Someone a little attached to the new dog?
Well first of all, Emily and Zac aren't going alone...or I would be worried. They are traveling with experienced campers. They took enough food to feed an army. Steaks and the likes...not your regular camp food. They have a tent plus they are camping with a 4 and a 2 year old, so they will be okay.
Me and "No Name" have bonded you might say. She has definately been a house dog. She is the sweetest little thing. Rode in the van like she has been doing it all her life. When I picked her up I put her in the seat beside of me and she laid right down and laid her head on the edge of the seat. As I drove (Old 60) she inched her head then her body closer to me when I wasn't looking. First her head was in the middle on my purse, then on the edge of my seat then she was in my lap! She lays on my shoulder like a baby. She gets in the dog bed like she owns it. But anyway I guess she will go to grandma's this morning

I don't worry about them going hungry, but I do worry about them getting lost without a GPS. I doubt that the camp toilet is in the Garmin, and then if they make it to the toilet, how will they get back to their campsite? Are they home yet???? It's after 10:00, for goodness sake:)
I like the name Cricket but we may not be naming that dog! Trish????
So it is now Friday evening and the way I have it figured, Emily and Zack are camping without electricity I am assuming. So they should be back home any minute because I doubt if they have wireless in the woods. I don't know about everyone else, but I laughed out loud when i read that those two were going camping. Not that i am any better, but does anyone else have a mental picture of those two starving to death lost in the wilderness with no cell phone service or GPS. LOL
Janet,
Great minds think alike!! I was thinking of TUT2 also after I thought about it. TUT2, TUT2, zee plane, zee plane (lol).
Mom's dog sure is cute , but those eyes,a good name for her would be Cricket, those eyes look like a cricket, but she is really cute.
Steve tell Kelsey , I would love to be there for the cook out with you guys, but her gift is in the mail so be watching for it. Hope you all have a great time , I know you will, just hope the weather is pretty too.
Will Mommy's dog get any bigger? It certainly is cute.
Hey all,

Zac and I are going camping this weekend at Watoga. Like real camping, in a tent. I've never done it before, but we'll see how it goes... I'll be sure to let you know. ;)

The dog is adorable! I like bug.

Everybody have a good weekend!

Thursday, May 28, 2009

What a cutie! How about TUT2? I am glad that mom is keeping Penny because my kids have become pretty attached. Penny is probably praying for her old home back or a new home without two kids trying to ride her like a horse all the time. Kaiden is pretty rough on her. Steve- tell Kelsey that I am sorry that I won't be able to come to her party because we have a Title I thing at school that day. I thought I could get out of it, but it turns out I can't. Tell her to be watching for her gift in the mail though! Sorry again and thank you for the invite. I'll miss being there.
I like Sandy, and Bug is too cute. With those big eyes she kind of looks like a bug.
someone else suggested Ginger, Ginger Snaps are Mommys favorite cookie. I am afraid Mommy will call her Tut, no matter what her name is! LOL

Wednesday, May 27, 2009

Instead of a puggle, you sure she's not a bug (lol). I think she looks like the color of sand, how about Sandie? She is precious, what a wonderful idea you two!! I'm sure grandma will be so excited.

Mommy's Birthday Present

This is the newest member of the family. Me and Rita went to the animal shelter and adopted her today, but she can't come home til Friday. Mommy thinks she is getting Rita's stray pup that showed up at her house, but they decideded to keep her. So this is mine and Ritas birthday present to Mommy. She is part Pug and part Beagle, Puggle. Her name at the shelter is Gypsy but we are looking for something else that will be easy for Mommy to remember!
Any ideas?

I am right in the middle of the state of Tennessee in Williamson county right under Nashville. About 30 miles out.
LOve the hands! and if you don't know, that is Mommys apron that the hands are on! Clara just wasn't very cooperative with her hands! She either wanted them out of the picture or her whole body in there!

Monday, May 25, 2009

I love the picture of the hands. That will always be a treasure. I hate that I missed such an importnat event. We enjoyed the much needed rest. Headed home tomorrow. What part pf TN is Janis in? If you guys keep those adorable pictures coming...well, you know!
Looks like everyone had a good time! We wish we could have been there. Clara is as beautiful as I imagined! I just think our family is really blessed to have such amazing photographers!

If only these hands could talk. The stories they would tell! Can you tell whose hands are whose? :)
The pictures of Mommie and Clara are to precious for words, and Amy looks like she is in Heaven also, it's just beautiful what a new life will do to you . I know Mommie was just thrilled beyond words , she sure loves her babies, and Dad looked like he was enjoying it also; hope everyone had a great week end, the weather here is great too.
Rita, Yes I have heard of the leather britches < I have seen them hanging on strings in kitchens to dry.
I had just mentioned to Mark today about Janet and her trips to Tennessee!!!

Ah man I LOVED the Old Mill. I think that was my favorite place that we ate the whole week. So much food...and the chowder and peach cobbler were amazing!

And I agree, Amy is a natural! I think Greg is pretty happy being a daddy too!

Here are a few more pictures from earlier today.

Sunday, May 24, 2009

Mom- Not every time. Those pics of Clara certainly are giving me the fever though. It is probably a good thing that I was far away this weekend. We had a ball at the zoo and today at at the aquarium. We had dinner with Addy & Paul at the Old Mill- had a nice time. We decided not to come home until Tuesday- having too much fun and the kids are being so good!
Clara is a little angel!! I love the black and white of mommy holding her all snuggled up. It was taken as soon as they got there. It's hard to picture Amy with a baby, but she is natural. I doubt that Clara will be an only child.
Janis, Have you ever heard of leather britchy beans? Both Addy and Janet went to Tennessee this weekend. Janet to the Knoxville Zoo and Addy to Pigeon Forge. Everytime Janet goes to Tennessee, she comes back pregnant! O MY WORD!!
Steve, you just wait til you get grandbabies!!! You'll wear out your camera the first day!! Blain said it best this evening "There ain't nothin any sweeter"!
Rita - Nice pic of the flag! You can take something other than grandkids after all. lol.

Emily - Nics pics also. I'll bet grandma was excited to hold the little one. She sure is precious. Wish we could have been there. When do they have to go back?
Emily,
Those pictures are precious. I hope everyone has a good time at grandma's this weekend and abroad. I told the guy at work that I was apparently a "leather britches" outcast (lol). I don't know how I missed out on those but I have. If everyone has all these memories of these beans how come I've never heard anyone mention them? Suspicious I think ? :) Love to all!!

Here are a few pictures of Clara Vivian and Grandma Vivian from today!

Are you liking it here in Tennessee . I just love it I just wish the rain would go away for awhile , it is suppose to rain until next Friday 50% Every day until Friday.I guess I am going to mow my grass in the rain ha ha.
Hey everyone! Love hearing what's new with you. I am with Addy and wondering where Monica grew up. I have seen those beans on the little house and wondered who in their right mind would eat them. If grandma & grandpa ever read this blog, they would laugh at all of us. We are in Tennesse and having a wonderful time. The kids are being good. They just went right to sleep after a day at the zoo. We had a good time and are making plans for tomorrow. Hope everyone is good and don't forget to take lots of pictures of Clara. Love to all!

Friday, May 22, 2009

Addy~I have all Steve's pics on a Memory stick that you can borrow!!!!!!! By the way, Your dad is wearing 34 pants now and Medium shirts if you need an idea for Father's Day. He is ALL THAT!! He weighed 193.4 this morning, that is a 42 lb. loss in 4 mos. tomorrow. I am at 136.4 this morning and I am going to 135 and going to try to hold steady. Let me tell you how Redneck Blain is!! As if you all don't already know. He has been taking up notches on his "work" belt, it was a 38-40. Well he ran out of notches, so rather than go buy a new belt (and he can surely afford one), he cut about 4 inches off and started making new holes. I know you are rollin', Monica!!!!
I talked to Leitha, Janis' sister, although I didn't know it was her, and she will be on the blog soon, hopefully. Can't wait to see Mommy's namesake tomorrow. I know, I will have to stand in line to get ahold of her.
Well it looks like Monica was one of the lucky ones that didn't get leather britchey beans shoved down her throat. I remember sitting at grandma's table choking them down because Trish threatened not to take me to the fair if I didn't eat those beans. YUCK! I've never eaten them since. Between having to gag down mashed potatoes and beans no wonder I never ate my beggies when I was a kid! I used to hate dinner time...but I've definitely made up for it since then! Ummm...I've been trying to look at pictures from the reception and I don't have a disk from either Steve or Emily and the other one won't even play. I have Monica's and Marcia's pictures and that's it. Any way you guys could get that to Mom this weekend?
Beautiful picture Rita, the fog behind the flag is awesome.
Monica where have you been! Grandma has been drying green beans on the roof since I was a kid. I called the other evening and she and grandpa were eating leather britchey beans then. I like them with cornbread. yum yum.
Rolling thunder in Rainelle this week. I am going this morning with Emily to see. Me and Emma will walk the streets with her, Emma HATES motorcycles. Jacob can't even ride his while she is here. She runs and hides and says "no mo cycles!"
Emily you need to put some pictures that you took of grandpas flowers on here. They turned out really good.
Janet and Addy hope you guys have a great time on your weekend away from home.
I am anxiously awaiting meeting Clara on Saturday! I love babies!!

I took this from my front porch one afternoon when the fog was coming in. What do you think, Steve and Emily?
Posted by Picasa
Monica~Grandma has been making those for years!!! Only it sounds like those were not cooked and grandma cooks hers. She puts bacon grease in them and cooks them just like green beans, she also cans them. They taste like a cross between green beans and dried beans. Blain says it is an acquired taste and he hasn't been able to acquire it yet, just like pickled corn!!! YumYum!! I can't believe Grandma hasn't tried to give you some.
80 degrees is looking good for the next week (probably 90 in VA) Almost got all my garden in, Now the fun begins. I wish "Someone" would come up with a weed killer that you could plow in the dirt and it would only kill the weeds but let the plants grow. I mean, come on, we can put people in space!! How hard could it be?? LOL
Steve, I have tried to blog a picture and it won't work, but I can send it to (our sister's) blog with no problem. Any idea what's wrong?
Took some pictures of Tanner today...actually got him to smile in a couple!

Thursday, May 21, 2009

Have any of you ever heard of "leather britches" (it is food)? I had a co-worker bring some to work last night and they were so neat!! For those of you who might be wondering what they are, they are dried green beans. These had a little bit of salt on them but they taste like a potatoe chip or cracker. I was impressed. When the guy set the little baggie of them on the desk, one of them fell out onto the desk. I heard it and thought he was trying to get me to eat a plastic bean (haha).

Get lots of pictures of Clara for us- Olivia wants one for her purse!
I hate that we're going to miss everybody this weekend, but Paul and I are taking off too. We are heading to Pigeon Forge til Monday. Hope you all have a good time! If you're going to be in town the big car show is Saturday evening starting at 4:00 in Rainelle. They're having fireworks and all that too.
Good morning all,
Rita and I took Mom and Dad to the doctors yesterday. Mommy to the eye doctor and Daddy to ortho to get injections in his hands for the arthritis. Mommy had had some hemorrhages in her eyes a few months ago and he was afraid she had some blockages in her carotid arteries, but this time they were almost all gone and she doesn't have to do anything different and go back in 6 months.
Daddy got injections in both of his hands for the carpal tunnel and arthritis. The doctor tried to talk him into surgery but he didn't want to go for that and I don't really blame him. They just scheduled him to come back in the fall for more injections.

Awesome! I have been dying to go to a zoo for a long time! I think we are going to go to the one in Columbus sometime in July for our anniversary.

Can't wait to meet Clara this weekend!
We are taking the kids to the Knoxville Zoo! Anybody been there? This is our first time.
WOW, I didn't know Andy was engaged also, Boy I guess I am way out of the loop. These kids are just growing up too fast for me.but Congratulations Adam and Andy.

Monday, May 18, 2009

Janet where are you headed on a trip?
Vonda,
As far as I know Andy is the other grandchild that's engaged. If there is anyone else, I'm not aware of them.
Congratulations Adam and Carrie!!! How exciting. I heard that baby Clara is coming to West Virginia this weekend and that makes me want to cancel our trip. I hate that we will miss her (Amy & Greg, too) I asked Olivia which baby she wanted to take on vacation...meaning baby doll. She said, "Baby Clara." I told her that I didn't think her mommy would let her go and she said, "Why, did she get a time-out?" It was really funny. By the way, my mommy doesn't know what it's like to be called in the middle of the night, right mom?
WOW! OH WOW! I cant believe all these kids getting married. just blows my mind , what little I have left, Yes, and now I really feel old .ancient Old. So besides Adam , who else is getting engaged?I cant even keep up.Boy our family clan is really starting to grow , with all these kids growing up.Time fly's.
Trish , I hope the One thing Mom never forgets is how to pray, for her family when they need here. but I don't think that will happen, she has a direct line to the Almighty, I think,Do I here an AMEN on that .As for us here I think it's going to be a beautiful day

Amen

Amen!!
Amen!!

Congrats! I knew it wouldn't be long. Its hard to believe all of these little sprouts are actually sprouting! Before you know it Jacob will be announcing he is getting married!! Now how scary is that!!! Monica, you and Mark had better get busy in the baby department before some of these new little sprouts beat you in that department. I know Bobbie just can't wait to be grandma! I, on the other hand, am in no hurry Emily!!! I have plenty of kids that can call me Mamaw or TT. I guess the only ones left to have grandkids are Daniel,Bobbie, Me and Steve! WOW. when you look at it like that it does make me feel old.
Colin called me this evening to "reserve" his room for Friday and he said that Amy and Clara was coming with him. He sounded very excited, although I can see Colin when the baby starts crying for no reason and she won't be quiet, "Amy make her be quiet, its your baby! shes giving me a headache! Amy, I'm going to tell Mom!" Even though you grow up and get married AND have babies it doesn't mean you can't come crying to Mommy every now and again. I know I have cried to my Mommy many times. More since I have gotten married AND had kids than when I didn't. There are many times I remember after having kids that I would call Mommy in the middle of the night and say "are you awake?" duh its 3am! But she always says I am just laying here awake. She was waiting on my phone call, And after I would burden her with my problem, no matter if it was Tanner and the croup, Emily with a fever, or Jacob with a leg cramp or ear ache; she would pray with me on the phone, and whether the kids felt better or not I did. And usually after the phone call they would go to sleep, but I am sure Mommy didn't. She probably prayed right on. So you kids getting married and having babies, don't forget you got Moms out there praying for you. And if your Mom isn't available, you can always call one of your aunts or your grandma, we know how to pray too. And believe me, Grandma has forgotten some things, like how to turn on the oven or how to follow a recipe. Or even a name or two, but be assured she hasn't forgotten how to pray!!

Sunday, May 17, 2009

Congratulations, Adam and Carrie!! Have they set a date?? I just cant' believe these kids are all grown up!! That makes us seem oldER!! Not that we ARE, mind you. And I had better not see any LOL's!!!
Adam proposed to Carrie last night and she said yes!! I guess that's two weddings in the making so far for our family. It's gotten quite chilly here today, nothing like yesterday.
Janet - It's nice that others can share in your "Incident". lol
My second graders had to talk about their most embarrassing moment the other day at school, so I told them about the 4-wheeler incident. I was trying to explain how big our family was and they couldn't believe it so I just showed them the picture on here. One little boy said, "That's bigger than our whole town." While telling the story, I made myself a pitiful victim, instead of the moron that I was. LOL They still didn't feel sorry for me:) They have also heard the scooter story, which they beg me to tell again and again.

Saturday, May 16, 2009

We have been cornholin' it up this evening. Such beautiful weather today. We're having an afternoon shower now and the most bright rainbow I think I've ever seen popped up across the field from mom and dads. It's actually a double rainbow but the top one is not as bright. Yal be practicin' now. See ya at Steve's.
We will be back on the fourth or fifth. I'm not sure when you are planning this shindig, but if I am here, I will be happy to help. I only have one question...Trish mentioned someone distracting papa because we wouldn't be able to clean to suit him...so who is going ot distract mom, Ruth and Trish???? LOL

Friday, May 15, 2009

Good Idea on the cleaning! Any of the guys that wanted to could come and keep daddy busy with his stuff that way he wouldn't tell us how to clean inside the house. Lets see, that will be Emily and Zac's anniversary weekend and Janet and Matts too. Probably can't count on them. But it sounds like a good week!
Got a late evening soaking, but nothing like you described. I cleaned at Mommy's today and just so you know, what goes in the fridge, is now like the freezer, it stays there. I found food in there that was put there 3 weeks ago, and last week when I cleaned. I usually cook extra so they will have leftovers to eat later, but looks like they stay in the fridge, except for the bread. It all gets eaten. I am planning a "deep cleaning" week, the week after July 4th. If anyone can volunteer some time, a few days, hours....we'll take it. If you think you could help, let me know so we can plan on what we might be able to get done. I can get the weekly cleaning, but it takes all day, by the time I cook them a meal and clean up the kitchen. I mean, clean the kitchen, cook and then clean the kitchen again. LOL I'll send out an email with more details. We actually plan to make it fun...yes, you young whipper snappers!! FUN!! With lots of good food and laughs, I'm sure. You won't want to miss this...we're going to be making memories!!! I went to the cabinet to get a cup for coffee and instead, I got a cup with sour milk that had turned in to something Addy might want to analyze in Biology class. Let me know your thoughts on the time and such. If there's a better time for the majority, we can change it, I just thought that if Ruth wants to come, it would save her a trip since she will already be here. I might need a vacation about that time and I could take her home. This is not for women only!!
Did anyone get the flooding that we got here in the NRV last night? I've never heard it rain so hard in my life. It sounded like a train was running by our house and we don't even live near the tracks!

Thursday, May 14, 2009

I'm not real sure about my summer plans. Working...somewhere. Just don't know where at the moment. I think Zac is going to be pretty busy with the apartments. He is supposed to paint all of the doors this summer which i think will take a pretty good while. I'm thinking about just getting a job here on campus that way I can just walk here. And then I might even be able to keep that job into next semester or something.

Tomorrow is our last day of finals. We each have one at 9 and then we are home free! I can't wait to be homeworkless for once...=P

And we should be able to come to the cookout that weekend too.
We'll see how Addy loves the gardening!! Pulling weeds, hoeing (sp) the corn, miracle growing the beans... Addy, if you and Paul want to, ya'll can ride to Steve's with us, or if Paul has to work, you can ride with us. If Dad has to work, then it might just be us. Kaiden is sitting in the floor beside me playing with my iron skillets. I'm just waiting for him to mash his toe!!! Emily, what are your plans for the summer?
Mommy is still talking about Uncle Lee coming up for a few weeks. Do you know when, Janis?
Addy, speaking of cook-outs. I don't know if you got the email or not, but we are planning a graduation cook-out for Kelsey on Saturday, June the 6th @ 1pm. That goes for anyone else that wants to come.
Well, only 15 more days of school!!!! I can't WAIT to get rid of these kids. And yes Emily, I know you're already finished so you don't have to rub it in. I'm thinking cook-outs and road trips for the summer... maybe some landscaping. ooohhh, and gardening! I love summertime!

Oh yeah,
you guys would never guess what everyone ordered for dinner when we all went out?
BROWN BEANS!! Daddy said he could get those at home, but then all he ate was DILL PICKLES!!!
Janet is absolutely right, Kaiden is just as cuddley as Tanner was. And you could hurt Tanners feelings by just scolding him or looking at him hard. Not Emily and Jacob though. I had to beat them regularly and it still didn't phase them!
I would say Tanner got his hair from Danny, but can't say that cause he doesn't have any! LOL Sorry DannyBoy!
I talked to Amy yesterday. Little Ms Clara is being quite the angel. Eating and sleeping and pooping in all the right colors! She is supposed to go to the doctor today for a checkup!
Tanner is going to hate me for this, but... Kaiden is just as cuddly and lovable as Tanner was when he was little. Tanner used to wrap his little arms completely around my neck and hang on for dear life. There is one difference though, they won't stand still that long and they aren't fighting!
Lucky for Kaiden, I don't think his hair is QUITE as out-of-control as Tanner's was back in the day. But i do think you and Olivia look alike!
Emily, I was scrolling down and thought that it was Olivia!! She looks just like you. And if Kaiden had more hair, I think he would look like Tanner too. Such pretty kids, aren't they??? Steve, we'll keep you in the loop. It was fun Saturday having dinner together. I still can't get over Lonnie not buying my dinner though. LOL It is beautiful here today and I'm putting clothes on the line. Hillbilly Clothes Dryer I am told. Do you know that city folk think that is unsanitary!!! And embarrassing!!! Maybe that's where the saying "Airing your dirty laundry" comes from. It would be embarrassing if you hung your clothes out to dry with the stains still in them. But some people hang clothes on the line to let the sun take the stains out! This does work especially on tomato based stains cause I put it to the test. And yet these same people wash their underwear with their facecloths!!! I'm making deer jerky today. David Thomas has been waiting on it so I've got to mail him some out.

I wish we could have been there Sunday morning for mother's day. We were in Ansted with Zac's parents. He built her a porch swing...she really liked it.

I put up some old pictures on my facebook the other day and someone commented on one saying that me and tanner look like olivia and kaiden.

What do you think?
Yeah, Dinner was fun! It was so funny about all the grilled cheese sandwiches! Mommy ordered the special: chili and grilled cheese, but she also wanted cornbread so I ordered that. when they brought out her food, there were 8 (I think thats right) sandwiches stacked up on Mommys plate. We all had a grilled cheese! Funny!! I think they both enjoyed dinner, Daddy enjoyed his dill pickles and mommys sandwiches.

Monday, May 11, 2009

Wish we could have been there. At least we got to enjoy dinner with everyone on Saturday. You guys keep me in the loop with happenings this summer. I'm going to try and make it up more often. My number is the same as Mom and Dads, except 540.
Count me in as a ballbag as well, oh wait, that's tenderhearted (haha). If we had been there I know I'd been boo-hoozin' along with ya. We took Mark's mom and dad out to Cracker Barrell after church Sunday morning. We had a good time, such beautiful weather!! I hope everyone had a wonderful mother's day. We're enjoying Clara's pictures.
I prefer tenderhearted if it's all the same to you:) Yes, everyone note that- YOUNGEST mother! That was just what I needed! Thanks for the picturs of baby Clara. You could tell that by the end of that photo shoot, she didn't have any choice but to have her eyes open. She was probably blind from the light! Amy sure has that glow of a proud mommy!
It was kind of funny. We practiced the song on saturday to sing but didn't tell Mommy. Then sunday morning when we went in to church, daddy said do you girls know that song mama's treasures by heart? could you all sing that for mom. Must of been God! Janet didn't mention that she got the prize for the youngest Mother.
No you wouldn't. You two are ballbags. LOL
Well I would have been just fine if it wouldn't have been for Papa!

Sunday, May 10, 2009

For those of you that weren't at Meadow Grove this morning, you were greatly missed. It was great to be able to be with so many family members. Just some insight for those that missed...of course grandma got most kids and she got most grandkids by a landslide, but they didn't let her "win" twice. Mom, Bobbie, Trish and Elliot sang and played "Mama's Treasures". Papa started crying as soon as they started singing. I turned around and Addy was bawling like a big baby, so I had no choice but to join in. I don't know they didn't ask me and Addy to sing...maybe because we would have been up front blubbering all over ourselves. LOL Anyway, it was a blesses service. Miss you all. Hope baby Clara is doing well and...sleeping! Love you all, too!
Happy Mothers Day to all, and that is a beautiful baby congrats, just in time for this day

Clara is beautiful :) Congratulations!!
What a blessing! She is beautiful! I can't wait to get my hands on her. Congratulations to the lucky parents and grandparents!
The long awaited bundle, she is beautiful,I am with you Rita I want to see her hair, Amy and Greg you did a beautiful job.Now the fun begins.
I think she looks like her Great Grandma Vivian, don't you. Dan said she was beautiful and she looked just like him. I told him, she could be one or the other, but she couldn't be both! LOL. Can't wait to see her hair. Hope Mom and Dad got some rest.

We need some pictures of baby clara on here! Hope all is well and mommy is getting some rest.
Janis~I hear you about the cooped up business!! I did get out and mow the lawn yesterday evening after Janet picked up the kids. I mowed the front while they were still here. I zipped them up in the trampoline where I could see them, and I mowed with the push mower, for exercise. Kaiden (he's 15 months old) got so mad when I wouldn't let him out, but then he just sat down and watched me mow. He looked at me like "I can't believe she locked me up" LOL
Your little boy sounds like he is making progress in leaps and bounds!! Encouragement and love go a long way. I'm sure he will excel because he has a desire to learn. I think I was lacking in that department when I was in school. But If I had known then what I know now.....!!! We are supposed to get more rain tonight and tomorrow. Flood Watch in effect! I do love the rain at night though. I open my bedroom window and I can hear the rain on the tin roof of the garage.

Thursday, May 7, 2009

Trish, I don't know when Daddy is going to come up there. He going to see how these drip medication treatments are going to go. He says he would like to stay a couple of weeks.
Rita, Daddy is doing pretty good. He gets out in between rains We got 4 more days of rain here. Then stop for a few days then start back. It don't stop even long enough to mow the grass. The kids are doing great. Tyler will get to start the big K this next year when school starts but he will have some of the teachers he had this year like speech and physical motor skills. But bless his heart he is really tyring to learn. He can come up with some words he learning. Such a long way from when I got them. He says I am the band-aid person because I am a girl. He says that's my job. And says my husband is the chips person because he is a boy. I just have to laugh at him a lot. Hope everyone is doing good there. And I can't wait until summer all that sun shine. I am tired of being cooped up in this house.
Thank you Rita for the explanation on the buckets, how neat. Thank you Lord for the buckets you gave us throughout the night because now I have sprouts from the wildflower seeds pawpaw gave me!! I'm so excited, I can't wait to see what they look like:)
Janis~How's the weather in Tennessee? How is Unlce Lee feeling? Does he feel like getting out and about? How are the kids? Looking forward to Summer, no doubt. Counting down the days?
Buckets....My rain gauge shows a little over 2 and a half inches since this started, but My mop bucket on the back porch was full. Before rain gauges that's how they measured the rain fall. When they left their bucket out and it filled up...thus, it rained buckets!!! And now you know the rest of the story. News is that Clara is on the way this morning. Blain had just said, "She'll go before Saturday". And then Ruth called!! Go figure. Daddy said, "Well the moon changed and that's what brought it about". Whatever!!!~the moon is always changing. By the time it dries off enough to mow the lawn, we'll have to use the bushhog!!
Praise the Lord for buckets!!! I got garlic sprouts!!

It's been raining buckets here too.
Amy and Greg went to the Cleveland Cav's playoff game last night hoping that the excitement would cause her to go into labor, but it didn't work! The doctor told her last Friday that she was 4 centimeters dilated, and that she would not go another week. Who knows? If she goes until the 12th, they will induce.
I bet Amy is sure wishing that Baby Clara would hurry up and make a move-preferably out! She thinks she'll get a good nights sleep once that belly is gone...boy is she in for a rude awakening! We are all anxiously waiting to get the call!

Rainy ole' day here. Went to Mommy's yesterday and Daddy went out in the pines and dug some more ramps. So I helped Mommy clean and bag them. We put 13 bags in the freezer to go with the other 50 left over from years gone by... Daddy cut his hand while he was outside messin' around with the mower. Not too bad, but when I saw it, I got weak in the knees!!! Go figure... Couldn't have been the blood, must have been the cut!! And then he tried to tell me how to bandage it, nothin' like I learned in Nursing School!!! But it worked for him.
I thought sure Clara Hocevar would be here by now!!! Not much new here. All this rain is sure making my garden grow. I think every last pea came up!! Now we need it to dry off so we can plant the rest of it.

The pics of Andy and Kim, and Ben and Kelsey are so good. Love Andy's hat!! Emily, I love the pic of Zac!! What a lens!!! Oh, and Is Zac going to make Onion Soup??? Going to mommy's to clean today. We are going to give Penny to Mommy and Daddy and if he ties her up, we're going to go get her. I'm going to tell Daddy if he needs to tie her up, I'll just take her back. Going to get her fixed and get her shots first. AND a bath. She may get hit by a car, but while she is alive, I want her to run free.
