We are on our way to Morgantown for Christmas with emily and zac as they won't be able to come in. It's 40 degrees and the roads are wet so the good lord is taking care of the weather for us. Although it looks like it is moving in tomorrow so we will be home tonight.
We had Christmas at smoot last night before candlelight service. The candlelight service was beautiful as always. It was Danny's favorite of the whole year....mine too! It was by far the hardest thing I have attended since he died. Walking up the aisle to take communion without him by my side....made everything just so final. David and I sang the prayer, it was so beautiful for that service and then Candace and I sang when you believe, the song of miracles! Vonda did you go to a candlelight service? I couldn't think of any other place I would've wanted to be. It's all about Jesus! No other worries. I hope you all have a great and merry Christmas. Hug the ones that are close to you and reach out to the ones that aren't! I know there are so many in heaven watching over us this Christmas! Danny, mommy, daddy,  David , our brother and sister, our many aunts and uncles and grandparents, Teresa's dad, Marcia's dad, Dans parents, Julie's parents, Blaine's sister, Elliott's mom and dad, Brett ..:.the list could go on and on.
They are in the presence of the ultimate Christmas gift. Sometimes I get so jealous but one day...one day!

So glad everyone was ok, thank God no one was injured.

We took mom to Ohio last night to meet Ruth and Dan.It was getting bad on Ruth's end and they spun out in the truck,went in ditch.They are okay and so was truck.They just had to wait for help to get them out.Mom stayed at hotel and waited for them. I think it was after 9 when they made it.Please pray they make it back to Ruth's okay.Anyone traveling be really careful.

Just wanted to let you all know God answered one prayer. I got the job as an nurse/sub. But that us not enough! I have roger that insurance which means a full time job! Addy called me Wednesday and said there was an opening at Jacobs school for a full time nurse so I applied! You guys send lots of prayers Gotta run!

	This is the inside of the church that hosted the get together after the parade yesterday. When I was in elementary school there was a lady that came to the school to do Bible study. Since she wasn't allowed to do that on school property, they had a bus that took all the kids (that had permission) to this church and we had Bible study in this sanctuary :) I love the wood work in it, so beautiful!! Christmas Parade

Today we had our Christmas Parade. We had beautiful weather though itwas still a little chilly. After the parade was over the community park had coffee, hot chocolate, soup and doughnuts for everyone. You could also go and walk through the neighboring church to see their decorations. It was a wonderful morning. I'll post pics of the church tomorrow :) And when I get Marleigh in front of our tree I'll send some pics of it too!!

We put up our tree the week of Thanksgiving, and our stockings...all of them! And Ladybird got to see Santa!

Happy Belated Birthday Matthew!  It was yesterday. He was home yesterday and still today, with the flu.  Olivia too.  I took them some Potato Soup yesterday hoping to make them feel some better, but I don't think it worked.  Janet said they are still in bed today  =(

The board of Ed met on Tuesday night and so I should hear this week hopefully!  You all keep the prayers going!  Lets see some pictures if everyone's trees!

We put our tree up over Halloween weekend since we do not do Halloween.  Bob told me that he always decorates around the first week in November, and that sounded too early at first.  However, last year I did that and the kids were able to enjoy the tree when we would get them.  Also it took the pressure off during the Christmas season and freed us up to do fun stuff, like watching Christmas movies, baking, attending neighborhood church functions, etc.  So, we did the same thing this year.  Last Saturday, Dan, Colin and I went to see the play The Gospel According to Scrooge put on by Victory Christian Center in Coitsville (a church larger than ours).  It was very good!  They had about 100 members in the cast, and they did a wonderful job.

That is some great news Trish, that you are being watched over everyday!  Remember the children's story where the little girl wants everything her brother has and says "Me too! Me too!"  That is the way I feel!

Monica that is AWESOME!  I remember when we put that request on here for prayer!  I know if God will do it for you he will do it for me!  So you guys keep praying.  The Board of Education met last night and they vote on the names submitted, and one of those wouldve been mine.  Even if I start out as part time, its a start.  Who knows God may give me full time right off!  I wouldn't complain!  Does everyone have their trees up?  Jacob and I went to the Smoot Christmas program last night.  It was so cute.

Monica, Do the words "exceedingly and abundantly" come to mind? ;) I am so happy but probably not nearly as happy as Lil Marleigh seeing her Mommy everynight.

I have to say that I know God is answering our prayers for my learning ability because I had another great day :)

Monica, I know you can handle that with one hand tied behind your back!

Just wanted to let everyone know I had a wonderful, first day today!!  A lot of phone answering and data entry but it was so nice to come home to my babies in the evening :)

Girls I love the pics too!  Only we would want pics in the bathroom:)  Laughter does a body good like medicine!  Keep it up, ya'll look sooo healthy!  And happy!  I can just hear ya'll laughing now!  That is one of the blessing I am thankful for this Christmas, that we have been able to be together even in sadness this year. Especially in sorrow!  I trust we will always be there for each other, no matter what.  I'm JEALOUS I couldn't be there to enjoy the food and fun!

Miss Marleigh you look much more grown up than 2 and 3/4 years old!  You look soo pretty!  I like your hair straightened, but I prefer your Mommies curly!

Trish, Teresa and I went to lunch today at Food & Friends in Lewisburg
and we had lots of fun. Then we went to the Mall (All 2 stores) and
then did the Walmart thing. I told Teresa as we were leaving, it was
no wonder Mommy and Daddy loved going there, we saw EVERYBODY!!
We took some of these in the bathroom at F & F and then we stopped a
man on the street and had him take our pic outside.
