Hi Trish, Sounds like you are enjoying work with the little ones. We will be praying for you and the surgery.

Alice had her blood work the other day and it came back good. Praise the Lord. Thanks for all the prayers.

Love and Prayers
Joe and Alice

With having both wrist done at the same time, Trish, you cannot do anything at all for yourself for a time.  Is that right?  I knew a hair dresser that had the same thing done (both wrist at the same time) and I thought that is what she told me.  Someone had to help her get dressed, do her bath, everything.  Recovery sounds great tho. Just a few weeks?  What does your work say?  Is it considered a medical leave?

Thursday, February 21, 2013

Carpal tunnel. He said recovery is usually a couple weeks.  But he said I could go back to work when I can stand it.  He said the only people that he insists stay off from work for a month is coal miners.
I would've loved to be in class with you Trish, sounds so exciting!!  What kind of surgery are you having on your hands and what's the recoop time for it?
Bobbie you are right, Emma and the twins are my sunny spots in the day! Emma likes to talk about danny but she tests me and if she sees it upsets me or I cry she drops it.  Monday she had lots of wisdom for me.  Mostly what heaven was like.  She actually talks as though she has seen it.  I didn't ask.
I have to share this from yesterday's pre k class.  I learned how to play duck duck goose!  The kids all got to play in the gym for an hour and they pretty much run amuck and do whatever.  There was this one little girl named Maggie that kept getting me by the hand all day and wanting me to play with her so of course I play with her.   Everyone is playing their own thing so I remembered a game that mommy played with my kids.  They took blocks and made a train on the back porch by connecting them all.  The kids had flat blocks that they could walk on so I asked maggie if we could connect them.  Then we walked frontwards and then backwards without peeping!  My word you would've thought I had created the moon.  The next thing I knew the whole class was standing in line just to walk on our train track.  Then it was a high wire under the big top!  Needless to say I had a lot of fun.
Then after nap time there was a huge box by the trash can ready for the trash.  I asked the kids if they had ever been to the land of imagination?  I folded all the box in so that it was a giant rectangle just big enough for a four year old to walk through.  I told them to imagine their most favorite place when they walked through and they would be there.  Well here comes little Maggie and grabbed me by the hand, "miss Trish miss Trish you have got to come to my imagination land there is so much ice cream and marshmallows!  You will love it."  I told little Maggie miss Trish wouldn't fit through the door, she didn't miss a beat and grabbed my hand and said that's ok you can walk around the door and still get there:). Those kids had the greatest time walking back and forth from one world to the other!
I really felt like I cheated the school system yesterday!  I don't think I worked a minute we played ALL day long.  Oh wait, I did disinfect the tables for snacks☺.

My appt went well I guess you could say.  The dr is really good and super nice.  I will have surgery on both hands Thursday morning.  I have to be there at 8 and it takes a good 3& 1/2 hours together there so Tina is taking me up Wednesday night.  I can stay with emily and her daughter lives just a couple miles from emily so she is staying with her.
Rita has already planned out supper for us that evening so i am thinking this might have some perks to it!
Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day! Author unknown
Trish, it sounds like little Emma is your something good in your not so good days.
Happy Birthday Danny, I know it is a Happy One.
I travel to Morgantown this morning to see a hand specialist about my hands.  Tina is taking me so you guys say a prayer for our safety and that I will get a good report.  We are meeting up with emily and Tina's daughter Meggan  and are going to have birthday lunch for Danny❤

I worked in the pre school classroom yesterday!  So much fun!
Happy birthday Danny! As I was having a tea party earlier this week with my little red head Emma, Danny's birthday came up. I told her he would've been 50 today if he was here to celebrate a birthday! Emma said, "Oh but TT, Danny Boy WILL have a birthday in HeaVen. And it will be so much better there because everything is much more beautiful there. And DannyBoy will feel better and he will be happy!"

I should've saved my money on grief counseling and just had tea parties with Emma❤. Love that girl to death

Cindy we are so sorry to hear about your sister.  We pray God's comfort in your time of sorrow.
From Timmy

We got a call last night around 8:30, Cindy's sister passed away, Blood Clot, they brought her back 4 times then said enough! And it was over!
Dan and I went to school with Ann Patterson Witt.  Rhonda just emailed that DJ (Ann's granddaughter) had just gotten out of surgery, and  that they had removed her spleen, she had six broken ribs, 2 leg fractures and facial trauma but no head injury as they had initially thought.  She has not yet regained consciousness.  Apparently DJ's son seems to be okay.  No update on the friend (Brody) who was driving.
Anne Witt and her great granddaughter were killed in a car wreck yesterday. There were her granddaughter and her boyfriend and another great grand baby involved but they say they will all be ok. Anne is Donna witts sister in law. I am sure some of you went to school with her.

Now that is a picture of love "full up!" Life don't get now better than that!  Hope you had a good birthday Jacob!

Happy Birthday Jacob!

At this time 14 years ago I was holding a 9# red headed bundle in my arms! Wow how time flies! A scheduled C-section at 8am of course there was no sleep the night before! It amazed me when they handed him to me, I thought Wow! He looks just like the other 2. All 3 of my kids come out looking exactly the same, but my how they are different. And to this day Jacob marches to a different beat of the drum than his big sister and big brother. But that doesn't mean his beat is wrong. One of the perks of being a parent is getting the front row seat to see how your kids are gonna turn out! So far my front row performances have not been disappointing! Jacob every day with you is something new and exciting and I only expect more of that in the future! You make me very proud to be your mother! I know if your Dad was here he would kick your behind and tell you the same! You are loved! Take life by the horns because you can do whatever you want with it!

I Love you,

Mom

We love you too Trish!

Trish, you made me cry :)  It was well said though.  "LOVE YOU" to everyone and Happy Valentines Day!!

Happy Valentines Day!

As Valentine’s Day winds down, many thoughts cross my mind.  The first and most obvious is of course Danny and how I miss him and the love that we shared.   I still have that love and treasure it every second of every day; I just don’t have the physical Danny.  I know he is in Heaven with our Lord and Savior- the ultimate Valentine!  How could I deny him that?  I know the last 6 months have been so lonely and sad for me but I can hardly imagine what they have been for him, in the presence of God our Savior!

John 3:16 (NIV)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

As much as we loved each other, Jesus loves us so much more.  When we said our goodbyes 6 months ago, I did so with a heavy heart, but at the same time I had peace with it.  I knew he would be reunited with Jesus and so many that had gone on before.  I thought how awful and hard it would be for someone to say goodbye and not have that peace in their heart that they would one day be together and reunited in Heaven.

Take what is left of this day and tell Jesus, that special loved one, friend, child, parent, even the person in line at Wal-Mart, tell them that you love them!  So many people have helped me I could never tell them all.  They may not even know they helped me!  But today I want to tell you- from my heart to yours, Happy Valentine’s Day!

If you don’t do anything else today, LOVE!

 Luke 10:27 (NIV)

27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’[a]; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b]

I love you,

Trish

Congrats Vonda!
Addie I'm so glad you have a Mr. wonderful like me! Hehe
Trish, I deleted my account, nobody cared about what I posted anyway and I thought it would help me keep in touch but nobody does.
Missing everyone and hoping everyone is doing good.  Love you all!
A Big Big Congratulations all around everybody! I think that covers it!
Trish, have you worked anymore since the first 2 days?
Steve, I still have faith about that job!
Daniel and Alice, How have you been? We love you guys!
I have been busier the past 2 weeks than I think I ever have at school! I picked up teaching a homebound student. We've had a basketball game every evening so I've either been working concession or coaching the cheerleaders. I was at the school for 14 hours yesterday without a break and today is pretty much the same story. But thank the Lord for my husband! He paid all the bills, had a fresh pan of rolls in the oven when I got home last night, and shampooed the carpets today! I really like him driving the bus, he's got time in the middle of the day to get things accomplished that I can't even think about!
Hey Teresa! What happened to you on FB? I can't find you anymore? I am really missing you!

Wow!  So excited for you, Kim and Andy:)  Guess our little ones will have cousins their age...and we all know how much trouble they are bound to end up in.  Haha  However, I am sure that their grandmas aren't quite as free with the furniture polish or the blankets to cover windows as ours was.

Monica~  Do we need to put a ban on all threats on the blog?  Lol looking forward to Saturday!

Today, Kaiden turned five...hard to believe it has been that long.

Love to all~ Janet
WOW!!!!  Congrats to Andy, Kim and Mason :)  The water's fine in our neck of the woods.  However, I use a Brita filter on all our water lol.
So excited for you all and all these new babies! But yes...please keep that stuff away from me for at least another few years! I already have something that won't let me sleep or stay out late, haha.

Zac and I have just been staying busy in Morgantown. He is taking online classes (should graduate this December!!) and working and I have anatomy this semester which requires me to be in lab a lot, so we don't have too much time to spare. I always make time to check in here and see how everyone is doing though!

I shadowed the hospital chaplain today and we saw a sweet little lady named Edith. She told us she was blessed whether she gets better or whether she doesn't and that whatever happened would only make her faith stronger. Made me think of Grandma. =)

Love and miss you all!

Electrical Teaching position

I just wanted to let everyone know that I did not get the job. I got a call today and they said I was next in line if the other candidate didn't work out.
Congratulations to everyone!  I agree with Bobbie - Mandolin does not seem to be male or female.  However, Mandol is a prescription drug.  I looked up Brandolin (I like that, too) and I found it as a last name in the U. S. and Canada.

Dolin Name Meaning - Jewish (eastern Ashkenazic):  habitational name from any of several places in Ukraine and Belarus called Dolina, from Slavic dolina ‘valley’.  French:  metonymic occupational name for a carpenter, from a derivative of doler ‘to shave or plane’.  Probably a variant spelling of Dolen.
Why can't you still name him Mandolin?  Why does that have to be a girl's name? We'll call him Dolin or Mandol!  Or you could call him Brandolin! Possibilities are endless.  He will be special no matter what you call him because God is forming him even as we speak!  That is soo AWESOME!  Anyway CONGRATULATIONS  Blain and Rita on your new grandson!  Olivia and Kaiden on your new brother!  And Congrats Mom and Dad on your new son about to enter your world!  We all have a great responsibility to teach and train him in the ways of the Lord!  I'll pray for him!  Janet and Matthew I'm so excited for you!

Monday, January 28, 2013

I got my first call! I catch the bus in the morning at 6:25 in lewisburg and I work at greenbrier east all day! So you guys say lots of prayers throughout your day tomorrow! Even if its a little one❤

And yes Daniel he is:). If you ever want it, you know where it is!
That would be me. I can't remember what year it was but I think it was when Mr. Hill was the shop teacher.
Dad would be proud that you are using it Jacob.

Does anyone recognize Jacobs gun cabinet on his wall?
Jacob called steve to see if he was using and it was in the basement collecting dust so steve brought it over and they hung it up. I know there is a story behind the guncase. I remember I think that Daniel and Lonnie made it in shop class at west. Is that right? Or it may have been David. I just remember it being one if the boys projects. Please share! Jacob is enjoying it and I have to admit I like having it and remembering.....

Sunday, January 27, 2013

Janet, first of all I don't take kindly to your threats whether they be directly from you or through a second party!!  :)  You talked about Bobby Shawn leaving you in the dust on the road and we know how well you keep it between the lines anyway, so I thought my comment was fitting :P  And yes, we definitely need to get together so I can give you the baby stuff I have.  I'll be getting in touch with you on the 4th if I don't hear from you first.  Can't wait :)  Love to all

Saturday, January 26, 2013

Steve, Have you heard if you got the job?  That will be great!  If  it has already been posted, sorry I missed it.  By the way it will take you about a week to correct Teresa on that 7-2:30 and summers off comment.  LOL  Please do that asap...Love you Teresa!

Teresa, Do you have any ideas frim the shop for something cheap for my kids for V Day...doubt that my boys want roses.  I have 14 so put your creative mind to work.  You guys will deliver to the school that day right?

Monica, How are you liking your day job?  And really?  Bobby Shawn and I drive nothing alike and I feel sure he would smack you for saying so.  Pretty sure he still holds a grudge over his four-wheeler.  I need to get in touch with you, probably after the 4th so we can go from their and see if I need all that girl stuff...let's keep our fingers crossed.  :)

Trish, got your post on facebook and I will get on right on that.

Hope everyone is staying warm.  We got two snow days last week which was unexpected.  Olivia played her basketball game today and did a great job.  I think the adults have more fun watching than the kids do though.  They are so comical.  She took the ball from another little girl and didn't even dribble.  Just went running Haha!  Kaiden will be five next week and I need prayers on Friday because there will be several four- five year olds here for his party.  Not sure how that is going to work out.  Anyway, love you all.  Hope to see you soon!

Janet
I start when they call! It just depends on when someone else calls in. I will fill in for the nurse and also can fill in for the aide. Me and one other nurse are the only fill ins for the county. I pretty much will never know my schedule ;)
Soo, Trish, do you start on Monday?  When will they let you know something Steve?

Friday, January 25, 2013

Wonderful news ladies!!!  Praise the Lord!!
I have a Praise report within a prayer request! Prayer request: I have another kidney stone and spent all day yesterday in the hospital. I need to pass this thing, and quick! Praise report: The pain from this stone wasn't half as bad as the other 5 and I went through the worst of the pain before I even got to the hospital and got meds! I could actually tolerate the pain this time, not that I want to do it again, but after experiencing the pain from the others, I think God knew I couldn't handle it yesterday morning and he was merciful!
So happy for you Trish, I knew you would do just fine, Glad reesee is doing good too.
Love those PRAISE REPORTS of all kind!  Anyone else have a praise report for the Lord?

Tuesday, January 22, 2013

Yeah Reese!!  Anyone reading this blog who doesn't know us, know 3 things  for sure, about the Treadway's.  We love God, our kids and our animals :)

Reese

Reese went to the doctor for a check up and had her staples removed. They said she was looking good and she is feeling like her old self!
Thanks for the prayers! Today was info input overload! I will be working with pre k which includes 3-4 year olds and special Ed. And as a nurse I will be working with the diabetic kids. It felt good to be in the working field again even if it is part time!

Laundry Buddy

I can just hear Mommy saying to you with that big smile of hers, "Trish, don't forget all things are possible with God!"
Trish, you are going to do fine think positive , I can do all things through Christ who strengths me. and He will .
Trish, I understand how you are feeling.  I think about it all the time...if I had to go back to work...as a nurse.  I would feel like I didn't know anything.  But you have so much more knowledge than you realize...And you've already done the "hard stuff" in nursing.  Besides, God isn't going to give you a job that you're not equipped for!  Just look at the practice (training) and patience you've had with kids.  You have been in training all your life for this job!!  And Danny helped you prepare by being so loving and caring of all our (and everyone else's) kids.  I know it's hard to see, but God has a plan and he just wants you to trust Him so He can show you how faithful He is.  I can see you, one day, being an advocate for children.  You never know what God has planned SO don't think small.  He is a GREAT GOD.  And I believe He will show Himself mighty on your behalf.

Janet, No boy's name?  Do you know something I don't know??

The temp is reading 10 degrees and the forcast said that we could have 25 mph wind gusts.  Well, I'm here to tell ya, the wind is whistling DIXIE across this ridge this morning.  I wish I could measure the wind chill factor up here :O

Monday, January 21, 2013

Tomorrow is my first day of orientation! You guys say a prayer for me I am so nervous. It's been a long time-8 years- since I have had a job:) I have set two alarms because I am so worried I will over sleep!!! Everyone tells me it's like riding a bike? I am not so sure:(
Janet, I love Mandolyn Kate!!  So unique :)
Hello Everyone! Where in the world were those pictures of the snow? Lol Surely somewhere else didn't get slammed and not us? Monica, I love the pictures since we haven't had any snow. Marleigh looked like she was having so much fun sleigh riding.

Trish, how is Andrew and how are things going with your job? Have you worked yet and do you like it so far? We are going to have to get out your way, but we haven't because of all the snow...yeah right:) Anyway, all is good with the baby. We find out what it is on Feb. 4th. We have no idea on a boy name, but we like Mandolyn Kate for a girl. Olivia really wanted Merida, but she lost out on that one. The kids are going with us to the ultrasound and they are so excited!

I miss you all and think of you often. I read the blog as often as I get a chance, just don't always have time to post.

Love you, Janet
