Monica & Amy,
Change of plans! So sorry to say, but we have decided to stay through the weekend. We won't be at dinner on Saturday, so you will need to get some eggs if you are coloring them. I didn't figure we would anyway since they are having the hunt at the Cadle Farm, but I wanted to let you know just in case. Sorry again. We will miss seeing everyone, but we just aren't quite ready to come home yet. Love to you all! Happy Easter!

Good Morning all,
I just talked to Marsha and their family along with Cindys and Shawns will not be there on Saturday to eat. Lonnie has committed to be in a parade in Rainelle and Marsha and the kids along with Cindy are going to be walking and handing out balloons and candy. It starts at 1:30.
We went to see the surgeon yesterday about his chest mass and because of the extensive involvement with the muscles they are sending him to UVA to have surgery. Because of his heart valve he will have to be admitted 2-3 days before hand to stop one blood thinner and start another. They still arent exactly sure what it is. They are thinking next week for UVA but we havent got the appt yet.
I will make Mac-n-cheese and bread for saturday.

Love the kitchen Steve!! I bet Teresa can't wait to get back LOL!! I was wondering when we plan on coloring eggs with the kids? Friday evening, Saturday morning maybe, at Steve's, then take them over to the picnic? I think we're going to be leaving Sunday morning to make it back for the boys' birthday so Friday and Saturday would be the only days that Marleigh could do it :)

Hello to all,
Danny I am glad you are home. We will continue to pray for you. The Easter plans sound fun. I plan on a big celebration in my preteen Sunday School class.
David had a colonoscopy yesterday. They found some polyps. Most had a benign appearance, but they did a biopsy anyway. One of them had a precancer appearance and of course, they did a biopsy of it as well. We will know in 2 weeks. But your brother is so precious. He never complains and is such a positive natured person.
Well, I hope everyone has a good time Easter. Wish we could be there, but the drive is long and David's time off work is short, so we can't come right now. I think he is thinking of coming Labor Day if you all have something at Steve's.
I send to you much love.
Love and Prayers,
Julie

Julie, We will keep David in our prayer's. I'm sure his positive outlook is because he know's God is watching over him. We'll miss seeing you guys at Easter.
Trish, let Danny know he has been in our prayers, and we are so glad he is doing better.
The bench sounds really nice, we look forward to seeing it when it arrives.
Steve and Teresa, the pictures of the house are great, It really looks beautiful, can't wait to see it.
We are looking forward to being there Saturday for Easter with the family, but I don't know what to bring. We're not sure what everyone is bringing to eat, so if anyone knows of something that got left out, PLEASE let me know and thats what we'll bring. Tim suggests potato salad or macaroni salad, and extra chicken, let me know if any of these are needed and if not, I'll bring whatever is suggested.
We are bringing my grandson Justin, most of you met him at Lonnie's. We are hoping to bring Deagan too, just waiting to find out if he has other plans already. Is there anything I need to bring special for the kids?
We are going to miss everyone that can't make it.

Just got back from the oral surgeon in Roanoke and they got the abscessed tooth out without having to insert a drain and the doc thinks it will drain without any problems. Now if the biopsy results go as smoothly!
Our church will be sponsoring an Easter egg hunt at the Cadle farm on Saturday at 2p if any of the kids are interested in going to it. Also, Jacob has a ballgame Saturday at 5 so if you don't go to church that night you can come watch a ballgame;)

Monica the pictures of Marleigh are Sooooooo cute! I showed them to danny before I left last night and he said that she just made his day:>)
Mary was doing a little better this morning but will be there til at least Monday. Georgia was there visiting this morning.
Danny got home at 230 today. He had a stomach ache all night and of course didn't sleep well.
He got his biopsy today at dr. Lees office. Dr lee got a good bit of blood back and he said that was a good sign but he is sending it off just to make sure. He is still pretty miserable. In a lot of pain. His oxygen levels haVe been low the whole time he has been in the hospital. Usually running in the 80s. Not really sure why that is though.
We have been trying to get him an appt anywhere with an oral surgeon but no one could see him until mid may. I finally got one in Roanoke to see him on Monday and he is going to insert a drain and hopefully cut it out. Only bad thing is they are not in our network of doctors on our insurance, of course the ones that are can't see him, so in the words of daddy, "there ya are"

Yes Janet, I was thinking the same thing about Hank lol!! I'm sure he's used to driving on a dirt road but I could see him losing control real quick if he didn't slow down. I was a little confused though when he walked out of the office and was telling them to be careful. Maybe I didn't hear everything but the next thing I knew they were saying he was threatening them and from there I was lost for a few minutes :P I was glad to see that night shift finally made quota and the size of that generator, I didn't know they came that big :) Yal have fun on your trip to TN. Be on the lookout for Adam. He and a bunch of friends left today to go down there for a car show this weekend.
Hey Ya'll
Addy went to Rick Smith's office today about her taxes and his receptionist said that Rick had just left...got a call that his house was on fire. I don't know the extent of damage but if I find out, I will post. Remember him and his wife, Margie, in prayer. I think the wind is going to blow us off the map! We are under a heavy rain advisory.
Rita
Hello Everyone! Things are a little slow here today with Easter Parties and all. (With no good junk food, of course) Trish~ Thanks for the "jokes", I needed a good laugh this morning. Hope Danny is feeling better today.
Monica, If you want to get some stuff to color eggs with, that would be great! I have some, but only the ordinary ones. I think we should definitely let Kaiden, Clara and Marleigh tie-dye. (LOL) I am boiling eggs and have plasic too. Amy is bringing candy to stuff them.
What did everyone think if "Hank" the other night? I am pretty sure if he went flying down that hill the way it was portrayed, he would have been plowed over by a coal truck coming up the hill. Also, dad hasn't had a chance to watch the latest episode yet, but I told him that come to find out the outside man was the genius of the operation, and he said he already knew that. LOL
We are leaving in the morning for Pigeon Forge. I am looking ofrward to a week together without a schedule.
See you on Saturday! We'll miss the ones that can't be there!

The owner of a golf course was confused about paying an invoice, so he decided to ask his secretary for some mathematical help. He called her into his office and said, 'You graduated from WVU and I need some help. If I were to give you $20,000, minus 14%, how much would you take off?'
The secretary thought a moment, and then replied, 'Everything but my earrings.'
Oak Hill
A group of Fayette County friends went deer hunting and paired off in two's for the day. That night, one of the hunters returned alone, staggering under the weight of an eight-point buck. 'Where's Henry?' the others asked.
'Henry had a stroke of some kind. He's a couple of miles back up the trail,' the successful hunter replied.
'You left Henry laying out there and carried the deer back?' they inquired.
'A tough call,' nodded the hunter. 'But I figured no one is going to steal Henry!'
Boone County
The sheriff pulled up next to the guy unloading garbage out of his pick-up into the ditch. The sheriff asked, 'Why are you dumping garbage in the ditch? Don't you see that sign right over your head'.
'Yep', he replied. 'That's why I'm dumpin it here, 'cause it says 'Fine For Dumping Garbage'.
Huntington
A senior at Marshall was overheard saying, 'When the end of the world comes, I hope to be in West Virginia still.' When asked why, he replied he'd rather be in West Virginia because everything happens in West Virginia 20 years later than in the rest of the civilized world.
Morgantown
The young man from Morgantown came running into the store and said to his buddy, 'Bubba, somebody just stole your pickup truck from the parking lot!'
Bubba replied, 'Did you see who it was?'
The young man answered, 'I couldn't tell, but I got his license number.'
Beckley
A West Virginia State trooper pulled over a West Virginia registered pickup on I-77. The trooper asked, 'Got any I.D.?'
The driver replied, 'Bout whut?'
Clarksburg
A man in Clarksburg had a flat tire, pulled off on the side of the road, and proceeded to put a bouquet of flowers in front of the car and one behind it.. Then he got back in the car to wait.
A passerby studied the scene as he drove by and was so curious he turned around and went back. He asked the fellow what the problem was.
The man replied, 'I have a flat tire.'
The passerby asked, 'But what's with the flowers?'
The man responded, 'When you break down, they tell you to put flares in the front and flares in the back. Hey, it don't make no sense to me neither.'

Monica, just to let you know that was a magnolia tree in the pics of Marleigh, they are one of my favorites. I always wanted one and guess what, Daddy has one in the front yard that has blooms all over it.
Michelle, thanks for voting for my house and for your advise on the steps. We have got to build some kind of steps off the front porch, I hate not having steps to go out to the front yard. I'm glad that Joe will be coming home soon.
See everyone soon
Marleigh looks like she had a ball. Trish tell Dan to hang in there. Will try to get over tomorrow if he is still going to be there. I took the day off to try and finish up the electrical and plumbing in the kitchen. Here is another link to bite on Teresa's DIY yard contest. http://my.diynetwork.com/amdl-2011/Other-Regions/house-of-blues/detail.esi?oid=23892334
Love and prayers to all.
Well we aren't going anywhere today except in the hallway. His blood cultures have shown no growth after 24hours but we have to wait for the 48 hours to see and then they continue to grow for up to a week. The culture of his abscess came back as strep so she wants to wait another day and get more IV antibiotics on board before he goes home. His jaw has went down but still trying to find an oral surgeon that can get him in to drain this thing. Dr Hanes said she had a drill and all she would have to do is drill a hole in the jaw bone:/ I think he would go for that! The surgeon came by at 1 and said he would do the biopsy between 3 and 4. All we have to do is go to his office. This is for the area on his left upper chest. It has grown in size from 7cmX7cm to 9cmX8cm in just one month. They call it an organized hematoma but dr. Lee the surgeon wants to make sure. If he aspirates old blood then it's a hematoma if no blood then he will send it off to see just what it is. His spirits are very very low, he isn't fond of hospitals or doctors.
Thanks for all the prayers, I have been reading the blog and facebook to him, between the two there are a lot of people praying.
Roger and Juanita Keeney came by and Susan Hutsenpiller and Emma, that cheered him up. Emma is learning how to tell knock knock jokes so that was fun:)
We got word this morning that Leroy Crane died last night. He was past 90! He got short of breath and went to the ER and that's where he died. He married me and Danny almost 27 years ago! He called me when mommy and daddy both died and sent cards.
Michelle I feel like singing that song the two guys used to sing on Hee Haw, If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all. And from the sound of things there it's true about what they say about Germans, they know how to handle their beer-or maybe they just know how to drink it.
Teresa I tried to go to that website and vote but I couldn't find your yard, I searched for the name and still couldn't get it.
Thanks again for all the prayers!

Hello from Germany! I know I always put that, but it is fun :) Now the Treadway blog is international, LOL.
Happy anniversary to all that had anniversaries. Happy birthday to all the March birthdays. I am praying for Danny. Wow, Trish, you just cannot get ahead. You need to be anointed to receive blessings. Seriously. Congratulations on your wedding, Timmy and Cindy. It looked beautiful. I especially liked the llama. I always think of "Napoleon Dynamite" when I see those.
Teresa, you need a winding staircase coming off that porch which would give it a very unique look and would reflect your love for antiques. And tall roses all on the front of the house. But that is just my suggestion :) I voted for your house.
Love all the pictures on the blog. I need to take some and post them. Your Easter plans sound so nice. It is big over here, but I swear, the Germans always find a way to include beer, lots of it, and then they are all drunk and stinky. LOL. I think I will just take Toria and Aleya to the base Easter egg hunt. It will be their last one, then they are all grown up.
Less than 7 weeks until Joe is home. He is doing great now, stitches out, all healed up, no headaches, and counting days until he is away from sandstorms. He said they have tornado looking funnels, some as big as a house, but it is just sand, and they follow you. Then the bottom of it lifts up and points at you, following you, like it is drawn by static electricity or something. He said it is very eerie.
Love to you all! Michelle and girls

I entered my yard for a full make over on DIY network. You should go there and rate my yard. I labeled it "House of blues" so please help by going there and giving it a 5 star rating. Thanks for your help.
Teresa~ It will probably take both of us to feed this bunch! A 50 piece tray is around $30.00. It is $59.00 for 100 piece. If you want we can each get a 50 piece tray unless you think we need to get the 100 piece. I am not great at planning amounts. Let me know!
Trish~ We are praying for you and Danny. Tell him we love him:)
Amy~ I will take care of the plastic and boiled eggs. I thknk I can handle boiling an egg...maybe!

I didn't read the blog yesterday, so I just found out about Danny. I'm really sorry to hear about the problems and if there is anything that I can do just let me know. Danny, we love you and are praying for you. Please keep us in touch.
Janet, I was going to get some chicken. If you want to get it thats ok but if you want you can get some I and I can get some also. Just let me know.
Monica, I did get my appliances but my counter top will not be here until next Tuesday, hopefully. I wanted this project done before Easter.
I talked to him this morning and he is feeling a bit better. Some of the swelling is gone down now. He received IV antibiotics during the night and that is helping tremendously. The doctor read the ECHO last night before I left and said he didn’t see any mechanical malfunction of the valve but they didn’t get really good pictures because he has such a thick chest wall-they never have been able to get good photos even at UVA. The cardiologist mentioned they may want to do a Trans Esophageal Echo- that is where they would go down the throat with the camera and get really really close up pictures. So for right now that’s about all we know. This started with an abscessed tooth. Anytime he has any type of upper respiratory infection it can travel right to his heart. So I guess we just sit and wait.

Emily, we will be praying for Danny also :) Rita, you spelled it right lol!! Happy Anniversary Paul, Addy, Andy & Kim. I'm not sure yet what I will be bringing. When we get groceries, maybe tomorrow, I'll look around and see what I can find and let you know. Teresa, did you get your appliances yesterday? That picture of Kaiden looks like he might be with papaw at his work :P
Hey everybody,
Daddy has had an infected tooth and went today to have it looked at and they ended up admitting him to the hospital to look to see if the infection was also in his heart, which would be dangerous with his artificial valve. He also has A big hematoma on his chest from pulling a muscle months ago that they are gonna look at and may have to cut out. Dr. Hanes mentioned sending him to Charlottesville so they can monitor his heart and everything. So please just pray they can find and fix everything that is wrong. Thanks!
Just got to say it...you asked for it...I knew who that was from as soon as I read the first Please...and Janet, feel free to BUY anything else your plan to bring...already cooked!!
I'm going today to order the bench for the cemetery. I will let you know what it costs. (Is that right? Do you add an S at the end?) I always learn so much from my mistakes...especially on here.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me bring Wal-mart chicken. I figured that was on the no-no list since it wasn't home-made. I am pretty sure I can't mess that up! How much should I get? I will be coming through Princeton so that works out well. I'll bring other stuff too, just not sure what yet. If I make it and it burns, then I have to get creative. If I leave it a surprise, not one has to ask why I didn't bring something~ LOL! Looking forward to seeing everyone.
Happy Anniversary Paul and Addy!
Happy Anniversary Paul and Addy!

Congrats, Addy and Paul, I forgot that your anniversary was this month also. Are you guys going anywhere to celebrate? Andy and Kim are going to Virginia Beach for a long weekend. Rita, I like your porch. Blain you did a wonderful job with the desk and cabinet. I'm impressed! Also Rita I can pick up some chicken from Walmart, is there someone else that can pick up some also. I guess every family needs to bring their own blankets to set out on the ground to eat on? I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.
Addy
Congratulations to Paul and Addy on their Anniversary today. She had to call and remind me but...Also, She wanted to put on the blog that she has been hired at Meadow Bridge for next year. It's official. She will be teaching 7th and 8th grade science and 10th grade Biology. She is soooo excited. She will be 5 minutes from work. Both Janet and Addy are 5 min. from work. We aren't 5 minutes from anything!! Oh Yeah, the barn!

Morning All
Brooks isn't old enough to eat Spaghetti! Is he?? These Wee Ones are growing too fast. It's about time for an announcement of some kind...!!! He is so cute...Don't know WHO he takes all those good looks from. What I MEAN is, there are just so many good looking relatives!!
For those of you in VA, I'm so glad you are all alright. Don't worry much about those Ohioans bc they are use to these Tornado's and they have Bomb shelters built, but for you guys who never have these, I was alittle concerned.
We need to kinda' get a feel for what everyone is bringing to the picnic. I will bring a picnic table and Banana Pudding, Potato Salad and a dessert. What are we going to do about the chicken? Are we going to fry it or would someone like to buy it from say, Wal-Mart or the Dawson Store. It is much more expensive from the Dawson Store, but then so is gas to run to Lewisburg. I know this bc I checked prices last Sept for Charlie and June's Anniversary. I bought it at WalMart. If you guys would weigh in with your contributions, we will make sure we have enough. Please tell your family members who may not read the blog. Keep the food simple, don't make it a chore...the idea is to just get together...We could have just as good a time with a Bolognie Sandwich...Ok, Monica...maybe not!!!

Just wanted to share this with everyone...
Chet was at church for both services today with a smile and praising the Lord. He is such a blessing. He was talking about how he will go back to work next week and the Lord's timing was perfect because that will help him get his mind on other things. Continue to keep him and the girls in your prayers.

Thanks for the report from Va about the Tornadoes. Praise the Lord they stayed away from everyone. We have been near and in a few and they were always very scary. trish Julie said to tell you her foot she had surgery on is improving. She is out of the Aircast, wore the surgical shoe only a short time and is now back in the SAS shoe into which the brace will go again as soon as all swelling is down and the doctor gives her the green light. She now walls without the crutches . . . those were a pain. Congratulations Timmy and Cindy! Hope you enjoying your honeymoon and make it safely back home. Teresa and Steve, the improvements/cabinets/paint job look terrific! Rita, Blain, I love your back porch, looks very comfy. Blain you did a great job on it.
Love to everyone and let me say Happy Easter to all!!
Love to everyone and let me say Happy Easter to all!!
Rita, I like your back porch :P It looks so bright but that stove does give it that cozy feeling. Tell Blain he did a great job on his carpentry :) Cindy, I didn't know you had children so close to us. I'm glad you both are enjoying your honeymoon. Where did you go? I heard someone mention earlier your pics looked like Pilot Mt. Thank you all for your prayers again. As far as I know we just had a thunderstorm yesterday evening and nothing more, Praise the Lord again!!! Since it is still the weekend and with our work schedule I've yet to catch the local news on TV. I checked the websites for them this morning and it looks like they have finally let the news crews into the devastated areas. They had a curfew in affect last night from 8 pm-6 am and I would imagine it will be that way for several days. I'm no meteorologist and don't know alot about the weather except for what I see on the news/tv but I'm amazed that the tornado was able to cross Draper Mt. and not lose any momentum or fizzle out. Mark said that yesterday evening as he went past Draper you could see where it came across the interstate into Draper after crossing the mt. Trish, I would agree with you about the mountains keeping your winter in lol!! I'm hoping the winter weather is finished for this season and spring is around the corner. It's 77 degrees right now, just perfect :) Janet, I can get stuff to decorate the boiled eggs. How many do you think I need to get for? Hope everyone has a blessed week.
3 pictures for you

Happy Anniversary to Andy and Kim, and Monica and Mark. We're looking forward to having some of those ourselves. Teresa and Steve, the house looks amazing, can't wait to see it in person. We are having one of the most wonderful and relaxing times we've ever had in our lives.

Monica, our prayers are with you. My daughter Chasity and her husband Chris lives in the town of Pulaski. When we spoke, she said their window got busted in by the storm last night, and they haven't had electricity since yesterday evening. They are ok and not injured.
Yes Janet, that is what happens when your mind jumps ahead of you LOL!! Thanks for the congrats everyone :) We had an eventful anniversary. We had to work last night and if any of you haven't heard we were in tornado valley yesterday evening up through the night. From what I've heard we had 1(for sure), possibly 2 tornadoes in the town of Pulaski, 1 in Draper, 1 in Willis (Floyd County) and 1 in Bluefield that was headed this way but never heard anything else about that one. There is so much area in the town of Pulaski and the County around the town that is blocked off by law enforcement. The National Guard has been called in to help and a state of emergency has been called. I've heard that two areas are no more pretty much, they were leveled. There is a lot of damaged but only minimal injuries have been reported and no fatalities Praise the Lord!! I found myself praying at work, while we were just waiting to see what was going to happen next, not only for our safety but the people around these tornadoes. Dad's sister and one of his brothers live in the town and at this time we weren't sure what had been hit. Pulaski is only about 8 minutes from us and Draper maybe 10 minutes. We had several bad thunderstorms here with hail and it seemed like it was lightening constantly for 5 hours. If yal want to see any of this the local news websites are WSLS.com and WDBJ.com. Mark says we're in for round 2 this evening with tornado and thunderstorm warnings/watch until 9 and as I type this I can hear the thunder rolling. Keep us in your prayers as always. Love to all :)
Sorry we did'nt get more pictures posted. the connection is slowwwwww here. will post more when we get home. Love to you all from Timmy and Cindy
Why you should read the blog from the bottom up
I started reading (skimming) at the top and saw congrats to Mark and Monica as well as Andy and Kim. So I immediatly scrolled down to see if we were getting new additions to the family, only to realize it is only their anniversary. I was a little disappointed! Congratulations anyway on your anniversary!
Tim and Cindy, Congratulations! I knew why conrats were in order for you two! LOL
Is anyone surprised that MSHA is all over Cobalt? They are probably part of the huge fan base, just like we are. Fortunatly, they made enough money from this production that they can afford to pay any fines that may come up. Haha

Monica, Kelsey sent me and her dad a pic of her and uncle Tim. Sorry but they didn't post that one on the blog.
Also as of 8:00 Friday evening me and Steve finished installing our kitchen cabinets. We just need to put the hardware on and put the shelves in. The appliances and counter top are coming Monday morning. We also have crown molding and light rail to install on the cabinets.
Congrads Monica and Mark!!! Andy and Kims first anniversary is April 17.

Welcome to the Family..You can't say you didn't know what you were gettin' in to! Is that Pilot Mountain, NC? It looks like it. Timmy, you know what they say...The Third time is a charm.
Blain watched "Coal" for the first time last night. The first thing he said was, "They ain't wearin' their Safety Glasses." and from there it went on and on. When they started runnin' out of the mines at the end, he came off of the couch and said, "Now that's Drama." It is fun to watch it with him bc he explains alot. But he said, most of it was the real deal!

Emily~ You are a natural! Those pictures were great and better than anything I could have gotten anywhere else. I plan to do some advertising for you when I show off these pictures that your mom made me.
Trish~ I love the Easter basket and thanks for "enduring" my kids yesterday.
For all of you "COAL" fans, Matthew works on the jacks that go on that miner and the scoop. I didn't know this until last week. I wasn't really sure what he did~ LOL! Anyway, is anyone else out there thinking that Andy should just run the mine by himself? Next week...drug testing! Should be interesting.
Thanks to all of you that were praying for us yesterday. It was so much harder than I imagined it could be. Teresa, Steve, and Elliot, thank you for being there. Steve, I especially appreciate you wearing suspenders for my benefit. It was very moving:)
Love to you all!
Janet

Rita, let Blain know we love him and are still praying for all of the family. Emily, I loved the pics. Yal look like 2 peas in a pod lol. Janet, I want a pic of Steve with suspenders on and explain some more on this jungle gym? I fixed lasagna today and used Paul's sauce recipe. It was good :P We watched Coal tonight as well. Did anyone watch "Extreme Couponing" on TLC? It came on at 8pm, 9 and 930. All different episodes. If you're wondering, it's about people who are a little on the obsessive side ( I think) of using coupons. These people go and spend $600-$1200 (just the episodes tonight) using in-store sales, in-store coupons and clipped coupons and pay most of the time less than 10% of the retail value. One lady paid $6.97 of $687 worth of groceries. I couldn't believe it!! She had a box with her that had 2500 coupons in it. They also buy alot of bulk so that means they have to have a place to put it. Looks like they have a small grocery store in their house. It seemed like most of them were shopping at Kroger's. I'm going to have to check into their in-store coupons and sales and may have to do some checking into this myself. Monday evening while I was getting Marleigh's bath water ready I noticed that when I would breathe I would have a sharp pain in the center of the right side of my back. We had played outside that evening so I thought I might have pulled a muscle although I didn't recall having any pain while outside. I put her to bed and tried to lay down on the couch but that didn't help. I took some Excedrine and went to bed at 930 hoping it would go away. It didn't. I couldn't lay on my back or my stomach because that seemed to make it worse. I tried laying on my left side with my arm and leg on top of a body pillow and if I didn't hold my limbs the right way it would get worse. The only relief I seemed to get was laying on my right side but I still couldn't take a full breath without pain. This lasted all night, I got no sleep. I did pray at some point in the night and I think I might have got about 30 minutes of sleep at that time. I finally got up that morning a little after 8, took a shower and called the dr. He's thinking that the bottom of my right shoulder blade is digging into the outer lining of my lung causing irritation and inflamation thus causing the pain. He said that it may have come from carring Marleigh and maybe turning the wrong way. He told me not to be carring her for a few days :( Well that only lasted a few hours that day. I have tried not to pick her up as much and if I have to I try to put most of the weight on my left arm. He put me on an anti-inflamitory and it feels so much better now but I still feel a little glitch near the bottom of my shoulder blade. I had never heard of such before but I'm glad to be feeling almost back to normal :P When I got my prescription filled that morning I just wanted to get the meds in my system so the pain would go away so I took the first pill with a glass of milk like he told me. We then headed to Christiansburg, had lunch, then went to the mall to walk around a little bit. My stomach started cramping something awful, I was almost in a sweat. I took off to the restroom and for the first couple minutes nothing happened. I was so confused and started thinking the dr had the wrong diagnoses. Then it hit me..........I have not had the runs like that in some time, I can't even remember when. And it wasn't just once but twice and then as soon as we got home. Needless to say I told Mark we were going to have to leave the mall early lol!! I got home and read the information that came on my prescription and it said to take with food (which I didn't at first) and that diarreha could be a side effect. Thus, the lesson of that day was " read the instuctions and information before taking medicine no matter HOW much pain you are in" LOL!! By the way, does anyone know if we are going to have an Easter Egg hunt that weekend?
Olivia and Kaiden came and stayed for a while at Mommy's Sunday while Zac and I were there. We painted nails and did hair and read books. Olivia really liked taking pictures with me on my computer. =D
Rita, tell Blain we're praying for him.
I'm off to watch Coal and get to bed...I have a physics test at 8 tomorrow. =P
The new background is sooo pretty. The funeral was beautiful. Blain's Dad picked out her dress and it was so springy. There was a lot of people there...with visitation and the funeral together...some came and went and some came and stayed. Blain's mom's church and Janet's (Cindy's) church went together and fed everybody afterwards and they had sooo much food but it was sooo good. Blain didn't want to go eat after we left the cemetery so he just came home and he has gone back to the cemetery alone. He is having a hard time, still pray for him.
Elliot, Steve, and Teresa...thank you for coming. It meant alot to Blain and for those of you who couldn't, we know your thoughts and prayers were with us today.

Our new background is called Come To The Table. When I think of Easter, I always think of our get togethers and eating. Mommy would start right after Christmas practically with her store list and who was coming and what are we going to EAT! That was always her worry. So I thought this background was fitting. The little blinkie on the side is for fun! LOL
I know what grandpa would say, "Where are all of my clocks?" Lol Grandma would love it:)
I forgot to post this on the blog for a few of you who took part in the teasing of Steve (Tanner, Emily, Monica, Andy, ect.) I went up there the other day and YES he actually had suspenders on. He sure is doing a good job filling grandpa's shoes. It drew me back to reality when he talked about taking two of those trees and making them into a jungle- gym. I quickly realized it was still Steve. If he has us all out there picking up rotten apples, we'll have to tell him he has gone too far!
Trish~ Matthew called me this morning and said that he was telling the kids good-bye, but they just kept on trucking it through the house. He said that Olivia talked the whole way there about their "secret" for Easter. Guess they were excited. Hope they went back to bed for you. I'll call you later to let you know what the plan is.
I am at school and getting ready to go to the funeral. Please remember my dad, Vanessa. Chet, the girls, and grandma & grandpa in your prayers today as well as the rest of the family. I know today will be hard for everyone.
As I was reading what Trish wrote, I thought about the time (or times) when Cindy, Trish and I were on the Ferris Wheel at the Fair. I think we went to the "The Whites"?
Anyway, Hope you all have a good day! Love to you all:)

Teresa the house looks really good! I think mommy would love it. You did her proud. Not sure what daddy would have to say:) lol
It's unreal about Cindy. She and I became good friends when rita and blain hooked up. We were close in age and we liked a lot of the same things. Of course as we grew older we grew apart but whenever we would see each other at ritas and Blains for get togethers we would always catch up. She truly loved her family. I am so glad they came back to the church. Chet will really need them now and cindys family too since he doesn't have many of his own left. Not sure if many of you know this but chets aunt is married to Juanita Treadways brother, Lawrence. Her name is Norma and they moved back to the Patterson home place several years ago but then sold it to Donna and murrel.
Looks like Cindy will have a beautiful day to go home to heaven and I bet mom and dad will be there to show her around and will put a big spread on the table. I am pretty sure dumplins will be on the menu, because as I recall, Cindy liked home cooking:)
I have the pleasure of being entertained by Olivia and Kaiden today. They just got up and we are all in my bed watching COAL. They are finding it quite interesting.
Michelle I am enjoying all of your family on facebook. I can't wait to see more pictures of Joe in Afghanistan. And seeing Tarin in prom dresses? I didn't realize until I saw how grown up she is going to the prom that Tanner is only a year and a half older than her! Will Joe get to come home after his accident? Is he still recuperating? Back to work?
Monica it sounds like your "little one" isn't so little anymore. Already a toddler, walking and talking, next thing you know SHE will be picking out her prom dress!
Julie how are you doing? My feet are giving me fits but seems to be tendons and muscles, not so much bones. I have been doing physical therapy and that seems to help.
Well better get breakfast, we are having chocolate chip pancakes! Yum

Vonda- my islands top is glass tiles they are small little squares that are random in color but they are put on a backing that makes them a 13" x 13" sections so it wasnt as hard as it looks. Steve just put a thin set on it and put the tile sections on and dark grout on it. I think it turned out great. Hope everyone is doing ok. Love you all!

Matthew & I told Olivia and Kaiden about Cindy the other night and Olivia being the worrier that she is, looked very concerned until I told her that Cindy was in Heaven. She pondered for a minute and then smiled and said, "I bet she is with Grandma Treadway. Maybe they are having dumplins:)"
I wanted to share another miracle with you all that happened the other evening. I had gone up to Steve's to get some furniture the other day and I am pretty sure that he stuffed as much as he could in the empty drawers as I was leaving. He denies, but I am not so sure. Anyway, we were all having a good laugh at all the things that papaw kept. Several days later, I was going through the thousands of greeting cards that ended up in the drawers, and out fell a picture. As most of you know, I only knew my biological grandparents for a short time and have very few keepsakes or pictures of them. Well, guess what that picture was of? My grandpa!

Rita, we hadn't been on the blog in a while. Please know you are all in our prayers. Please extend our condolences to Blain and the family, Timmy & Cindy
We would like to announce our Wedding to the family. We are to be married Thursday April 7th, 2011. We have planned a small informal ceremony at the church in Radford which Tim and Steve helped build. Pastor Dallas Vines is going to do the ceremony.
At this point in our lives, we didn't feel the need for a big ceremony, it will be just the two of us with Kelsey as a witness. Keep us in your prayers as we start out on this wonderful journey together. We love you all, Timmy & Cindy

Cindy passed this morning at 6:45. Her BP had dropped through the night continuously and the family went on to the hospital and Chet decided to go ahead and take her off of the ventilator. The family was all with her when she passed. I will let you know when the arrangements have been made. Thank you all for the Prayers.
