  Elliott said we had 5+ inches!  Soo, beautiful! When my mommies were later than usual we had a great discussion on how God makes that floating snow too!  God makes the wind, rain, thunder and the clouds and God makes the snow too!
So Mom, I believe you would be the cause of the snow that we are getting on this beautiful spring day!!  Thanks for speaking too soon LOL  :)  There was a guy at work complaining this evening about the weather man getting our forecast completely wrong.  A lady we were talking with spoke up and said, "That's just God showing you HE'S in control."  That couldn't be more true.  I watched the 5 o'clock news for a weather update and the satellite imaging they were showing for 6:30 this evening wasn't even showing snow around us, still looked as though everything was all rain!!  Had I not just been outside to clean our Dish off and gotten smacked in my eye hole with a snowflake the size of my hand I might would've believed that :)  Janet, I hope you all are making better progress now :)  Love to all
Teresa:  There are a few people in the Easter picture that I do not know.  Are they your family?

I think spring has sprung!  At least for us anyway.  I see 70's in the forcast and I just can't hardly wait.  I told my kids I am going to get our play space up and running for us this weekend. Yeah!

Janet where are the pictures form the beach?  How did your trip go?

Monday, April 1, 2013

Hey Everybody!

Sorry we didn't make it on Saturday. We missed seeing everybody. Paul's mom had dinner at the same time and my sister-in-law doesn't make it in very often. I heard there was some good food though!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! Monica, I really enjoyed Mar's pictures on facebook! I showed Paul and I think he is ready for you guys to visit again!
Sunday morning Paul took me to MedExpress for a sinus infection and double ear infection. I guess I was overdue. It seems like I am always sick on every other holiday and I made it through Christmas this year just fine.
Since I am on spring break I have been spending some time on Pinterest trying to find recipes I want to make for the week. I have to say that I have found two that are definite keepers! Both recipes are really easy! The pictures are mouthwatering!
Scalloped Hasselback Potatoes-If you decide to make these just be careful when you cut the potatoes because if you go too low everything will run out.
Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken-Paul is such a picky eater and he LOVED this! I even prepared it ahead of time and kept it in the fridge until I needed to bake it. Didn't hurt!

Cindy, how are you feeling?

Trish, so glad to hear Jesse is doing better? How about Elmer? Also, Paul had mentioned there will probably several aide jobs open up since pre-k/headstart is mandatory now! That's a plus!

Ruth, I never remember the name of that symbol!

Love you all!

Yes, Rita that sounds about right to me.

Bobbie, I thought is on the left, then Naomia's daughter, Sharon and then ME (Timmy) on the right! I do know that she asked Mom if the dark cow is the on that we got chocolate milk out of...so needless to say, she must have been from the city...does that sound right, Vonda?
the little girl is Sharon , Naomia daughter, and the others are some of the older kids at home.Mommy was letting her try to milk the cow,and one of the kids was holding the tail for her .

Milk cows

Does anyone know who these people are?

Timmy here, just a quick note! First to correct my spelling! There procedure that Cindy had yesterday was a "Cardiac catheterization (KATH-eh-ter-ih-ZA-shun) is a medical procedure used to diagnose and treat some heart conditions." (Copied this from google.) Anyway...the procedure went fine. We spent most of the day at the hospital and the Doctor said that her heart was totally normal, not one thing out of the ordinary. He said that her chest pains were, "totally a result of stress"! And before any of you get any ideas, no it's not me causing it. Anyway, she is quite sore this morning and the ride home made her quite sick to her stomach so we are not going to try and make the trip up there this morning. We will miss you guys and hopefully see you soon. Love you and hope you all have a wonderful day, wherever you find yourself spending the day. Timmy, Cindy and Justin

Jesse

Hi Clara! I will be there tomorrow!! :)
Just waiting on TT for a tea party

Good Morning everyone! Timmy here, just a quick note! Some of you may already know, Cindy has been having complications with her heart and as a result of a follow up visit with her Cardiologist yesterday, he immediately scheduled her a heart cauterization this morning. As I understand it, an all day event. We we be heading to the Radford Hospital shortly and depending on the results of their find, will determine if we go from here directly to Roanoke for surgery. We had planned to be home tomorrow, with the two grandbaby’s....we will see. Love you guys and desire your prayers. If any of you guys want to drop me a text or call, I will have my phone.. If I can figure out how to access the blog with my phone, I will try to keep you updated. Haven’t done that before so may have to get one of you (Tech Guru's) to help. Love and miss you guys! Timmy, Cindy and Justin

Update on Jesse

Hi all, I am in Roanoke with Helen. Jesse was moved to a step down unit last night and he is doing amazingly well. He knew there wasn't a race this weekend because it was Easter weekend. Eating and drinking good! The doctors are amazed! God has answered prayers! You Gus continue to pray for Helen to give her strength! Love you all! I plan on coming home around noon Saturday so save me some chicken:). Addy are you making dumplings to go with that chicken? I might be making chicken Alfredo, I have to check with Amy! Lol

Love to all, by the way our church is having an Easter egg hunt at the Cadle farm from 2-4 with snacks and prizes so hopefully we can go to that!.

My hands are improving. Still not full strength, that will take months unfortunately! I have been having some terrible shoulder and back pains. I went to see the dr yesterday and he said I have a rib and a hip out if place! He is going to start working on me next week to try and get it back in place. He also said it would be quite painful. So if you have a spare prayer say it for me. I am in tremendous pain😕

History of the Ampersand

Ampersand

[am-per-sand, am-per-sand]

This strange punctuation mark has a fascinating past. The ampersand emerged over 2,000 years ago as the Latin word et meaning "and." The cursive writing of Latin scribes often connected the "e" and "t," giving rise to the shape of the ampersand. The name did not appear until the 1830s when "&" was the 27th letter of the English alphabet. The mark concluded the alphabet with "X, Y, Z, and per se and" with "and per se" meaning "and by itself." This final phrase was slurred by English school children during recitation and reborn as "ampersand."
I'll do some macaroni salad, slaw and deviled eggs and a dessert.  See ya soon!
Trish:  How is Jesse?

How are your hands since the surgery?

Wednesday, March 27, 2013

Hey Ya'll.  Just need to clarify our dinner plans.  We are NOT making breakfast at 9:00 and dinner at 12:00!!  That was just a suggestion as an alternative to dinner.  We are having dinner ONLY, at 12:30 sharp!  Main menu...Chicken!!  I will make scalloped potatoes and mashed potatoes!!  Marcia is making her famous rolls.  Teresa and Amy are providing the chicken and Teresa is making a pot of Green Beans.  Andy and Kim are bringing drinks.  Kelsey is bringing cupcakes.  For the rest of you who are planning to come, please let us know what you plan to bring.  It is hard to provide a meal when we don't know what the rest of you are bringing.  Thanks and we hope to see you there.  If you can't come, know that you are missed.  Love you All.

I think that pretty well sums up the PRIDE factor,Sure fits a few people I know!!!

10 Signs That You Have a Pride Problem

This was in our sermon on Sunday, Man Up.  Pastor Joe was speaking on Sampson.  I thought it was interesting.  I know God hates pride.  Is there such a thing as "good" pride biblically speaking?

10 Signs That You Have a Pride Problem

You struggle submitting to secular or spiritual authority
•You struggle accepting correction
•You struggle admitting you were wrong
•You struggle changing your mind
•You struggle admitting someone knows more than you do
•You struggle learning from someone that’s not as gifted or as old as you
•You struggle complimenting others that do what you do
•You criticize and judge others often
•You blame others for your failures
•You seldom follow rules and procedures

Breakfast

Looking forward to seeing everyone for Easter.  Breakfast sounds like a great idea.  Anyone have an idea on the time or will we stick with the usual 9 am?

Thursday, March 21, 2013

Good Morning everyone, been a while since I have been on here. Anyways....it appears I missed a couple of Birthdays. So.....Happy Birthday to Bobbie and Michelle for starters and any and everyone that I missed. We will be coming in for Easter, (Lord willing) and I love Rita's idea about "Steve's breakfast". If all goes according to plan, Cindy and I will be bringing both grandson's, (Justin and Deagan)! That will be a trip! Love and miss you guys! Steve, what time will breakfast be served! Ole, and Michelle, I had forgotten about being at the hospital when you were born, until Goldie reminded me. I thought that was pretty cool...NOT at the time, lol, but yeah...that was pretty cool. We will see those of you that make it on Easter and those of you that are traveling, Be careful and God Bless as our prayers. Timmy, Cindy, and Justin

Sunday, March 17, 2013

Sounds like everything is coming together for Easter weekend!!  I know you all will have a wonderful time of fellowship and love, as always.  We will miss being with you guys.

Janet, I was pregnant during the fall and winter so I have no advice about pregnancy bathing suits.  However, I can speak for being a "phat" lady and they come in the same prints you mentioned LOL!!   :)  I wear my bathing suit LOUD AND PROUD!!  It has a black background with flamingo pink, purple and white patterns.....I love it :P  I hope it hasn't been to much of an inconvenience for changing the date of your baby shower but I must say I'm glad.  This means that I'll be able to come :)  I would love to take pics at the shower if you haven't gotten anyone to do it yet.  Just let me know for sure.

Rita, someone needs to be disciplined for allowing "Le-a" to even be pronounced that way!!  Addy, Janet, or Cindy...have you ladies come across anything like that in your years of classroom teaching?????

Love to all

Saturday, March 16, 2013

Hey everyone, I was just getting caught up on the blog.   Love all the pictures and hearing about how everyone is doing.  Easter sounds like it will be fun.  I hate that we will not be able to attend this year.  Although, I must say I am looking forward to warm weather at the beach:)  I do have a question for the females in the family.  Is there some unwritten rule somewhere that maternity bathing suits can only come in flamingo print or polka dots?  lol Really?  As if I need to draw attention.

I do need some ideas for those of you more experienced at the Easter Bunny thing and I know that some of you are because no matter how hard we tried, we could never catch him.  lol Since we won't be home on Easter...some of you with creative minds share your ideas:)  Doing the Easter Bunny thing in a hotel is definitely not like being at grandmas, but it will have to do this year!

I think we are going to have to change the date of the shower from Memorial Day weekend.  It is looking like we will do it the weekend before.  Teresa and Trish, we were looking into doing the scrapbook thing like you guys did so I will need your ideas.  Is there anyone that would be able to come that would be willing to take pictures for me???  Emily, I need to book a session with you as soon as the baby is born!  Ok what I really mean is we need to get together, eat and take pictures!  Lol

Kim, if there is anything I can do to help in your new business, let me know.  I have lots of supplies that you could have for doing parties because I don't really have time to do those anymore.  SO excited for you.  I am sure that you will love it:)

Miss you all so much!  Love you too:)
Have a great Day!
Janet
Goldie, Thanks for sharing.

Teresa, I will bring something.  If you can find out for sure, if Marcia is coming and if she isn't bringing rolls, I'll make them.  I will bring baked beans and potatoes of some kind.

O My Word!!!!  After I got up off the floor from rolling and laughing, I just had to share this!  This is a classic!!

IDIOT SIGHTINGHow would you pronounce this child's name?
"Le-a"
Leah?? NO
Lee - A?? NOPE

This child attends a school in
 Kansas City, Mo.
Her mother is irate because everyone is getting her name wrong.
It's pronounced "Ledasha".
When the Mother was asked about the pronunciation of the name, she said, "the dash don't be silent."

I thought a platter of chicken would be easy and I will pick up some roles I can get a few drinks also. Amy you can help out with that if you would like.  Rita you can make baked beans or your great slaw, you can get Addie to make a dessert and if Tim and Cindy come she can bring maybe a potatoe or macaroni salad.  Just throwing out suggestions you guys can put on the blog what your going to bring so no one else brings the same thing.  Trish the kids all love your crockpot meals so which ever ou choose would go with the chicken.  I think since there isn't going to be many of us that wold be good.  I may get Kelsey to make some of her cupcakes and I'll have Andy and Kim bring some drinks also.
Bobbie-you were right I had forgotten about Cindy and Tim saying they were going to be coming, thanks for reminding me.  I have not heard from any of Lonnie's bunch, not sure about any of them.  If you see any of them tell them about it.  Thanks and love you all!

michelle's birthday

For this from Goldie :)

Hey There,
I was at Michelle's Birth. We took Julie to the Hospital in Hinton... Had to take Timmy with us ..He had stayed with us when you all had gone to Artie..We just barely got julie to Hinton...Michelle was in a hurry..The Dr,just got there...
It was quite a day..Julie had walked from our house to the mailbox and back,as she came into the house when her water broke..I was so glad God had lead David not to go to work that day,,,

Love  Goldie
Steve and Teresa, I am not sure we will come yet or not.  If we do, I'll bring food.  I thought I read where Timmy and Cindy had logged in that they were coming.
As I used to say in college "you fly, I'll buy"meaning I will send the money if someone else gets the food...don't make anything fancy for us.
We are not planning to come down Easter.  Have fun without us.
Saturday, the 30th,  Yes, Blain and I will be there.  What can I bring or buy?  You shouldn't have to buy all the food.  We can cook something simple...Brown Beans and Corn Bread, fried potatoes, etc.  Or how  about one of Steve's famous Breakfast's (Brunch) for lunch?  Especially if there isn't going to be very many of us.  What do you say?   It's not about the food, but the time together!  We could chip in on breakfast food!  Just a thought

Easter get together

I still need to know from a few of you who is going to be here for Easter or if you even want to get together at all.  Amy said her and Greg would be in Addie said her and Paul didn't have plans but I think that is the only ones.  I need to know what to do about food if you guys do want to get together. I was thinking about getting a chicken tray from Walmart, rolls and a couple of sides such as baked beans, slaw, potatoes salad, and a few desserts.  Someone could also bring drinks.  I have all the paper goods and plastic wear.  Please let me know if you want to do this it would be Saturday the 30th around 12 or 1.  I need to know the time is drawing near.

I also go tomorrow for a CT scan of my sinuses to make sure there is nothing abnormal going on.  For those of you who don't know I have been without taste or smell since October and the ENT specialist that I went to see doesn't think I will regain those senses.  He just needs to try to find out why I lost them in the first place.

Happy Birthday to Michelle and Bobbie, hope you both have a blessed day.   Love you all!
Happy Birthday Bobbie, Hope you are having a blessed day, Love you .
Happy birthday Bobbie and Michelle! I remember being down on the river when we heard that Michelle had entered the family. Bobbie were you there or do you remember?
Tanner is taking me to Morgantown today for recheck on the hands. It was so snowy they called school off today. I have worked everyday this week and will tomorrow. I got 2 calls during church to work today plus 5 more when I got home! I do believe if a person wants to work there is some kind of work out there!
We are going to pick emily up and have lunch with her before heading back home. Zac is working. I called Lonnie to get an update on the roads before we headed out of greenbrier county because I knew he would be out plowing. He was actually in Fairmont which is only 15 minutes from Morgantown putting in cell towers! So I called the next in line: Bobbie shawn. It's nice to have people that know everything! I think for any problem I have there is someone in my family that knows the answer❤
So here's a problem for you mechanics out there, Bobbie be sure And ask Adam and Corey! I filled my windshield washer up in my car and nothing comes out. The wipers wipe but nothing comes out in either the front or back. It isn't stopped up or frozen. Any ideas?
Happy Birthday Michelle!!  I wish you many more and an extra special day!
Happy Birthday Bobbie!!  May you have many many more and may all your kids take extra long naps today!  I hope you have a nice time with your family!!  Know we are with you in our hearts!
Happy, happy birthday, Bobbie!  I hope your family does something extra special for you to celebrate.
Thank you Marleigh!  Happy Birthday Michelle!  We share this day that God made for us.  I pray His blessing upon you today!

Miss Marleigh Raine!  You are just too handsome for your height!

And look at the form on those bowlers!  Colin would have loved to have gone to that birthday party!  He has bowled on a league for several years now, and on Sunday he bowled in a Special Olympics bowling tournament, and he got first place on his team (there were only two bowlers) and he was just so excited!
