I forgot, Happy Birthday Tarin and Daniel!!

I hope that everyone enjoyed a wonderful, blessed day with family and friends.  We had Christmas at Mom and Dad's today.  After we had a late lunch, Mom read the Christmas story from the Bible and Marleigh waited patiently for her turn to tell us that the angels said, "Glory to God!".  Afterwards, she helped distribute gifts.  For some reason she had it in her mind that she had to help everyone open their gifts lol.  Corey got Andrea a bracelet.  He made the charm on it from the end of a bullet.  It was so pretty!  If you are on facebook you know that shooting is an enjoyed past-time they both share!!  Also, it looks as though we have another future musically talented member in the family :)  Trish, I'm glad you guys made it back safely from your visit with Emily and Zac.  It looks like you all had a wonderful time :D  Cindy, your house looked full and running over with love and laughter.  Love to all

Merry Christmas from Morgantown!

This is Janet on mom's computer.  Nothing like coming home for Christmas.  Just wanted to pop in and say Merry Christmas to everyone:)  Trish, your post was truely uplifing.  Love you all and can't wait to see everyone on Saturday!

We are on our way to Morgantown for Christmas with emily and zac as they won't be able to come in. It's 40 degrees and the roads are wet so the good lord is taking care of the weather for us. Although it looks like it is moving in tomorrow so we will be home tonight.
We had Christmas at smoot last night before candlelight service. The candlelight service was beautiful as always. It was Danny's favorite of the whole year....mine too! It was by far the hardest thing I have attended since he died. Walking up the aisle to take communion without him by my side....made everything just so final. David and I sang the prayer, it was so beautiful for that service and then Candace and I sang when you believe, the song of miracles! Vonda did you go to a candlelight service? I couldn't think of any other place I would've wanted to be. It's all about Jesus! No other worries. I hope you all have a great and merry Christmas. Hug the ones that are close to you and reach out to the ones that aren't! I know there are so many in heaven watching over us this Christmas! Danny, mommy, daddy,  David , our brother and sister, our many aunts and uncles and grandparents, Teresa's dad, Marcia's dad, Dans parents, Julie's parents, Blaine's sister, Elliott's mom and dad, Brett ..:.the list could go on and on.
They are in the presence of the ultimate Christmas gift. Sometimes I get so jealous but one day...one day!

Merry Christmas Everyone! We loved the pictures too!  Have a great Day in the Lord remembering His birth, and we hope to see you all Saturday at the Homestead!

Don't forget to take pics of your families (especially the kids) today and post them.  Marleigh you are a little angel, or as your Nina says, "a little handmaiden of the Lord."   From Backus Mtn, WV, MERRY CHRISTMAS, YA'LL!  And thanks for all the pics that came with the Christmas cards.  I loved them!!

So glad everyone was ok, thank God no one was injured.

I also want to remind family members of Dec 29th at noon is our family get together~ bring a finger food of some kind, your favorite drink, and DON'T forget your White Elephant gift.  Can't wait to see everyone.  God bless and stay safe.  Love you all and Merry Christmas/Happy New Year for those that wont be able to join us.

We took mom to Ohio last night to meet Ruth and Dan.It was getting bad on Ruth's end and they spun out in the truck,went in ditch.They are okay and so was truck.They just had to wait for help to get them out.Mom stayed at hotel and waited for them. I think it was after 9 when they made it.Please pray they make it back to Ruth's okay.Anyone traveling be really careful.

THE FIELD TRIP

Please don't cry, we're okay.
We went on a field trip today.
A secret place where there's fun to be had.
And the principal's with us, so we won't be bad.
It's full of toys and rainbow slides.
Cotton candy and high cloud rides.
A funny zoo full of different things.
I even saw a man with wings.
We're not alone so don't you fear.
We're chaperoned by Jesus here.
It's really nice so I think I'll stay.
And hold your spot till your field trip day.
I know Christmas is here and there's toys to be given.
So please tell Santa that I'm in Heaven.

Trish, what do you mean by "roger that insurance"?  Will be praying for the full time position.

Just wanted to let you all know God answered one prayer. I got the job as an nurse/sub. But that us not enough! I have roger that insurance which means a full time job! Addy called me Wednesday and said there was an opening at Jacobs school for a full time nurse so I applied! You guys send lots of prayers Gotta run!

	This is the inside of the church that hosted the get together after the parade yesterday. When I was in elementary school there was a lady that came to the school to do Bible study. Since she wasn't allowed to do that on school property, they had a bus that took all the kids (that had permission) to this church and we had Bible study in this sanctuary :) I love the wood work in it, so beautiful!!
