Wife's diary:
Tonight, I thought my husband was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a nice restaurant for dinner. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment on it. Conversation wasn't flowing, so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk. He agreed, but he didn't say much. I asked him what was wrong; He said 'Nothing.' I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset. He said he wasn't upset, that it had nothing to do with me, and not to worry about it. On the way home, I told him that I loved him. He smiled slightly, and kept driving. I can't explain his behavior. I don't know why he didn't say, 'I love you, too.' When we got home, I felt as if I had lost him completely, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there quietly, and watched TV. He continued to seem distant and absent. Finally, with silence all around us, I decided to go to bed. About 15 minutes later, he came to bed. But I still felt that he was distracted and his thoughts were somewhere else. He fell asleep-I cried. I don't know what to do. I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster.
Husband's diary:
Boat wouldn't start, can't figure it out.

The Origin of the Wolf River Apple
http://www.urbanacresnursery.com/ecom/index.php?action=ecom.pdetails&mode=wolf_river¤tDepartment=apple_trees
Discovered around 1875 near the Wolf River in Wisconsin, this variety is resistant to scab, mildew, fire blight and cedar apple rust. The Wolf River apple is very winter hardy, and has a long-lived pale-yellow skin that is nearly covered with bright-red flush and red stripes. This tree bears early and yields enormous fruits, often 1 lb. or more

Dad's Wolf River Apple tree at side of the coal house
Monica, Timmy here, you can google (Wolf River Apple) and read all you want to know about the Apple in question. You can also order trees, if you like, and have your own. Dad was always impressed at how large the apples could get, even though they were pratically the same, year after year. He never ceased to admire their size, and brag, (just a little) ;) Here is one of the links to a site with lots of pic's. The tree was at the side of the coal house. Here's a link for some

Glad you all had a great lunch and was able to visit with each other.
Danny - I'm glad that the healing process is coming along nicely.
Trish - The tub is up and running even though the bathroom is still in renovation mode. The tub was a priority! I soaked for like and hour the first night we had it up and runnin'. It was great!!!
Danny and I went to princeton yesterday to see emilys apartment and guess who we saw? Monica and mark planned on coming ton see us yesterday so we met them halfway and of course we had to eat:). Lunch was great at the cracker barrel and marleigh entertained us. As you can see in the photos, she read us a story. We also enjoyed her singing to us, but we didn't get a dance :(. Then for supper, emily was working at bob Evans so we ate there.
Getting ready to go to PT.
Tanner celebrated his 18th birthday yesterday, so he is an official adult! WooHoo!! Only one baby left:)
You guys stay cool today
Teresa, as soon as that tub is in working order pencil me in for a spa day:)
Love to all

Hellooooooo Larissa!!! I love the picture with the castle. I may have to print it out and put it away for Marleigh. A picture of a real castle......how lovely :) And yes Larissa, we would love to hear about your journeys and what you are doing. Sometimes it's like reading a book of a land far away on the blog here. I like when Michelle writes about her fulfilled days in Germany and the history lessons on the castles, so interesting (hint, hint). I'm sure she will have plenty to write about now that Joe is home :) Addy, there is actually going to be a car show next weekend at the fairgrounds near mom and dads. Mark is supposed to be getting the details and such. I'll post them when he does and maybe you guys can come down and we'll make a day of it :P

I saw this on the Yahoo! homepage and thought it was hilarious. This guy dressed up in a different costume every morning when his son's bus went by their house! Very creative!

Hellooooo Everybody!
The blog sure has been busy the past few days! First, Congratulations again Tanner! The pictures look awesome and I know it must be bittersweet to have graduated, but there's so much more to come!
Joe andMichelle, It's so nice to see that God brought him home safely! And it's hard to believe how much your girls have grown since I saw them last! I can't believe it in the pictures, it's like miniature Michelles!
Trish, is Danny running you ragged yet? How long are you going to let him take it easy? haha!
And Trish, thanks so much for inviting Larissa to the blog! I'm sure she will be able to hone in on her slang and hillbilly talk from our blog!
WELCOME Larissa! Now you don't have to be lonely while you're in Germany! Anytime you feel that way you can just get on here and type your little heart out! We'd love to hear from you, and see yoiur pictures of course! You should explain to the family exactly what you're working on, I think they'd be interested! The picture is one Larissa sent me of her in front of the castle that inspired Cinderella!
I officially have 1 1/2 days with students, and then 2 more full work days for teachers! I'm so excited to start my new job next year. It's only 4 minutes from the house, not that I've timed it or anything. Is anybody planning any trips this summer? I think we might try to visit Paul's aunt and uncle in SC one weekend. Monica and Mark, Paul said he wants to come to a car show this summer down there, so if you hear of anything let us know!
Love to all!

Joe got home!!!!! This is about 1 :20 in the morning. We are on cloud nine :)
Glad everyone is doing well. I will write more later.
Oh yeah. Guess what? Joe said there were 3 Treadway's where he was at one base, he got to meet two of them. I will let him post the details, I will get them all mixed up.
Love to you all and thanks for praying for a safe fight!
Michelle
Hi Larissa
Mr. Blain and Ms. Rita are soooo glad to hear from you!! I know you are busier than we can even imagine. As we say here in WV, "You don't let no grass grow under your feet." I think of you everytime I see a Yard Sale. LOL And around here, that's everyday. How is your family and where exactly, are you? Physically and in your studies? You are awefully tiny to be taveling around this big ol' world all by yourself!! The luggage she carries is bigger than she is. Honestly!!
You get on here and give us all a little update. Waiting to hear from you even if you only have time to say Hello. We're praying for you too.
Michelle, good to hear from you and know that you are having your family all together again. God is Good. Danny, I have been planning to come and see you, but I have been sick for 2 weeks and I sure don't want to give you anything. When I know I am over it, I'll bring you some more cinnamon rolls. We've got to fatten you up!!
Michael, what a present!!!! Now that is something I'd like to do!! Oh...Blain says I already do!! What does he know...He drives like an old man!!

Welcome to the Blog Larissa!
I want everyone to give Addys friend Larissa Rizzo a Treadway welcome to the blog. I figured since she was so close to family we may as well add her to the blog. She has already checked it out and said she loved the way everyone talks back and forth. So lets hear a shout out to her.
I told her we would love to hear and see all about her travels!

Good Morning guys,
I "borrowed" some pictures from facebook this morning, see if you can guess who they are! One of them is pretty obvious! LOL

Hey, Everyone! I have been trying to post for over a week now, and there are problems. I hope this works.
Joe arrived home! Thanks for all the prayers for his safety, it has been a long year, but I know God kept him.
Happy Birthday to all those who had them! Congrats to you Tanner! Danny, looking good!
Steve and Teresa, the house is looking awesome. I love to look at the pictures.
We are supposed to have a hailstorm later today. Wow.
Hope all of you are well, much love to all of you.
Oh yeah, Joe met two of three Treadway's at one of the bases there. I will let him post info later, he is at work.

Wow Micheal! Talking about birthday wishes coming true. You done good Wendy!
Danny I am proud of you, walking a mile everyday! Already! Trish, how does that feel, getting back into the walking? Have you found some comfortable shoes? When will the radiation start? Sometime after the 16th?
Did you cry at graduation? I did, I was so very proud of them. When I think of all they could have gotten into in High School, but didn't and they stayed in church and loving the Lord and today I couldn't be more proud of them! So, Trish and Danny you have done something else good in your life! Your kids are living proof! Did you say I didn't know them like you did! Hah! Hah! There is room for improvement in all of us!
How is your bathroom coming along? I want pics as soon as you're done with all your pretty towels displayed.

Congratulations Tanner!! Have a good time at the lake, just make sure the water is deep enough if you choose to jump in.
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. Yes I had a great one, Julie and I celebrated albeit a quiet one. Now the week before when it was Michael's birthday was a different matter. He was born on Memorial Day, during the running of the Indy 500 so he has always loved race cars and watching races, both NASCAR and Indy type races. Well Wendy found a Richard Petty Driving experience for a bargain and hooked him up. Needless to say, he had a ball and we had great fun watching him run at Daytona Raceway. The pictures here show it all. He sure was excited to get to drive it. I do believe he hit 156 on his last lap. They told him to hang 3 car lengths behind the pace car and they would take him as fast as they were allowed to go. Boy he did it too.
Hey everybody,
We are having cake and ice cream tonight after graduation here at the house. Even if you can't make it to graduation you can come by for food! We will probably be back to the house around 8.

Congratulations Tanner! My how time flies! The next few years will go by even quicker than your high school days! Have fun at the lake next week. Just remember, the longer you stay in college, the longer you will be an adult without any real responsibility, so milk it for all it's worth!
We're so glad to hear Danny is doing much better, and walking in the mornings? Do you take the dogs with you?

2 down and 1 to go! I wonder if mommy Ever thought of it that way? He said the other day it was going to be hard looking out at the crowd knowing two of the people he loved the most wouldn't be there:(. If anyone can come tonight graduation is at 6 and it will be at the fairgrounds in the grandstand. Just look for the blue and gold:). One of his friends parents has a place at smith mountain lake and a bunch are going there on Sunday for the week. He is looking for a summer job so if anyone hears anything let me know.
Danny is dragging me out every morning around 7AM to walk before it gets too hot. We walk a mile every morning. He is doing really good. We saw dr. Hanes yesterday and she said he was doing great. So after he makes it through graduation tonight our next big hurdle will be radiation.
Love to all,
Trish
Steve and teresa the BR is looking great!

FAITH
Abel shows us that faith is giving our best to God. He deserves our first and our best.
Enoch shows us that faith is walking with God. It is living a life in constant connection with God, even when you can't sense or feel Him.
Noah shows us that faith is making preparations as though Christ is coming back today, even when there is seemingly no evidence.
Abraham shows us that faith is obeying God, even though you may not know where He is leading you.
Sarah shows us that faith is receiving God's promise, even when public opinion says, "No way!"
Moses shows us that faith is living life in light of eternity, and allowing that focus to affect all of life's decisions.

Monica, Danny said to tell you He feels with his fingers! LOL he is quite humorous this morning. He said he traveled all over the world last night so he is feeling kind of tired this morning. He dreamed all night. After taking a percocet and something to sleep he was a busy man. We went to UVA yesterday and they said everything looks good. Took out all the staples but left the drains. They want him to start PT for his arm and not sure when radiation will start. We see the oncologist, plastic surgeon and thorasic surgeon all on the 16th so I imagine it will be after that.
Addy sure sounds like we missed a good time Monday!
