Hey Everybody!
Well we did it! We picked up the newest addition to our family today! Meet Rocco! He is an Australian cattle dog/blue heeler mix, we think? We got two for the price of one so we are trying to find a home for his sister, Tiny. We have at least a foot of snow and I think they are calling for a little more tonight, but we never lost power! Glad your power came back on Trish!
Since we had a snow day I tried a couple new recipes, and both of them were awesome! The first one I tried was cream cheese biscuits and the second was braided baked spaghetti. If I could only make a career out of spending time on Pinterest!
Our entire house needs painted so we are going one room at a time and I finally picked out a color for the spare bedroom. Since Paul painted it I can't seem to keep the dogs out of it! Ladybird really likes it!

WOW!!! Addy, you and Paul are going to need to clear some of the land behind your house so you have room for all your pups :) I seriously thought you were going to take in your sister-in-laws puppy. Marleigh is doing better. She had diarrhea the whole weekend then threw up last night at church. She said she didn't like her potato (it was a piece of corn dog). She threw it up as soon as she ate it. Needless to say, I was in need of Calgon in a bad way last night lol!! I think her bowels are pretty much back to normal but her nose has started running a little. Pray it dries up overnight. Her birthday is Friday, party Saturday and I don't want her to have a runny nose on her b-day :/ Trish, how are you feeling today? Janet, I haven't forgotten about that project :) Steve, I have to be at our church on Easter Sunday so I don't guess we'll make it up that weekend. We will miss everyone!! Love to all
Hey Everybody!
Trish I hope you get strength back in your arms soon! I hate to hear that about Emma, hopefully she will bounce back quickly!
Monica, how is Marleigh feeling?
Alice, glad to hear the good news about your health! Miss you guys!
Steve, Paul and I don't have any plans for that weekend that I know of, so we will be free if everybody decides to get together!
Well, Paul and I are adding another member to our family, another dog! Can you believe it? I must be absolutely crazy. He is an Australian cattle dog name Rocco. This will make 5 dogs, in the house! I must be losing my mind. I will post pictures sometime later in the week when we pick him up.
I have been playing a Praise and Worship station on Pandora during class and my students seem to really like it! I just sing along with it and go on about my day. They tell me which songs they like and which ones they know. I was just listening to it when I didn't have kids in my room but I thought it couldn't hurt right?
Talk to you guys soon! If we get a bunch of snow like they are calling for I will post some pictures!

Emma has a splint on her arm and will see an ortho dr hopefully Monday to see what they will have to do.
Monica make sure miss marleigh gets lots of fluids: pop sicles, gator ade, diarrhea is the fastest way to dehydrate than anything. So if she starts getting droopy and won't perk up, take her to the doctor!
My hands are giving me a lot of pain. I still don't have any strength in either one. I am hoping to go to church in the morning but not sure if I can get ready:(

Steve~ Saw where you were asking about Easter? Just wanted to let you know we won't be able to attend because we are headed to Myrtle Beach that week. I know you are trying to figure out if everyone wants to get together. Just thought I'd let you know.
Hated to hear about Emma. Trish, glad you are home and well. Loved your post on fb about the Diet Coke and 911. LOL Poor Jacob.
Monica~ I hope you are doing some serious thinking on that project I gave you since I haven't heard back??? Haha

I hate to hear about Emma's arm :( Were they able to put a cast on so it can heal on it's own? We will be praying for her. Please pray for Marleigh. She has had diarrhea since yesterday. The dr said there is a virus going around. They told us to use over the counter meds. I don't know how long it's supposed to be for it to take effect but I hope it does soon!!

Hey Rita (or anybody else who has it), can I get your banana pudding recipe? I have a baby shower on Sunday that I need to make something for and I have been craving your banana pudding for weeks! =D

If I could get you to pray for my brother and his family he lost his son today , my nephew who we loved dearly. He will be sadly missed. What was I thinking? I finally regained feeling in my hands about midnight and unfortunately the pain came with it. He had trouble with the left one and had to dig around in it more. Boy am I feeling it today. I have no strength in either hanD and tremendous pain so you guys please say a prayer. Jacob slept with me and took good care of me last night. Rita brought supper last potato soup and cornbread.....yummy!
Do any of you remember Madeline Callison. She died yesterday. Son is Paul and daughter Lisa, she was like 95 I think.

Easter
Are we going to get together for Easter, if everyone wants to get together let me know. I think we would have to get together March 30th if we are going to get together. Please let me know what everyone wants to do as soon as possible so I can be sure and be off from work.
Trish~ Loved hearing about Danny's note.
Also, wanted to let everyone know that my mother-in-law is having us a baby shower. If you haven't already made plans or aren't busy that weekend, I would love to see you there. It will be at the Danese Christian School Gymnasium on May 25th at 2pm. Invitations won't go out for a while, but just thought I would let you know ahead of time.

I decided to clean out one box of Danny's. in the box was mostly paperwork stuff from the office. In his desk calendar there were several empty pages so I thought I would let emma play with it. I flipped to the last page and found this in Danny's own hand writing ❤ ya think he is trying to tell me something ;)

With having both wrist done at the same time, Trish, you cannot do anything at all for yourself for a time. Is that right? I knew a hair dresser that had the same thing done (both wrist at the same time) and I thought that is what she told me. Someone had to help her get dressed, do her bath, everything. Recovery sounds great tho. Just a few weeks? What does your work say? Is it considered a medical leave?

Bobbie you are right, Emma and the twins are my sunny spots in the day! Emma likes to talk about danny but she tests me and if she sees it upsets me or I cry she drops it. Monday she had lots of wisdom for me. Mostly what heaven was like. She actually talks as though she has seen it. I didn't ask.
I have to share this from yesterday's pre k class. I learned how to play duck duck goose! The kids all got to play in the gym for an hour and they pretty much run amuck and do whatever. There was this one little girl named Maggie that kept getting me by the hand all day and wanting me to play with her so of course I play with her. Everyone is playing their own thing so I remembered a game that mommy played with my kids. They took blocks and made a train on the back porch by connecting them all. The kids had flat blocks that they could walk on so I asked maggie if we could connect them. Then we walked frontwards and then backwards without peeping! My word you would've thought I had created the moon. The next thing I knew the whole class was standing in line just to walk on our train track. Then it was a high wire under the big top! Needless to say I had a lot of fun.
Then after nap time there was a huge box by the trash can ready for the trash. I asked the kids if they had ever been to the land of imagination? I folded all the box in so that it was a giant rectangle just big enough for a four year old to walk through. I told them to imagine their most favorite place when they walked through and they would be there. Well here comes little Maggie and grabbed me by the hand, "miss Trish miss Trish you have got to come to my imagination land there is so much ice cream and marshmallows! You will love it." I told little Maggie miss Trish wouldn't fit through the door, she didn't miss a beat and grabbed my hand and said that's ok you can walk around the door and still get there:). Those kids had the greatest time walking back and forth from one world to the other!
I really felt like I cheated the school system yesterday! I don't think I worked a minute we played ALL day long. Oh wait, I did disinfect the tables for snacks☺.
My appt went well I guess you could say. The dr is really good and super nice. I will have surgery on both hands Thursday morning. I have to be there at 8 and it takes a good 3& 1/2 hours together there so Tina is taking me up Wednesday night. I can stay with emily and her daughter lives just a couple miles from emily so she is staying with her.
Rita has already planned out supper for us that evening so i am thinking this might have some perks to it!

I travel to Morgantown this morning to see a hand specialist about my hands. Tina is taking me so you guys say a prayer for our safety and that I will get a good report. We are meeting up with emily and Tina's daughter Meggan and are going to have birthday lunch for Danny❤
I worked in the pre school classroom yesterday! So much fun!

Happy birthday Danny! As I was having a tea party earlier this week with my little red head Emma, Danny's birthday came up. I told her he would've been 50 today if he was here to celebrate a birthday! Emma said, "Oh but TT, Danny Boy WILL have a birthday in HeaVen. And it will be so much better there because everything is much more beautiful there. And DannyBoy will feel better and he will be happy!"
I should've saved my money on grief counseling and just had tea parties with Emma❤. Love that girl to death

Dan and I went to school with Ann Patterson Witt. Rhonda just emailed that DJ (Ann's granddaughter) had just gotten out of surgery, and that they had removed her spleen, she had six broken ribs, 2 leg fractures and facial trauma but no head injury as they had initially thought. She has not yet regained consciousness. Apparently DJ's son seems to be okay. No update on the friend (Brody) who was driving.

Happy Birthday Jacob!
At this time 14 years ago I was holding a 9# red headed bundle in my arms!
Wow how time flies! A scheduled C-section at 8am of course there was no sleep
the night before! It amazed me when they handed him to me, I thought Wow! He
looks just like the other 2. All 3 of my kids come out looking exactly the
same, but my how they are different. And to this day Jacob marches to a
different beat of the drum than his big sister and big brother. But that
doesn't mean his beat is wrong. One of the perks of being a parent is getting
the front row seat to see how your kids are gonna turn out! So far my front row
performances have not been disappointing! Jacob every day with you is something
new and exciting and I only expect more of that in the future! You make me very
proud to be your mother! I know if your Dad was here he would kick your behind
and tell you the same! You are loved! Take life by the horns because you can
do whatever you want with it!
I Love you,
Mom

Happy Valentines Day!
As Valentine’s Day winds down, many thoughts cross my
mind. The first and most obvious is of
course Danny and how I miss him and the love that we shared. I still have that love and treasure it every
second of every day; I just don’t have the physical Danny. I know he is in Heaven with our Lord and
Savior- the ultimate Valentine! How
could I deny him that? I know the last 6
months have been so lonely and sad for me but I can hardly imagine what they
have been for him, in the presence of God our Savior!
John
3:16 (NIV)
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only
Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
As much as we loved each other,
Jesus loves us so much more. When we
said our goodbyes 6 months ago, I did so with a heavy heart, but at the same
time I had peace with it. I knew he
would be reunited with Jesus and so many that had gone on before. I thought how awful and hard it would be for
someone to say goodbye and not have that peace in their heart that they would
one day be together and reunited in Heaven.
Take what is left of this day and
tell Jesus, that special loved one, friend, child, parent, even the person in
line at Wal-Mart, tell them that you love them!
So many people have helped me I could never tell them all. They may not even know they helped me! But today I want to tell you- from my heart
to yours, Happy Valentine’s Day!
If you don’t do anything else today,
LOVE!
Luke
10:27 (NIV)
27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’[a]; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b]”
I love you,
Trish

A Big Big Congratulations all around everybody! I think that covers it!
Trish, have you worked anymore since the first 2 days?
Steve, I still have faith about that job!
Daniel and Alice, How have you been? We love you guys!
I have been busier the past 2 weeks than I think I ever have at school! I picked up teaching a homebound student. We've had a basketball game every evening so I've either been working concession or coaching the cheerleaders. I was at the school for 14 hours yesterday without a break and today is pretty much the same story. But thank the Lord for my husband! He paid all the bills, had a fresh pan of rolls in the oven when I got home last night, and shampooed the carpets today! I really like him driving the bus, he's got time in the middle of the day to get things accomplished that I can't even think about!

Wow! So excited for you, Kim and Andy:) Guess our little ones will have cousins their age...and we all know how much trouble they are bound to end up in. Haha However, I am sure that their grandmas aren't quite as free with the furniture polish or the blankets to cover windows as ours was.
Monica~ Do we need to put a ban on all threats on the blog? Lol looking forward to Saturday!
Today, Kaiden turned five...hard to believe it has been that long.
Love to all~ Janet

So excited for you all and all these new babies! But yes...please keep that stuff away from me for at least another few years! I already have something that won't let me sleep or stay out late, haha.
Zac and I have just been staying busy in Morgantown. He is taking online classes (should graduate this December!!) and working and I have anatomy this semester which requires me to be in lab a lot, so we don't have too much time to spare. I always make time to check in here and see how everyone is doing though!
I shadowed the hospital chaplain today and we saw a sweet little lady named Edith. She told us she was blessed whether she gets better or whether she doesn't and that whatever happened would only make her faith stronger. Made me think of Grandma. =)
Love and miss you all!

Electrical Teaching position
I just wanted to let everyone know that I did not get the job. I got a call today and they said I was next in line if the other candidate didn't work out.
Congratulations to everyone! I agree with Bobbie - Mandolin does not seem to be male or female. However, Mandol is a prescription drug. I looked up Brandolin (I like that, too) and I found it as a last name in the U. S. and Canada.
Dolin Name Meaning - Jewish (eastern Ashkenazic): habitational name from any of several places in Ukraine and Belarus called Dolina, from Slavic dolina ‘valley’. French: metonymic occupational name for a carpenter, from a derivative of doler ‘to shave or plane’. Probably a variant spelling of Dolen.
Why can't you still name him Mandolin? Why does that have to be a girl's name? We'll call him Dolin or Mandol! Or you could call him Brandolin! Possibilities are endless. He will be special no matter what you call him because God is forming him even as we speak! That is soo AWESOME! Anyway CONGRATULATIONS Blain and Rita on your new grandson! Olivia and Kaiden on your new brother! And Congrats Mom and Dad on your new son about to enter your world! We all have a great responsibility to teach and train him in the ways of the Lord! I'll pray for him! Janet and Matthew I'm so excited for you!

Does anyone recognize Jacobs gun cabinet on his wall?
Jacob called steve to see if he was using and it was in the basement collecting dust so steve brought it over and they hung it up. I know there is a story behind the guncase. I remember I think that Daniel and Lonnie made it in shop class at west. Is that right? Or it may have been David. I just remember it being one if the boys projects. Please share! Jacob is enjoying it and I have to admit I like having it and remembering.....

Janet, first of all I don't take kindly to your threats whether they be directly from you or through a second party!! :) You talked about Bobby Shawn leaving you in the dust on the road and we know how well you keep it between the lines anyway, so I thought my comment was fitting :P And yes, we definitely need to get together so I can give you the baby stuff I have. I'll be getting in touch with you on the 4th if I don't hear from you first. Can't wait :) Love to all
